I flush the lines once a year in my barns. I don't use the blue dye. I just smell the water. .. I also run peroxide every batch through the medicaters.
One of my favorite your tube channels. I might also add once I found out about the pod cast you guys got I've been hooked. Keep up the great work boys your killing it!!!!!
Cool! Love small pigs :) Using blue dye is really good idea and so simple. So far, I have been struggling with math (pipe diameter x length of the section to be cleaned x 4 to be rinsed using the Dosatron dispenser :/ ). You've just made my life easier, guys :) thank you
Once a year is what we also practice, but it depends very much how youre well is in my opinion, how is the corn and beans doing? Thanks for the video and have a good day greetings from a Dutch dairyfarmer
Do you put the dye through the dispenser together with the CIO2, or do you put it separately? Doesn't it destroy the dispenser ? This is a food coloring?
I work in a pig barn too and unloading babies is very fun because it’s easy depending on how the barn is layer out and in our barn there are just random cubbies and it’s really annoying to pigs out of them
Gators and pigs are easy, quick ways to get rid of bodies! If you slip and fall, knocking yourself out in a group of adult pigs and no one is around...

Always entertaining!
Have you all thought about doing a farrow to finish operation
Hmmm! Peroxide you say? I might be able to use this trick at my work.

Are them slats not very wide for the pigs feet ?
How many finished pigs can you get on the trailer summer and winter
We load 162 in the summer and maybe 170 in the winter. Been pretty consistent at 162 for a while.
When growing sweet corn so close to your field corn, do you have trouble with cross pollination?

Make sure to get footage of blowing the lines for the next video

I'm curious if you know how heavy the pigs you got are and the breed. I work in a farrow to wean barn so intrigues me! Enjoy watching your content
Do their tiny feet get stuck in those grids??
Nope. When they come in their feet are small enough that they don’t get stuck and by the time they grow bigger they’ve learned not step in the gaps.
Seeds were arrived
Out of curiosity, about how many piglets can they get on a tractor trailer load?
Around 1200. Some trailers are built specifically for weaner pigs and might be able to haul more. Ours come on weaner/ feeder pig trailers.
👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks for watching Ken!
