I’ve been using clove water since March and ever since I found out I was pregnant on Christmas Eve it’s been a blessing trust me but I broke down when I realized how much hair I was losing wasn’t use to losing that much hair being pregnant for the first time so much emotions was going on. But reading up on this few months ago I bought some organic cloves on Amazon and put 2 tablespoons in a mason jar had it sit out for a while 24hrs now I’m letting it sit out for like 48-72hrs. I know some ppl on RUclips that does it for 30 days. Best everyday hair hydration ever!! Using black tea, rosemary, ginger, and cloves is something else I want to infuse as well for more benefit with all the properties these natural ingredients promote for your hair in general as well. But using cloves since March of this year I kept it up in box braids I’m doing my box braids every 2 weeks I’m pregnant as ever and can’t stand it but love it at the same time. The darkness of my natural hair color came back, thickness came back, shedding very minimal like whos shedding? Who’s that gurl lol

@@missnishab4659 greetings unto you. Oil rinses are usually done on wash day. It's the last item done before you style. Oil rinsing feeds your strands & seals your hair cuticles. This allows your strands to retain moisture too. You can feed your hair based on the oil your hair receives. Curly Chemistry teaches all about different oils & butters. Research what nutrients your strands will receive.
Hi thank you for your knowledge❣️ To your Question, I often try to do "tea" rinse on my hair last part of washing. I use peppermint leaves, a small amount of rosmary tea, jasmine, green tea, geranium, cloves, and hibiscus flower may put in almond oil. I warm it, strain, pour of my head over a large basin scoop up more pour over again. I don't use all at once I switch it up 3-5 of these herbs 3× a month. It feels great smoothes MY hairhas nice fragrance. It's not difficult now that i'm good at it🤗 Thanx for ur time💓💐
I have been trying to find something for my natural hair since going natural for about two years now. will give an update if it works for me. I have blended it with rosemary and Jamaican black castor oil First time to your channel
Me too!!! As I am makes jbco water, and I add clove to the water...loving it!!! Also added some more oils because I read clove can be drying, and my hair is already super thick, and dry...4c here for about 6 years......and loving it!!!
Hi.. Never tried Using it on my hair. Just on ham with honey and brown sugar 😋 Never used a tea rinse but heard of it.. I'm going to try this mixture out for one month..thank you much God bless you 🙏🏽 💞💞💞
I've been using rosemary and clove water about 1-2x a week for a month. I haven't been monitoring my hair growth but I noticed that my scalp did not itch like it used to for the whole month. I was able to get away with washing my hair just once a month without any unbearable itching. I make a very small amount and discard after the second use at most.
I make a small amount of cloves and rosemary with fenugreek and spritz my hair daily for a week. I can get away with not washing for 2 weeks sometimes 3. The scent of the mixture is so pleasant and the scalp is clean and fresh. My twist are elastic and juicy. This is the rinse for me. I need to journal my growth now. A big plus is there is hardly any shedding!! Even after a week, there is barely 50 strands shed.
I use about half a teaspoon of cloves, half a teaspoon of rosemary then pour in about 50 to 100 ml of hot (just boiled) water. Then I allow to sit for about 6 hours before transferring to a spray bottle. I spray 2 to 3x a week, making sure both my scalp and hair are moisturised with the liquid then I seal with a little leave in. I rub the leave in in my palms and squeeze into my hair and I don't let it get on to my scalp as much as possible to avoid itching. I keep the mixture refridgerated and discard and remake weekly. Shedding: I'm not sure that this has prevented Shedding for me but I can say that I haven't experienced any abnormal amount of Shedding while using this mixture. I used to add fenugreek but stopped cuz it dries out my hair with frequent use.
You look so so pretty with your hair like that. I had been thinking about trying cloves for a while but forgot about it, but now that You made a video about it, I'm definitely trying it.
I have a garden and I used my garden herbs to make parsley, oregano, peppermint and lemon balm hair rinses for myself. I usually add an essential oil with it.
Hi lovee, i try the clove rins by it's own, and did not help much. Butttt, i try it with my Fenugreek and Aloe. Wow wow wow. My hair grew like crazyyyy🙏🙏🙏🥰🥰🥰🥰
I made a conditioning spray of green tea, hibiscus tea, a bit of ginger, fresh rosemary, clove oil and peppermint oil and glycerin. For a shampoo day detangler I added ACV.

I already started using cloves a month ago and this video makes me feel like I am doing something right. I watched one of your videos about a year ago where you talked about conditioners and leave-ins having almost the same structure and since then I have been using conditioners as leave-ins. I made a video about it where I used 16 seconds clip from your video and I want to know if you don't mind me doing that. Great video as usual
I started using this famous spice called CLOVES and yes ladies I did see a difference in less than a week. Am spritzing my scalp twice a week with cloves& fenugreek in water. On the second day whilst spraying n detangling my hair breakage was almost 0 and my hair shedding was also less as well. I’ll be incorporating this for the entire month and see how it goes. 🙏 It also makes my scalp less itchy.
Clove and rosemary spritz post shampoo and conditioning. Use it as your final rinse and then put a leave in and a sealing oil. Watch your retention kick in not to mention growth. Be consistent.
I have using cloves for over a year. It has been a joyous time for my strands. The scent is a plus. I brew with orange or citrus peels. Cloves are good for your health too. Research for yourself - Ayurveda healthy eating. Thanks for the video.

Love this video!!! ❤️❤️ Yes!!! I just bought some cloves. I am going to use it as a spritz on my hair. I have been hearing about this for awhile now. This video is confirmation to use cloves. I use aloe vera, fenugreek, peppermint oil, pumpkin seed oil and rosemary on my hair. I use it as a pre-poo. And I also do oil rinses. I haven't tried any tea's on my hair though. Thank you for sharing! Love and Light to you Curly Chemistry and everyone here.❤️❤️🙏🙏☮️☮️
I’ve been using a clove, rosemary tea for a few months now and my hair absolutely loves it! I must confess that I’ve been on a DIY Ayurvedic kick now for about a year but I’ve seen a real change in my growth/retention rate as well as the thickness of my hair at the root since incorporating this tea. I also use it as the liquid in my Ayurvedic hair masks and a mid week spritz to re moisturize, definitely a game changer for my fine strands. I was thinking about adding cloves to my black rice water for an added benefit of making the smell more pleasant. Do you think that mix would be ok?
I use it every single morning (cloves water/rosemary water/peppermint oil). Working great! I've had thinned out edges for years and I'm seeing baby hairs coming in since using it only after three weeks!!!
@@sharonwilliams1361 typically 8 hours on low overnight, make sure to put water in your crock pot at the bottom and a towel to protect your glass jar of oil, I just use a mason jar. Also make sure NO WATER gets into your oil, especially if your hands are ever wet, it will contaminate your oil

I have been using spritz for years my fav is aloe peppermint rosemary fenugreek lil oil mix and distilled water with msm. Idk that its helped with length or thickness bcus both have been stuntedfor a few yrs now. Especially my thickness. However my hair feels very moisturized. I have tried green tea years ago and will try cloves this week. I really want my thickness back.
Loved this video.... I know cloves have been trending for a minute now, I just don't like em, them smell, the taste just makes my stomach spin. My family has been cooking with them since I was a kid. But my fav's for my tea rinses are: ( I use them after I shampoo and b4 I apply my DC) I use dandelion, hibiscus, green tea, amla, fenugreek, aloe powder, henna, shikakai, aritha, neem, and rose petals and other ayurverdic herbs that I can't remember at the moment. I just make a big batch and freeze it in ice trays. Take a few cubs out on wash day, heat em up and heat up the dc. I use to spritz a couple times a week but it seems to be drying for my hair so the wash day tea rinses are the best for me. Can't wait to see ur up coming tea rinse video ;^)

I've used henna, fenugreek, hibiscus, rosemary and amla. All really effective for the strength and growth of my hair.
Yes it works! I used it for a month and I seen amazing results
Thank you as always!!
Presently, I use Hibiscus+Rosemary+Black tea+Bayleaf as final tea rinse.
My hair loves the combo.
👍💯💯💯
Yes I started using clove water. I mixed the water with a vitamin E and tree tea oil. My hair is getting thicker and my bald spot is shrinking
Yay!! Thank you for sharing! 💃🏾 💃🏾💃🏾
Hi yes i do use tea rinses and spritz/leave-in. I of course use cloves now in a blend i do with nettle, rosemary, horsetail, calendula. So far so good it working to help with my overall hair health.
Sounds like one of my recipes minus the Calendula, I have yet to buy it. Health growing hair makes a HAPPY lady❗ ☺️
Yes to hair rinses/spritzes:
Green tea / coffee / hibiscus/ matcha/ slippery elm / rosemary are bases.
Additives of choice fenugreek, aloe, neem, horsetail, chamomile, cloves, sage, Irish moss. I keep a journal & rotate base & switch up Additives. The 5 star items are green tea & matcha fav Additives rosemary, cloves, fenugreek & aloe. The hair rinse along with oil rinses are game changers.
Yess to everything you just said! Oil rinses and tea rinses?! Next level results for your hair.
Oil rinses? 🤔
Wow.. I do agree with you. I need to keep a proper journal and document my journey
Can u use it as a leave in with the slippery elm
This is something I will do. I am mostly grey and it may pick up the color of the clover juice. We will see. 🤗
It's not difficult now that i'm good at it🤗 Thanx for ur time💓💐
I love that mix especially the peppermint and jasmine! 🥰
I have been trying to find something for my natural hair since going natural for about two years now. will give an update if it works for me. I have blended it with rosemary and Jamaican black castor oil
First time to your channel
Me too!!! As I am makes jbco water, and I add clove to the water...loving it!!! Also added some more oils because I read clove can be drying, and my hair is already super thick, and dry...4c here for about 6 years......and loving it!!!
Hi..
Never tried Using it on my hair. Just on ham with honey and brown sugar 😋
Never used a tea rinse but heard of it..
I'm going to try this mixture out for one month..thank you much God bless you 🙏🏽 💞💞💞
I started using the clove juice this week. I love love love the smell of it. It reminds me of Jamaica. Anyway, I'll check back and let know.
I love the smell too!
In the 1980s, I used to use
stinging nettle tea for dandruff.
Yes to the tea spritz, combination of hibiscus, clove, rosemary and black seed. Your hair s really beatiful.
What about shedding?
Thanks because I have itching issues and just started cloves last week
I make a small amount of cloves and rosemary with fenugreek and spritz my hair daily for a week. I can get away with not washing for 2 weeks sometimes 3. The scent of the mixture is so pleasant and the scalp is clean and fresh. My twist are elastic and juicy. This is the rinse for me. I need to journal my growth now. A big plus is there is hardly any shedding!! Even after a week, there is barely 50 strands shed.
Thank you. My itchy scalp needs this. How much rosemary and clove water. You used. How many times a week. Did you sprayed it on the scalp. Thanks
I use the hibiscus tea as a spritz. Definitely softens the hair.
Yes! Hibiscus is bomb!
I have a garden and I used my garden herbs to make parsley, oregano, peppermint and lemon balm hair rinses for myself. I usually add an essential oil with it.
I love drinking clove tea! The warmest, comforting spice to rest with!
What kind of cloves? Can you drink red clover tea?
@@miamayamo whatever is sold ar groceries stores. The cloves i buy are dark brown
What is the taste?? Was thinking about drinking some of my brew that I make,,if any left.over
@@dianethompson96 its a very warm and earthy taste, similar to cinnamon but without the spice
By drinking the clover tea, did you see hair growth?
I recently tried boiling cloves, cinnamon & garlic. Then, I added coconut oil & it's working quite well. I use it as a spritz onto my scalp
👍
Another lovely Friday with one of my faves. Thank you for the information. Have a great weekend!
Aww thank you sis! ☺️
I have CCCA and I started soaking fennel and rice in rainwater. I’m going to add cloves today and continue to spritz weekly. Thank you beautiful 🙏🏾
love a good tea rinse! current stash includes hibiscus, rosemary, lemongrass, neem, and green tea
Great mix! I look forward to talking about these on the herbal tea rinse hair video coming up.
@@CurlyChemistry please talk about Moringa too?
Hi lovee, i try the clove rins by it's own, and did not help much. Butttt, i try it with my Fenugreek and Aloe. Wow wow wow. My hair grew like crazyyyy🙏🙏🙏🥰🥰🥰🥰
Interesting! There may be some synergy there. :-)
Adriana, I have used all three and add two oils to seal the moisture because I live in SC and the humidity here sucks my hair dry in two days.
I just started using the clove and rosemary tea on my hair because it started thinning since I had Covid-19’s
That’s a great combination! ☺️
How is it going? I'm experiencing the same thing due to covid
I literally made a clove, fenugreek, and green tea sprits yesterday. 🥰🥰🥰
I made a conditioning spray of green tea, hibiscus tea, a bit of ginger, fresh rosemary, clove oil and peppermint oil and glycerin. For a shampoo day detangler I added ACV.
I have learned so much from this channel. Thank you Tonya! 💞
Hi greetings love ❤️ all ur vetoes and thank u so much, yes I do use herbal hair tea in my hair ,I do a mixture of over 15 herbs 🌿 and it's been working ,I just haven't been consistent, and so.etimes I do try to do lavender, black tea and rosemary at nights to help with the melatonin from then to put me to bed,I drink as tea and then spray my hair lightly to go to sleep ,the herbal tea rinse when I have time I used every 2 days ,God bless ur heart ❤️
Thank you for sharing Chantal! ☺️
Never clicked so fast. LOL thank you for bringing us this information from the Chemist side. Love it!
Yes I make moringa tea and use it as a spray and massage in my scalp. I make hibiscus tea and use as a hydration spray
It also makes my scalp less itchy.
Clove and rosemary spritz post shampoo and conditioning. Use it as your final rinse and then put a leave in and a sealing oil. Watch your retention kick in not to mention growth. Be consistent.
I must say it works but always use a leave-in or moisturiser after because it can get your hair dry
Sooo true
And turn some of my strands a brownish color
@@cassandrabrooks1890 I thk it can disappear in ur weekly wash
Gosh yes it do!!! But I moisture very well
I have using cloves for over a year. It has been a joyous time for my strands. The scent is a plus. I brew with orange or citrus peels. Cloves are good for your health too. Research for yourself - Ayurveda healthy eating. Thanks for the video.
Thank you for sharing! ☺️
@@CurlyChemistry - you are another You Tuber that made living through the pandemic worth while. Thanks for always building me & my family up. Knowledge is vital & key.
Yes I also put a few in my herbal teas
@L R-H Thank you so much!! I'm so glad you're here! 😊
Cloves definitely regrow hair. I lost edges and ai think it was post partum. I one week I saw new growth on the perimeter. I don't do tea rinses but I would love a video on this topic. Your videos are always so informative it's a pleasure watching your content 👏🏾💕
Love and Light to you Curly Chemistry and everyone here.❤️❤️🙏🙏☮️☮️
I use rosemary for my hair and clove
Did this help with your hair growth?
Diy clove oil is great too. You will need a grinder. Just do the double boiler method.
How many days does a batch of clove water last before it goes bad?
I use black tea, very effective for shedding
I have been using green tea/hibiscus rinse for a few months. I love it! It helps stop shedding and itching. Love your content, BTW.
I am happy that you are now giving actual ways to use the products. I wish that you do it for all future videos. a quick recipe
I've stared with black tea
I'm 50 and my hair is thinning
I've always had thick 3c hair. I can't wait to try a clove rinse!
That mix sounds great to me!
I use it every single morning (cloves water/rosemary water/peppermint oil). Working great! I've had thinned out edges for years and I'm seeing baby hairs coming in since using it only after three weeks!!!
Yes.
@@iaaeottg21 same here!!!!! Yaaah us!!!
Clove oil is good for toothaches as well, add a few drops to olive oil and put on hurting tooth
Love cloves, I add it to my hair growth oil I create using my crockpot. It infuses so nicely! I’ve definitely seen the benefits!
How long do you let it infuse in the crock pot?
@@sharonwilliams1361 typically 8 hours on low overnight, make sure to put water in your crock pot at the bottom and a towel to protect your glass jar of oil, I just use a mason jar. Also make sure NO WATER gets into your oil, especially if your hands are ever wet, it will contaminate your oil
I’ve started using a Cloves with some fresh Rosemary as a hair spritz and a tablespoon of JaHaitian (Jamaican and Haitian) black castor oil! My hair is loving it! Definitely noticed the moisture and hair growth 😊👍🏾
I also like your braids - could I ask what braid hair you used to create the look? ☺️
What’s difference between Jamaican and Haitian castor oil?
same omg
@@Macmaniaaa I think the Haitian is more potent but basically the same
@@pmonpl ok thanks for replying ❤️
I use this same tea without the oil, i just add glycerin and use as spritz
As I sit here with homemade clove oil & Glove deep conditioner in my hair. My heart smiles 🥰. Could you do a video on what product to use when we are at the beaches & pools. I know the salt water & chlorine are harsh on our natural hair. Thank you.
I also heard the clove is working well for salt water
Used organic rosemary cloves and rosemary leaves combination to make a tea. Let it steep in the fridge for a week and rinsed with the cold tea solution . Man it felt like a deep purifying scalp massage. Thank you. Brothers are taking note also.
Zanzibar in Tanzania is a big producer of cloves we get them everywhere in our country so this is a great mine for my hair right now! Thank you so much for sharing!
I use green tea rinses to help with losing a lot of hair on wash day it slows hair loss down a lot after 1 use
Everyone talking about clove. I’m happy I been using them now for about 4 months.
Hybiscus flower rinse. It's also in my shampoo.
Yes. I’ve been using hibiscus and cloves single applications and mixed together. Also sometimes I use Prekese as a rinse
I was literally reading about a clove/rosemary spritz and it was intriguing. I would love to see a video on various rinses and spritz recipes. Thanks!
Just bought cloves can't wait to try and look forward to the tea rinses thank you for the information
Hope you enjoy! :-)
Yes, I use organic green tea for hair rinse. I have seen results but would like to see even more.
I love cloves for my hair. I have tried rosemary rinse but I wasn't consistent.
I use cloves, rosemary, fenugreek, peppermint, nettle, green tea, black tea, and aloe Vera juice. Sometimes I combine. Some of them are wash day only.
Yes cloves and rosemary
I have been using spritz for years my fav is aloe peppermint rosemary fenugreek lil oil mix and distilled water with msm. Idk that its helped with length or thickness bcus both have been stuntedfor a few yrs now. Especially my thickness. However my hair feels very moisturized.
I have tried green tea years ago and will try cloves this week.
I really want my thickness back.
My favorite tea rinses are green tea and hibiscus.
Yes! I’m just getting into green tea now. It’s been great so far.
yes oolong tea, green tea, black tea, and a few others. Nappy Fu has a lists of tea rinses. I mix mine with rice water
Yes, I currently do a Clove tea. That's been my thing lately. But I have done Fenugreek tea, Hibiscus/green tea, henna tea.
I use Hibiscus, Green tea, guava, fenugreek and Rosemary.
That mix sounds amazing! 🥰
I have Ecoslay Ginger and Moringa Tea waiting for me to try on my next wash day
I use green tea and black tea. I bought some hair teas from vendors I'm trying out
Loved this video....
I was hoping that you would cover this topic and give your educated opinion regarding cloves. I’m sold…cloves are in my hair care regimen
I’ve been waiting for you to address this topic. Thanx, Curly Girly!
You are so welcome!
