You can actually here the influence of several U2 songs in this song, but two U2 songs from this one song here very specifically. In the first few seconds of the studio version of this song you can hear where the Edge gets the sound for the beginning of the song Zooropa. But also this song has the unmistakably same guitar notes as Ultraviolet, especially towards the end of the song.

Got chills hearing this... have SHINE playing in the background. Was looking for this song O/L to share with a friend... I will admit (publicly) I will play this song and "softly sing along" I Love You... to one of my cats as a bonding moment... she listens... I think 'knows the song', for certain the lyrics and emotion or embodiment, will sit and purr to this particular song, while I love on her... [I realize, probably sounds foolish] It is a great song.
