Meet Jeffrey (Steven Weber, Wings), a struggling actor in the New York scene who has just made the biggest decision of his life: he's swearing off sex ... forever! From acclaimed director Christopher Ashley and writer Paul Rudnick, this hilarious and touching film redefined the romantic comedy for the LGBTQ+ community living in the age of AIDS in the 90s. This movie helped me a lot during teenege years in postcomunistic middle european country (that was/is backwards regarding our rights). I was in love with Michael T. Weiss (his TV series The Pretender ran here), today I stil enjoy his and Webers acting in Jeffrey. And those cameos!

LOVE this movie! All star cast doing Paul Rudnick dialogue in Twin Towers Central Park Pride Manhattan? Doesn't get any better, how could it? Sweet, unique time capsule, only AIDS romcom ever? Bryan Batt, Christine Baranski, Michael T. Weiss (& his abs!), Victor Garber, Kevin Nealon, smokin', tinkling the ivories Mother Teresa, Shakespearean Jean-Luc Picard, flaming 1 liners & breaking my g.d. heart. Beloved friend Douglas didn't enjoy it, he would die from AIDS less than 2 years later, obviously it had a different meaning for him. But whenever I watch Jeffrey, I will remember my irreplaceable friend, & laugh & cry @ this wunnerful movie, thank you so much to all who made this.
