I love your idea of keeping the plan easy. When I try not to eat bread or sugar, I wind up stressing about it so much that it makes me need those carbs to fight the anxiety. Also I am lazy so trying to count calories or points or anything has never worked for me. I am so busy with everything else, I need to keep food simple. These are great ideas, thanks!
I am on OMAD since 4 days, and I am losing weight and I feel I am doing the right thing (ADF was somehow difficult for me, as I didn’t knew exactly how to eat. With OMAD the things are much easier.) I am 61, sport teacher, 1,82 cm and I began with 88, 3 kg, now I am at 86,6. My goal is 79 or lower (I have strong muscles), and there is nothing in the world that will make me break the program until I reached my goal . After this I will probably still go on with OMAD, but perhaps with two meals Sunday. I don’t know. Yesterday was kind of tricky, as at dinner I didn’t have enough protein and had more carbs than I usually eat. I didn’t feel really that I ate enough, and I didn’t have time to prepare a steak, as I agreed to play tennis at 7 pm. When I came back home after playing tennis I knew I will have a difficult day next day. Today I was really looking forward to have dinner, and I definitely had too much. Healthy food, but too much. On the other hand, I did a lot of physical activity in the last days, so probably I just needed the calories. Anyway, I see now that I have to plan carefully my meal. I am still learning how to do OMAD, but I am confident that I will be able to regulate my weight in the future. Thanks for the video!
I Love your Fiesta wear! Its my favorite too. 😊 .... new to your channel, and like it even more just for the Fiesta😄.. really love the easy, and even loving way that you explain things. God bless you 🤗
It’s amazing how huge plates have gotten. I now use 7” plates. I’m never left over full, and often, if I think I’m still hungry, by the time I cook and serve a second portion, I don’t want it. Yesterday, I procrastinated so long, I went to bed with my leftover breakfast for dinner. I was busy all day, and I was too lazy to stop to eat, and I wasn’t hungry. I have no need to bribe myself to take the stairs. I don’t like being trapped in an elevator with strangers. Even when I was forced to use a walker because I was so sick, I would still take the stairs. But, at the same time, I would park my truck directly next to the door to walk into the store for a bag of carrots. Now, I generally walk to the store, and home, and my motivation is to save fuel.
I use the laziness to my advantage too. When I am feeling hungry, especially if I don't know what I want to eat, I will hold off on food until I do want something specific and am ready to make it. I also tell myself, okay I will get food in 30 minutes. Usually before that time I am no longer hungry and/or forget about food for a bit longer. I should try giving myself a set time for seconds too so I don't go back for more right away, or make myself drink a hole glass of water before getting seconds.
Hi, I was so excited to find your channel today! I’m doing intermittent fasting, just started a couple of days ago. I just began watching your channel this morning and subscribed. So excited to watch the entire videos, and your others!
GREAT VIDEO, keep it up! I hate to do ANY housework, especially in the summer. I take a carboard box from my recycle bin, rip with my bare hands a piece. Whatever size I get is my plate 4 dinner, sops up grease from chicken or chorizo as I eat. NO Clean up afterwards, return soiled cardboard segment to trash/recycle! Sip an adult beverage instead of loading dishwasher and wasting electricity and water.... ; p
Thanks for the video. For getting healthy and weight loss, I use “procrastination”, and a very low carb diet 😊. It has worked wonders. Do I ever “bribe” myself? Yes! But not with food items. I use gardening and reading instead. I hope the garden doesn’t end up with too many rose plants 😂😂.
1. Smaller plate size 2.intermitent fasting 3.power of procrastination 4.reward yoourself generously (not with food) 5. Choose more physical options. Walking instead of driving to the place etc.
So..my question is how do u get past the head hunger u know those little voices that want to sabotage ur weight loss. My brain says "u need that donut" and Yesss I surely do but it's a struggle everyday and just can't get past it no matter how much I stay busy how much I exercise or how much water I drink
My best recommendation is fat. I've lost half of my goal and the thing that keeps me from eating when I shouldn't is high fat in the meal. Avocado, dark meat and pork are your friend.
One thing that helps me is asking myself “do I want the donut or do I want more energy/look better/less pain/better health/cuter clothes/etc etc whatever goals motivate you. Because it is surely an either/or choice. Every time.
@Brett Mason Media. I am a non-theist Quaker who has just as many works of art hanging on my wall from many different traditions, pre-dominately Catholic. I AM NOT even a christian, some works of art are inspirational based on their composition and facial expression. Our brains can sort of 2k distinct faces, we are hard wired to recognize a friend or foe from their facial expression. IT IS NOT learned behavior, we had it b4 we had language. BUY ART that makes you lower your cortisol, daily glimpses will release dopamine and make your weight loss easier. NOT wuwu hippy crap, it is SCIENCE.
Start by eating 2-3 times a day. No snacks. Then get rid of sugar…sugar is in everything. Eat fresh food, organic food, healthy food that you prepare yourself. Once you are a week or two without sugar, it is easy to eat 1-2 meals a day. Drink only water and tea and coffee. Walk more.
@@morganfalkdesigns i started with 2 meals a day & it didnt really work. Then i wanted to get after it i started walking 3-6 miles a day & eating once a day. After 3 weeks the weight is coming off and my stomach is getting noticeably smaller. Your body will get used to eating less after a week or so. And if you have a liquid calorie problem, i would suggest drinking diet or sugar free. Good luck!
Say bismillah, then just start to leave foods out, put a bit less on your plate and gradually add better habits ....and make dua to start eating better and in every dua include the request for help in it to go smoothly.

Oh my goodness, I see your icon corner! Are you Orthodox? I'm Greek Orthodox, for 4 yrs now. I love it, it is home. Love all your videos!
Love your icons and crucifixes. I’m a Catholic homeschooling mom of 5 and just found your channel ❤
I LOL'd at the procrastination trick! One thing I've literally NEVER delayed is eating!
I love your icons. We're Catholic. So happy I found your channel.

Plus, I feel like counting calories, extreme meal planning, etc., make me fixate on food, which is the opposite of what I need in my life.
I love the idea of utilizing our natural laziness. I have been watching your channel for a couple years now. Thank you for keeping things simple!

Do you have a list? I just knew the 4th one
1. Smaller plate size
2.intermitent fasting
3.power of procrastination
4.reward yoourself generously (not with food)

I remind myself that its a deception. It will not bring me happiness in the long run. And how it makes me feel yucky after consuming it.
What Ron Jones said in the comments under your comment: fat.
Go ‘Noles!
Are you Orthdodox? So am I !!!😂
Good common sense advice.
My dinner plates are huuuuuuge. I figure if i can fit it on the plate, it counts as the 1 meal haha
How do you walk and watch a movie / TV show?😂
Wow that’s a lot of religious imagery in the background.
I'm guessing she's a part of the Eastern Orthodox Church. Maybe Catholic.
