In this video we go over Donovan Mitchell’s 5th signature shoe: the Adidas DON Issue 5:
Cushion is slightly below average, in terms of softness and responsiveness. Within Adidas itself, the Harden’s, Dame’s, and even Trae Young’s all give you a better bounce and smoother landing. Traction is excellent, you should be good to go under most conditions with the herringbone outsole - durability seems great so far too. The DON Issue 5 fits true to size, wide footers can choose to size up but no sizing down is needed. No major issues with the stability and lockdown, but please keep in mind that the upper materials aren’t very flexible and conforming.

I'm about to ask you to make a video about D.O.N Issue 5, but lucky you did it :))
Love them. Should be one of the top 10 especially considering the $120 price. I went 1/2 size down (tried them on in store).
Putting move insoles in the issue 4s transformed those joints. They became my favourite to hoop in outdoors. Will do the same with this one.

son of flash or this, which is better for outdoor?
the 4s sucked. I kept sliding on clean and dusty courts and no squeek. the cushion was the worst part, felt like dry cardboard and hurt my feet. I think the 5s are an upgrade but still nota shoe that is worth retail. hope the colorways get better.
Was it with the translucent outsole or solid rubber?

808 3 overall - but Son of Flash is bouncier.

Adidas is always durable.,i had my harden vol. 3 in the review of the so called "shoe experts" the shoe is not durable but it turns out really2 nice i had it for 5 yrs of playing where in most courts here in Philippines was an open court with dusty surroundings..
How is the cushion compared to the 4s?
About the same I would say - maybe a tiny bit better with the heel cushion.
4s and trae 2s were just on dsg for 30 And 45 usd respectively.
