Other sites talk about software updates but Toyota says there are no updates available for my stereo....this was the fix and I'm back in business!

I went back to the shop and they said it would cost 4000 because my radio was broken but after hours of looking on different threads, I found this video and the second solution worked and no less than five minutes. Thank you!!! The Bluetooth on our 2014 Highlander randomly stopped working, but was NOT grayed out. It would just go back to the home screen when we hit the bluetooth button. Tried this, anyway, and it worked!

Oh it is an expensive repair. If you went to the dealer either they’d do the same thing I just showed and charge you like 2 hrs labor or say you need a whole new radio!!

I saw A/V Icon avaliable on your Radio? Do you have a separate DVD entertainment system installed in your car? Was curious how to activate that feature. Also there is a default way to reset to factory settings by pressing the keys, does that default method is different to the one you are showing here ?
Thanks for watching. No I do not have a dvd system in my 4 runner. I do have an aux and usb jack in my 4runner. Could have something g to do with those? I am sure there is another way to reset to factory other than what I showed. I just found this way worked for my problem...
