However, Dr. Gerald Horne, author of “The Counter-Revolution of 1776: Slave Resistance and the Origins of the United States of America,” argues that this narrative is "misleading, at best." Dr. Horne joins Rania and Eugene to uncover the hidden history behind Juneteenth and discuss the reactionary forces still trying to obscure the true origins of the United States.

I can’t bear to watch all the way to the end. Can someone let me know if Horne says “and this is why we got to vote for Biden?”
Well, Eugene and Rania are communists, so if Horne does have something to say in defense of Biden, he's not going to pitch it to them here. We're voting for De la Cruz, or in some cases Stein.
What is with these comments? Everything I've read by him has been excellent and holds up under scrutiny. And none of it is congruent with what you apparently expected him to say (which he did not say).
I’d take Dr. Horne’s comments with a grain of salt considering how we openly lies on the first page of his Counterrevolution book. He’s not recognized as an honest scholar.
Then be specific. I've seen published critiques of that book that turned out to be quite wrong.

Not thoroughly. I won't pretend to be an expert on the project but criticism from the left has been anything but thorough. Why don't you be specific about what's so wrong with it?
