I love this, what a view from the balcony! I also really like the decorative touches, like the wind chimes. I think the way the smaller branches come up through the balcony, is kinda cool, almost like an outdoor version of a potted plant. It's funny, I've seen a few treehouses IRL (and every few years, the city kicks out homeless people who build them high up in huge trees in the park because they say it's a "public hazard") but I hadn't thought about having my own treehouse in FO76. Very cunning idea, I'm excited to try it. Oh -- and I like to have all my boards facing the same way too. Something about that aesthetic. 😄

I've built quite a few camps in trees and electrical towers. It is quite tricky to get everything just right. One of my current tree camps is near Morgantown, not far from Mama Dolce. Nice job on your camp, it looks good.
I love all your builds. These are all like 2 years ago and I love them all. I tried this one actually just a few minutes ago and they must have patched putting stuff into trees because I can't get it to work. Darn it. I'll have to find some other place that I can build around a tree 😭

I'm on PS4 and have those same stash boxes. One of those is meant to be on a wall but it won't stick and instead only wants to snap halfway in the floor 😂

I find a place to do a larger build like this a few weeks ago on the other side of the map as i built my sons base for him as he wanted a tree house an got lucky as i find 3 trees with the same spacing between them. Plus turret defend better with some height to there placement even managed to hide two small generators so he's got power to run his small water purifier an a few lights. Told him to build a small room on top if he needs more power in the future. it's a good idea just put some traps at the base of the stairs as ghouls still manage to get up them if left open.

One is a treehouse that goes up pretty high, the other is a treehouse village. Both of them are in the Mire. Check them out for some possible inspiration for the expanded treehouse builds.
I just started playing the game within the last month and absolutely loved this idea and wanted to recreate something like it, but apparently they patched the clipping into pre existing objects 🙁 super sad now lol..
I am so glad to find your tiny treehouse as I don't like how every youtube vid shows how to build a standard basic big and bulky bulky cabin/fort which i don't like.

just south of flatwoods is a great single tree. There is a steal deposit and two boxes that spawn a stem pack and gas can. Its a great beginning game spot and good for the new vending as well.
I had to laugh when I saw you start to build and you already had the first piece already in place. I remember someone suggested on your discord that you should do that to save yourself some frustration. Who was it who suggested that ? Oh yea it was me. All joking aside it is a very ingenious build.
I actually started recording without the foundation in place, but I could not get it in the right position in a decent amount of time, since there was nothing to line it up with. I will still be showing people how to line up other builds in the future when necessary ;-)

I built a camp in the pylon... It turned out great, I would like the ability to have a base camp and a tent system as well so you could have a permanent base and a travel sleeping arrangement
Yeah, unfortunately a recent patch change the rules of item collisions, making this build extremely difficult, if not impossible, to accomplish. Oh the joys of building in an online game!

@@Alexandru7o No, you won't lose all your items. You'll drop all your junk items in a paper sack and then you can go back and retrieve them. But you won't drop any gear or chems or anything like that.

Most of the bugs from the early days have been fixed. It's a much better game now.

I found one in the forest too. It was built in multiple trees with rope bridges connecting them. I wish we could build bridges in our camps.

There's only one item in the atomic shop that is consumable. Everything else is cosmetic
