Lovely voices, they pair very well together. It's always a pleasure to hear a female chorister that doesn't overpower the male counterpart, and singing in a lower register works wonders here.

I think the girl’s voice is absolutely lovely.
I have searched long on RUclips for that version of this song which I remembered singing in Music class as a small child back in the early '70s. This has the right tempo.

We sang this to the late Queen Elizabeth II back in Year 1986 when She & Prince Philip visited Hong Kong. RIP Her Majesty, the angel will continue to shower you in graceful music up in the heaven.

He is excellent, but there are so many more just like him in the UK, and in the US even, although we have precious few Boychoirs in the US. My son is a Chorister in the Grand Rapids Choir of Men and Boys. He is quite good(not biased at all). It is interesting that when this programme was broadcast (9 April 2017), Angus Benton and Agatha Pethers were actually former choristers of the year, not the current ones.
they are the choristers of the year 2015 ... it was part of BBC Songs of Praise
Yes, I know. I was surprised that the choristers of the year 2016, Edward Hyde and Florence Cain, did not sing it considering it was broadcast on 9 April 2017. Perhaps one of the choristers of the year 2016 was not available... And fortunately, being still relatively young, Angus Benton was able to sing it.

@@llornit My favorite Cathedral in all of England. I have sung for Dr. Martin Neary here in the US for about 5 years. Some of his best recordings were done at Winchester. Lucky kid!

For me, they are two different voices: a soprano and a mezzosoprano; but both of them are amazing and have a lot of technique.
@@mariajosechevitarese6914I think so too. There is a difference between eyery Girl and boy voice.
Why show a mother with her lambs in a song all about beauty and joy? The lambs will mostly likely be taken away from their mommy to be slaughtered, and their mommy will be slaughtered eventually too.
Perhaps that is the beauty that God provides these animals for his human creation.
