Kayla, I know you don’t read your comments anymore but perhaps your husband will see this and let you know. The free spreadsheet download with the 7 day rolling average is the BOMB…such an encouragement when the scale isn’t doing a lot but that rolling average is still trending down. Thank you for all you do…you’re such a blessing to all of us!
Your videos are so down to earth...I can really relate to them. I have been intermittent fasting since Jan 1. I was pretty successful at first and by the end of March I could really tell that the change in my eating schedule had become a habit. It was normal. Lately I have been getting hungry earlier and earlier in the day and yesterday all hell broke loose. I started eating around 11am and continued all afternoon...in rebellion I guess. I am so glad to see this video this morning to help to remind me to get back up on the horse and carry on. I have a long way to go and I understand that it will take a long time but I can't give up.
I weigh daily my weight fluctuates so much i fast around 17 hours a day i have never eaten in a fasting window . After ten months i have lost twentyone pounds , im not very active my health is not great but i feel positive just for trying to make a change .
In terms of arguing with the scale...I weigh daily also. Before weighing I try to predict what the number is going to be that day. I try to be as honest as I can to see how close I can get. It helps me evaluate what I did the day before and what the results were. It helps with accountability. The mind game helps me.
Just subscribed. How tall are you. I am 5ft . I am 12 stone. 76kg 167 lbs I was 223 lbs. I have to get my bmi to 25. I have lymphedema. Please tell us your bmi as well as your height. It is so relevant. Well done you. Congratulations
I am trying so hard but it seems to have stalled, i hope it starts back up again. I know for s fact I'm not over eating, as a matter of fact if i eat until I'm full them i lack the calories i need to feel well. That's weird right?
No because you could weigh more on the second Friday of two Fridays in a row and think you’re not making progress but if you looked at the weekly average, you would see you did lose

How accurate are you? When I’m honest I find I’m very accurate!
Been weighing in daily for years! Started intermittent fasting last week and it's working out well : )
Plateauing for three months and gained back eight pounds. Plan to still do 16:8.
Thanks for the good advice Kayla..
Kayla thank you for this video. I needed it!
Great video, Kayla!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!
That hit the nail on the head.

Ok I understand figuring out a weekly average vs daily scale reading. But isn’t it the same as comparing the number every Friday?
Download her free spreadsheet…it has a 7 day rolling average which really is encouraging since our weight fluctuates daily!

I guess when you do it every day you get info about the impact certain foods have on the scale
What do u weigh yourself?
Stop using the scale......start using the mirror or how your clothes fit!!!
Good basic common sense info.
