Hey, then try it, go on! And let us know how it was working with them. I bought also a new brush and its really much better for painting on big areas with the one inch brush. I pefer calligraphy brushes also very much for details and lines.

You are an amazing artist and teacher! I have a question? Does the calligraphy brush has a strong smell? Because I bought one an smell super strong almost like a skunk. I know this is a weird question but I’m new in watercolor. Thanks.
Frances, when you said that you purchased a calligraphy brush, did you purchase one from Yong? I have purchased more than six and have never found either brush to have an odor. Both Yong's brushes are made from goat or sheep hair.

Hi Lauri! Thanks for responding. No, I bought it at Hobby lobby, a craft store.
@@franceslazu1784 Please consider buying the brushes from Yong. He endorsed these only after many, many trials with similar brushes that didn't do what he needed. Calligraphy brush not clickerty brush (there's no such of thing). Pronounced Calli-grafy. In English ph sounds like the letter f. Just trying to help. Awesome painting.
