I also put his sleep down to a red night light we use. I turn on the red light at bed time to show him its time for his big sleep. I turn it off when I put him down and if I ever need to go in through the night or feed him (in the early days) I would put on the red light. It makes them produce melatonin.
You should be so proud of yourself. It's not easy being a mum but you have come so far!! I'm only a new subscriber but you seem like.a genuine person and a great mum. If I'm even half the mum you are ill be so proud of myself!!
My daughter is exactly a month younger than George she was born October 9th and even weighed the exact same! Sleep regression signs are starting to show especially with day naps, it’s been such a mission lately so thanks so much for this video! Xx
You seem so sweet and I loved watching your cute routine - definitely agree about the Burt's Bees products! We are ditching the paci today because popping it back in tat night was rough! This video definitely is an encouragement to keep going!
I wouldn’t lose the. Dummy just yet lovely he’s to young dummy’s really help my 6 month hasn’t taken to one but I would still offer her one if she did , my 20 month old stil has one , it will get easier I’ve done the 4 month one 3 times now 🙈 love ur videos xx
We didn't have any sleep regressions at all. My boy, now 15 months old, progressively progressively better and better until at 6 months he slept 6pm-6/7am. He's never looks back. So it definitely doesn't happen to all babies! I didn't let him sleep with a dummy until he was old enough to find it in the cot himself.
Amber love her dummies now tommee tippee cherry one latex one now she naver like Tham before spit out little monkey she is she always up every hour of the night for nappy and bottle too😱🥱🥱
My little boy has just turned 12 weeks and is already ditching the dummy on his own at night! He occasionally still takes it but is definitely better at falling asleep on his own without it. We are still in the love to dream swaddle with hands in and he loves chewing his hands. I find the same, he knocks the dummy out and takes so much longer!
Needed this! My son takes his dummy out all the time and it's driving me crazy! Think we're going to have to try taking it away!! 😂 Edit- YES please make that video!!! 💕
Ahhh good luck chick! It’s still going well for us but I’m not throwing the dummies out just yet! Taking each day as it comes but so far, best decision!! I’m deffo going to make that video I think, testing the teething bits this week! 🙈
@@HomeWithShan that's good to hear! We have fallen into the awful habbit of giving him his dummy all time time, even if he doesn't need it 🤦 we're currently experiencing leap 3 so have a very grumpy little boy 😂 Fingers crossed 🤞🤞 Hope it continues to go well for you guys!! 💕
My only question is what shampoo or product do you use to have such shiny and silky blonde hair?!! I am a blonde and mine doesn’t look nearly as shiny as yours!!!
The dummy is an odd one for me. My 7wo once conked out does not mind if she loses her dummy but in the process of falling asleep she really winges if it comes out. My main problem is I want to start transitioning her to a sleep bag rather than blankets but she kicks her legs up a lot when on her back as she has wind issues and it is keeping her awake 😭
I’m going through the 4 month sleep regression at the moment and isn’t it a killer, we’ve also got rid of the dummy. I read this is the best time to do it so they don’t get attached to it. Just can’t wait for him to go back to sleeping normally 🥱
Hi, I’m a midwife. Please don’t prop feed your baby. Even if you’re next to him it’s really unsafe, sitting next to him won’t stop him from choking. Feeding time is a really important time for bonding and for his emotional development. He’s also very young for you to take away a dummy he’s used to having, if he keeps dropping it, it may be a sign that it’s too small and you need to go up a size.
We are also in the middle of the regression and the dummt is driving me insane!!! At times we havent even left the room yet and it is back out! We tried not giving it to him at one point the other night but he literally whinged for 45 minutes! Does ur wee boy not get annoyed at not having it and if he does what do u do?.
He definitely takes a lot longer to get to sleep without it! But after holding out for 20 mins he’s *usually* fine, but not always! It’s hard isn’t it!!

Aww thank you so much for your lovely comment! All Mummas should be proud of themselves, we’re smashing the baby business haha!! Xxxx
Omg love your videos they are helping me so much, I'm due in Feb and I can't wait for my little boy, hope mine sleeps for 11 hours 😂

Love your videos! I am trying to teach my baby girl to fall asleep by herself. She only falls asleep being rocked ...
What should I do when he wakes for a dummy at night??? Xx
OK well our baby girl Tambra-Lynn is in the 4 month sleep regression too, gonna ditch the binky! Fingers crossed!

Try not give up once you have started it as he will need to go back and start again
Hi. Great video Did u let him cry for the 20mims without the dummy?
Its definitely the hardest sleep regression! But at least you know what to do when the next few come ❤️ consistent routine is always key 💕 x
Completely agree!! Xxx
