Just rewatched this after watching Nate do the Leadville 100. Didn’t even intend to come across this video from the North Pole. What a full circle moment. Made me emotional, I love being a part of the journey and having yall as a part of my life! Super proud of yall, Kara and Nate!🎉🎉🎉🎉
7:20--- I don't think people realize the hours and hours of work and effort that go into your videos, setting up the shots, logistics, organizing footage, creating the story, editing etc. You guys are the among the most dedicated storytellers on RUclips and to see how enthusiastic you are in every shot, even though I imagine your brains must be on overload at times, is very inspiring.
currently training for a full marathon. today i was supposed to be running a half. started watching this video while eating breakfast thinking i wasn’t going to run because it’s too hot outside and i just wasn’t feeling it. paused it halfway through to get ready for the run because i realized if nate can run 100 miles on a cruise at the north pole, i can get out and run. and i ran my fastest half today! thanks for the motivation guys.
Running at the North Pole!? I feel like Nate has become one of those people that can't help thinking of ways to challenge himself and I'm here for it! 😁 I find it really inspiring!

Love how he said “ I wanted to see if I could still have self discipline” so he was testing himself. True fact “it’s amazing what the body can do once you put your mind to it.” Congrats for pushing yourself both physically and mentally. 🙌🏼
Would be fun to see you guys do another colab/adventure, specially now that Bec is on the other side of her recovery, love you guys, look forward to nxt vid!!
I just love how much you both support each other and how much fun you both have no matter what kind of a journey/challenge it is. I’m constantly inspired by your positivity, Kara, and your drive, Nate. Thank you!!
When is comes to motivation vs discipline, you Nate, are one of the most disciplined people I’ve ever seen. You’re incredibly inspiring and congrats on another insane physical challenge completed! Currently working on my 2nd half marathon ever and as a med student so seeing you complete your challenges while also being extremely busy is just the inspiration I needed😊
My husband ran his first marathon while in med school. What he found frustrating tickled me. It was the same frustration he met when someone scored higher on an exam, this time being faster times. Good luck.
"a 12 km run is a long comfortable run for me" gee thanks nate i almost died on my 3.5km run this morning hahah. no but in all seriousness, this is truly an inspiration for me, when you said that the human body is capable of incredible things. it means we very much can literally anything as long as we put our minds to it, and we keep at it. :")
Man this series has been a blast to watch! Brings me back to watching the Colorado trail series. Always fun getting such a detailed look at the experience! Such quality content through and through.
You would think you guys are still in your honeymoon stage! I love seeing a couple who supports each other to grow individually. As always, love the video. Congrats Nate!
If it helps to find your why you did this, you've motivated me to challenge myself. I'm going to walk 100 miles in September. The most I've ever done in a month was 98 in July, so I think I can do it, but I had major motivation in July. You're now my motivation to go further in September 🙂
Nate! You're an absolute legend! Every day when I'm trying to find my "why" I think Nate does more in a day that I do in a week! Never give up! You make the world a better place!
This is my favorite series you guys have ever done. I find myself checking back every day to see if the next episode dropped yet. Oh, and Nate...YOU GO!!!!
It's always important to keep a "why" in the back of your head, but sometimes you just have to do and not ask questions, and this video is a good reminder to sometimes just go for it! Love the "behind the scenes" nature of this video too.
@Lila & Christo Thanks for the thoughtful message and sub, I added you two back as well. Great to meet like minded people and wish you the best of luck on your channel. Enjoy the journey and let me know if you have any constructive criticism or need any help with anything. Best, Joey
Kara, I hate running too. But I have restarted running again after stopping for a while. Running power poles to power poles. It helps so much in the time you aren’t running long distances.
Amazing challenge Nate! You can do it! I really love your adventures. ❤ Such frigid temps and yet so beautiful! Thank you for taking us on this amazing trip. 🎉 PS: I am voting every day for you and Kara to be selected as RUclips influencers!!! I am on it for my favorite travel influencers.
This has been a great series. I love how Nate finally found his “why” of running 100 miles and Kara going all out to surprise him. You both make a great team!
Nate, extremely well done to you sir! Having the self discipline to finish a challenge like this is a testament to will power and determination. Also Kara, your support to what Nate was doing is invaluable! That celebration at the end was very well deserved!
Every video reminds me of why I love watching you two so much. It’s so remarkable how it’s „always the same“ meaning you have a clear topic but every video is so different and I love all the heartfelt moments. The good and the bad. I’m so happy I randomly found this channel. Wish you nothing but health and safety for ever 🤍 all the love from Black Forest / Germany.
Inspiring! As usual, I am in awe of these two. Nate’s determination on finishing his task and Kara rooting him on! These two are the definition of couple goals. The support they have is incredible! This video especially inspired me. I’m about to embark on an incredibly difficult health challenge myself. I’ve been preparing my mind and seeing this kind of dedication really makes me ready. I know I can do it and y’all would totally be cheering me on. Thanks for being such a positive, encouraging, loving, inspiring, wonderful and adventurous team. Sharing your story is helping others. Way to go!
The surprise at the end was the best part. The love y’all have for each other is so amazing and brings me so much joy every time I watch your videos. ❤️ Congrats on 100 miles!
Both of you are honestly an inspiration and motivation to better my mental health. Kara, even when she worries at times, has this happy, loving, and genuine aura and it shows on her. Nate, on the other hand keeps his mind active with these challenges. Discipline is impeccable. I also love the comfort zone concept. Their healthy mental health makes them look young, in my opinion. Thank you both for being good for my mental health 🤍😊
This was my favorite episode of the series. Nate’s determination is something I hope to instill in my kids when they grow up. Keep on trucking you guys!
Amazing Nate! Getting inspired to do a similar challenge once I can run again after my knee surgery.. You guys truly inspire everyone of us to live our lives to the fullest!
Nate you are an inspiration to me; I’m 52 out of shape; you encourage me to take my first steps to start my new journey to fitness health! Thank, thank Nate & Kara, love you two beautiful souls 🥰
Omiword this was like watching my own relationship from third-person perspective!! 😂😅 my husband is exactly like Nate! Can’t be busy or challenged enough 😂. I’m exactly like Kara with all the encouragement and support and the celebrations under protest. Especially love that Kara (like me!) is totally fine to shower love and support without feeling the need to fully participate in something she doesn’t love to do. Beautiful couple! Love it! 😍
I remember all of this from my time on the ship when I was in the Navy. The “hill workouts” were always ridiculous, but fun in a way. Glad you have that drive Nate!
You guys always give me the inspiration I need to do anything in life, and go through any challenges that I face day to day. Can’t wait for the last video of the series and good job Nate!!!!
You guys popped up on my feed abt two weeks ago and I have been binge watching your videos ever since. I just love how genuine, kind, thoughtful, positive and relatable you guys are. I can feel the happiness and how grateful you are when you get to experience some beautiful places and you know how lucky you are to be able to experience these amazing places. I don’t watch the videos because of the places you’re going to or the amazing places you’re staying at its you guys that make the videos special. Kara just always has me laughing or crying. I love her tears of joy and her happy dances when you get to a new place and I get to share in your guises amazing accomplishments like Nate riding the Colorado trail, I was so proud of him or hiking the glaciers to get to that hotel at the top, I was so scared for you guys. But that’s the thing you get people hooked in caring about what you’re doing and how genuine and kind people you are, you don’t see that very often. Keep doing what you’re doing for as long as you possibly can and only do it as long as it makes you happy! Luv you two! Can’t wait to watch your next video! 💜 stay safe
I think the ending "surprise party" was the most I've ever smiled while watching your videos!!! Grear job Kara for setting all of that up! Also Nate, I have no idea how you ran so many miles in the cold, I live in Florida and would rather run in hot humid weather than freezing temperatures any day!!!
I've stated several times I'm not a fan of the physical challenges, always preferring the travel experiences that led me to you two. But you guys are so incredibly creative - you mixed the two!! It's actually the first physical endurance video that was as much a travel video as the other and really kept me engaged. Excellent work! Seeing videos by you two is the highlight of my week!!!!
I stumbled upon your channel and now I’m hooked! What a beautiful couple and how sweet of Kara to support you and throw a surprise for you at the end. Loooove your channel!!!!
I absolutely love you guy’s adventures and you make them so much fun. Congratulations Nate you said you were going to do it and you did. Kara will always be your main supporter and you two rock. Love you guy’s.
That’s amazing Nate, Nailing it. Hope you got to enjoy yourself at the same time as all these challenges. I know you love it but seems like a lot of work on such a once in a lifetime trip. Make sure you keep a balance!! What a amazing trip.
I love Nates conviction. If yall have not yet seen hacksaw ridge, I highly recommend it. It's a true story about what you can do when your goal is not obstructed by the obstacles.
Kara and Nate are the cutest couple. They compliment each other so well. I'm very much a homebody but have completely enjoyed living vicariously thru them. I honestly never wanted two people I don't know to have true happiness and love for the rest of their lives. 💜 Ty Kara and Nate.
I loved seeing the admiration and support you give each other unconditionally to achieve your individuals goals, it’s really beautiful. Ps. I came for the international travel videos….but I’ve stayed for the physical/mental challenges! So good!
I have started watching yalls videos while working out bc nate determination and Kara's motivation and positive attitude just reminds me why I'm doing it.
Nate, as for your “why” from an outside perspective-I remember you talking about how there’s no greater thing than the growth and learning you get out of doing hard things. That reward at the end of doing something hard-it’s really one of the most beautiful things in life. That being said, when you don’t have that reward to look forward to (as in not currently being in the process of doing something hard) you know what you’re missing out on. So you feel more empty, and motivated, and as if something is missing, when you don’t have a hard goal. So therefore, you enjoy setting hard goals for yourself-even when they seem a bit reasonless, it’s really just because you’re craving that growth and beauty.
Love this, We once did a marathon a month for a whole year, meaning we ran at least 26.2miles each calendar month for the year. It was a great consistency challenge as it meant we had to go for 2-3 short runs every week.
Loved this so much! Nate this was so inspiring and your attitude through it all was so relatable and Kara was so supportive and positive. The surprise at the end was a massive cherry on top! Thank you both!
It’s really kind of brilliant how you guys broke this trip up into 5 different videos so that you can give consistent content to your viewers, yet each video is very different from the others. Y’all knew that watching ice on a video can only be entertaining for so long. I know it appears to many that you guys vacation for a living, but it is quite clear that the two of you are incredibly dedicated workers. You two are truly an endearing couple. I love watching Nate’s dedication to following through with what he says he will do, and I love what a devoted wife Kara is to Nate - both in seeing him struggle and anticipating his needs, and also encouraging him and coming alongside him when he needs that extra boost to keep going. I adore you guys. Nate, I do admire your desire to complete a physical or career-oriented challenge. I would like to propose considering a spiritual challenge to study (not read, but really study) 1 chapter of a book out of the Bible every day for whatever time period you feel led to do. Whether you’re a believer or not, I think you will find it to be an interesting challenge. If you’re still reading and interested in suggestions as to how one might go about that: the Blue Letter Bible app is simple, no fuss, easy to navigate, has commentaries, and has the ability to read the original Hebrew and a Greek meanings of the words when you click on a verse. The New Living Translation is easy to understand. James is my favorite book, if you want to start with a short book. Blessings to all who have read this!
You are amazing inspiration guys! I’m just back from my Polish trip and would love to have videos on this scale and quality one day! Aiming for 1k this year! It’s getting close keep up the amazing content
I'm totally with Nate on the self discipline! I set out to eat chocolate for a whole year, still going strong 17 months later! When I quit smoking 6 and a half years ago I refused to use patches etc! When I set out to lose some weight I got an exercise bike in the garage and aimed to increase my mileage every day, which I did. Mind over matter! Well done Nate, have to say I'm really enjoying this series!
YES, the return of the comfort zone graphic!!! I have the video from the mountain summit bookmarked because I refer people to it so often 😂 LOVE this! Way to keep inspiring us, Nate! (You too, Kara!!! Loved your polar plunge!)
Wow! That was an incredible goal Nate! But I believed in you to complete this challenge! Amazing job! I am loving this North Pole series so much. It reminds me of the Antarctica trip you guys went on a few years ago. Keep up the amazing work!❤️❤️
Nate is one of the most inspiring people out there. Running 100 miles on a cruise ship at the north pole. It's amazing how much somebody can push themselves. WOW!
Love watching you guys. Your such an inspiration to me 🤍already ticking things off my travel list thanks to you I've just come back from ireland so watching you on the drive home.xxx
Thank you Nate for the motivation. I have an adult volleyball league starting mid October. I am one of the oldest on the team, and quite out of shape but love playing sports. After watching your video I have decided to challenge myself start working out again to get ready for the upcoming season. And hopefully be able to keep up with the rest of the very athletic team. Thanks again!
Nate, you can’t imagine how much you’ve thought me. I don’t have a Father figure but your words, tips, teachings, are so inspiring and profound that kinda feels like you are a RUclips Father Figure.
Congratulations!! Nate, you are so impressive. This video actually brought tears to my eyes. You being so real and raw and sharing with us how your why changed. I’ve devoured y’all’s videos since the very beginning but I’ve never commented on anything. I understand you don’t like attention but that was an incredible feat of exercising your mind. Thanks so much for sharing with us! Can’t wait to watch what you do next!
Nate you did an amazing but stinky job!!! Hahaha! I'm sad for you guys that the cruise is over! I truly feel like I go on these journeys with you guys and get sad whenever each one is over! I look forward to watching your next adventure! :)
Nate, Amen brother! AWESOME JOB!!!!! You are doing what only a few can do in the north. Kara, I've gotta be honest with you, you support your man more then any others do, I really appreciate that. Love you always!
At first I sought to fast forward this episode, however, beholding the Love AND Respect you, Nate, and Kara bless each other with is absolutely inspiring as well as your excercise of PERSONAL integrity pays dividends the world over! Thank you for setting and completing your personal challenge. ...and You do deserve the praise. Receive all the Good you've sown in sweat.🥇💜
The comfort zone diagram is back!! I told a friend all about this and then created my own version in a blog post (I mentioned you both lots and linked back to your channel...)

Seen Nate embarrassed at the end just shows how humble of a person he is. Congratulations Nate!
“Don’t draw too much attention!” Says the one running around in the snow drawing everyone’s attention 😂 lol
As a runner I am insanely impressed. My favorite part of the video was the surprise. We laughed so hard with the two of you!!! Congratulations!!!
Running at the North Pole!? I feel like Nate has become one of those people that can't help thinking of ways to challenge himself and I'm here for it! 😁 I find it really inspiring!
Ditto!
everyone including Nat should be careful with burning the candle at both ends...over excerising, stress, over working etc can cause "Adrenal fatigue"...look up this. You dont want to burn out your adrenal glands. It can take 6 months to 2 years to heal them.
look up Symptoms of Adrenal fatigue.

I find it inspiring also as I sit here watching him. Lol

Kara has never been more relatable: “I don’t run.” 😂😂😂
Literally 😂😂
She was a podium finisher for her gender on the Everest climb and top 10 overall. She's plenty athletic.
@@culdeus9559 for sure! 💪🏼
Kara: "😃I hate running. This is terrible 😃"
Had me dying hahahahahhahahaha
Right!! 😂😂😂
Kara admiring/acknowledging Nate’s hard work throughout this video is so sweet! I love the way you cheer each other on.
Yes!! I loved that in this video! So sweet
His dedication is admirable and the fact that he has Kara’s 100% support makes you guys unstoppable!!
Love how he said “ I wanted to see if I could still have self discipline” so he was testing himself. True fact “it’s amazing what the body can do once you put your mind to it.” Congrats for pushing yourself both physically and mentally. 🙌🏼
Okay Nate Dog… way to show up my 5K run 😅!!! All joking aside, continually in awe of your dedication and perseverance. You inspire us both! Love ya!

STOP…don’t tell him that! Don’t plant that idea in Nate’s head. Hahahaha

I recently found your RUclips channel. I LOVE you guys! Very inspired to go on an Arctic adventure! I adore how sweet you are to each other~
Loved this so much! Nate this was so inspiring and your attitude through it all was so relatable and Kara was so supportive and positive. The surprise at the end was a massive cherry on top! Thank you both!
You guys are so awesome and such an inspiration! Nate is such a humble guy and Kara is so supportive and loving.
You two are just incredibly amazing 🫶🏾
You need to surprise Nate more often. His reaction was so hilarious!
You are amazing inspiration guys! I’m just back from my Polish trip and would love to have videos on this scale and quality one day! Aiming for 1k this year! It’s getting close keep up the amazing content
@Lila & Christo ah thank you so much! I’ll check out your channel and return the favour thanks guys
@Lila & Christo and I will always remember being sub number 80
I'm totally with Nate on the self discipline! I set out to eat chocolate for a whole year, still going strong 17 months later! When I quit smoking 6 and a half years ago I refused to use patches etc! When I set out to lose some weight I got an exercise bike in the garage and aimed to increase my mileage every day, which I did. Mind over matter! Well done Nate, have to say I'm really enjoying this series!
Scratch that favorite part is when Kara helps Nate stretch and joins him on one his runs to keep him encouraged during the challenge! What a wife!!
You guys are the best!!! Love all of your videos but especially loving this series!
YES, the return of the comfort zone graphic!!! I have the video from the mountain summit bookmarked because I refer people to it so often 😂
LOVE this! Way to keep inspiring us, Nate! (You too, Kara!!! Loved your polar plunge!)
Also now I’ve finished it, and Nate just look at the towel swans and the embarrassment as a different stretch of your comfort zone 😂😜
Hahaha YES that makes me so happy!!🫶🏻
Wow! That was an incredible goal Nate! But I believed in you to complete this challenge! Amazing job! I am loving this North Pole series so much. It reminds me of the Antarctica trip you guys went on a few years ago. Keep up the amazing work!❤️❤️
It reminds me too!!! Wow K&N you have a loyal fan base!! #WeLoveYouGuys
Nate is one of the most inspiring people out there. Running 100 miles on a cruise ship at the north pole. It's amazing how much somebody can push themselves. WOW!
The way Kara looks at Nate when he gives her thank you notes, is everything I need for couples goal ❤️
y’all inspire me everyday it’s insane
Love watching you guys. Your such an inspiration to me 🤍already ticking things off my travel list thanks to you I've just come back from ireland so watching you on the drive home.xxx
Love how y'all always push your limits!
I don’t have a Father figure but your words, tips, teachings, are so inspiring and profound that kinda feels like you are a RUclips Father Figure.
this is so cool! you guys have inspired me so much over the years, thank you!! 🙌
ahhhh so excited to watch this! Loving the series guys! 💗🥰
I love this series so much! you are my favorite people to watch!!
Well, Nate's tenacity is definitely part of the reason you guys are the best travel vloggers ever! (Kara's amazing too, of course!)
I watch you guys soo much! Hope you have a fun time on the cruise!
Love this series! Inspo for my future travels
