No one does well by adopting victimization narratives based on things that happened centuries ago

Brilliant talk by Dr. Horne as usual.
The trial to abolition of slavery 1776 is a complicated matter. I believe the British tried to do that not because of any good will or humanity, but because they saw their colony across Atlantic growing in wealth and becoming more powerful than them and most of that wealth came from slavery. So it was more or less a strategic move.

It’s not. It’s showing the audience. The guy walking by was just a coincidence.

sir, please stop disrespecting my ancestor's, the original name of the island is ayiti, not hispaniola.christopher columbus tried to change the island name to hispaniola, and our ancestor's gave the island back it's original name haiti. plus do your research on haiti black caracoles tribe's.

The man said 99 great things about your Island, which he is clearly advocating for, and yet you choose to single out one 1 tiny semantic error to bash him upon.

It is absolutely ridiculous that out of everything this brilliant scholar has said that supports the marvelous history of our people, you found it necessary to isolate this critique. The only “disrespect” here is the discordant comment you’ve posted, Lindor.

Typical, he did not say anything negative. Ayiti means land of the mountains named by the Tainos, which Columbus slaughtered. It later change by a few letter.
