    In this video we go over the Adidas D.O.N. Issue #4.
    Price wise, Donovan Mitchell’s line has been the most affordable option among the other Adidas signature shoes, including Harden’s, Trae Young’s and Dame’s. The cushioning feels good, but the “Lightstrike Strobel” didn’t really impress me much. Traction works well, and the outsole should be fine for outdoor use. Unlike other Adidas basketball shoes, I recommend going true to size with the DON Issue 4 since they fixed a common problem -heel slippage. Stability and support are also great, the lockdown on your feet is really secure.
    However, not recommended for flat footers due to soreness.
    Let me know your thoughts on the Adidas D.O.N. Issue 4!

    Totally agree with this shoe not being for flat footed people. The stableframe running up my arches and the lateral side keep jamming into my foot and its really uncomfortable. Loosening the laces did solve it a little but at the end of the day my feet were really sore. It might be a combination of the stable frame as well as lacking cushioning in the forefoot since the lightstrike tapers off there. Solid review and here's to hoping the next don issue would be more accommodating for wide footed people!

    • @TommyLiu4
      @TommyLiu4  Год назад

      🤝🤝 Right exactly, might be the secure lacing system or lockdown being too good, but like you said hard lateral movements would hurt my feet. Hope they continue to make improvements, cheers! 🙏

    Used these as my tennis n outdoor badminton shoes, combined with Move Game Day insoles, the cushioning suddenly feels great. Also went TTS at size 10 for my 27cm ovevpronated feet with high instep and normal arch (since I preferred some room at the toes), the lateral claw is actually doing its job for tennis n baddie level of swift lateral movement. Only cons is what u said, the heel counter kinda went to my heel. Kinda wished that they're using softer materials there but can't be helped if the reason is for tank level of support ._.
    Anyway, thx for the past review 🙏
