Love these exercises videos with J.M. Blakley! It also reminds a bit of John Meadows intense bodybuilding techniques. Imagine them training together...
@@TY-gh2yf Initially yeah. See how well you recover for your next session. Begin adding sets as you need. I feel like it teaches you how to push hard (not that training should always be super hard)
Nice, JM nailed it! That's what most people don't get with respect to HIT: You are not taking a shortcut (and not trying to). No magic bullet. Instead, it's a tradeoff: More pain, effort and DOMS for less time (spent) in the gym. It's that simple. It's like the gym version of the law(s) of thermodynamics.
It doesn't take a lot to really fry the muscles if the technique/intensity/effort is HIGH ! But you CAN'T make up for superfluous work with more volume either despite what many think .
Camera missed some of the explanation, not sure why that happened. So you can focus entirely on one machine, no follow up with other movements or is the muscle just done? Going to try this for myself Monday (Y)
Is this supposed to be used as the complete workout, through a training block? Or is it better to use as an occasional workout, to be included just periodically?
I play the video and try to get everything as similar as possible, like when he does the loaded negatives i put an extra plate on and swing the weight up
I ask JM about the 36 system it works for me. However my body my job I can’t replenish with food been in law enforcement in Nyc in an extremely busy command. Is nearly impossible. However the question was whether his 36 system is dealing with numbers considering the universe and mathematics. Well just do the Knowledge on 3 6 9. And the number 36. He said is NOT THE SOPHISTICATED. LOL. GREAT STUFF THANK YOU GUYS.
The only problem with this is in my opinion is the back is made up of a lot of muscles. You can row low to get lats or row high to get more the rhomboids. Positioning yourself a little differently will target a different area.
I love JM but he's starting to get around the 8 min lats and 10 min abs and so on. I just don't see how Dorian Yates spent only 8 minutes training back.
Well, I can't imagine he truly only would reccomend just 8 minutes on back. That was just Lats. I could be completely wrong on this, and that's a possibility. But my thought is that there are a bunch of muscles in the back, so perhaps, this training style could be implemented, for 3 or 4 different back exercises. So you spend half an hour or so but only do 3 or 4 incredibly hard sets, plus, there were warmup sets to feel out the weight that can add to the volume as well. Again, I could be wrong, but that's how I see it
Just because you slow down your rate of speech and lower your voice it doesn't make you metaphysical. His pseudo psychology on the last 3 videos has been laughable at best.
In one corner, we have a stickman, who adds nothing of value to neither the discussion nor the world of lifting. In the other corner, we have a legendary bencher who shares information for free, for anyone to test in a cycle to see if it works for them, and a different practical and mental approach to the usual "hurrdurrr 5x5" which might very well benefit many people. Maybe have some respect for what these meatheads are sharing and being a little more open minded.
Bugenhagen + JM video. Stick De La Thicc would destroy this. Metaphysical meathead meets MINDSET

T-Shirt Idea: There is no end...There is just more...
Fuck yeah
I absolutely enjoy the way JM explains everything.
Awesome info!! Thx J.M. and Elite FTS!
I've been doing this recently :) Definitely teaches you what training hard actually is. Provides an awesome stimulus as well
Do you literally just do one set and that’s it for the session ?

I see JM in title I click like 💪
That's like a Tom Platz style he did for legs

Love the meta training
Tittle sounds like a Bugenhagen video.
I'd love to see an 80s/ Richard Simmons style workout video guided by JMB, DT and JM. How do we monitize you so you do this lol?

Oh thank god JM is ready for this.
I thought Dorian Yates was intense😄that guy was hanging in there pretty good💪
J.M being out of breath after the set...

I am loving these! 😁
They had me at metaphysical meathead💪🏼
Ooo I felt that when you pushed his elbow when it was only half into that rep.
Camera missed some of the explanation, not sure why that happened.

Not all superhero’s wear capes.
JM almost got his head knocked off xD, risky bidness
Love this stuff!! How would you implement this type of training if you train alone?
I play the video and try to get everything as similar as possible, like when he does the loaded negatives i put an extra plate on and swing the weight up
Awesome! Thanks mate 👍
I had to buy the shirt JM is wearing.
I think he had a little more in him. Drop another plate, keep going! 🤘🏼
Bugenhagen & JM Blakley together please!!
Why do I hear boss music? - V-Shred
Is there a training plan JM has?

Some of my life goals include training with JM and training at the elitefts compound. Just gotta get stronger cant let them see me like this...
Quality over quantity

Sex noises from 5.08 onwards
Seems like a good way to tear a muscle
JM could have been a ASMR sensation but he prefer to be the bench press king instead
Suprised a meat head knows what metaphysical means 😅
Just watching that set makes me want to puke. Time to hit the iron

Looks like the trainer more winded than the trainee….. what’s that tell ya?

But you still gonna torture yourself and watch every video with him. Typical hater

You could actually go watch the Table Talk podcasts with JM and learn that he actually studies metaphysical concepts.
