Thankyou so much for this tutorial! I have now made two hats, one navy and maroon the other black and red, both beautiful and a lot more feminine than a beanie. This was the first crochet hat that I have attempted, it was both quick and easy.

I added 2 extra rows and pinned the brim with a 2 inch button. Also, I did not change colors for the band since I used 2 different colors to make the hat. It looks like tweed actually. Thank-you! I loved this tutorial and my new hat!🥰
Personally I prefer a high thickness for my winter hats, also because the brim remains stiffer. However, it is possible to make the same hat even with a single yarn and a smaller crochet, clearly it will take several additional rounds to obtain the same measurements
I have started making this hat and it is way to big for my head so how do I start from the beginning to make it smaller my head is around is 21 inches to 22 at the most please help I love this hat😢
beautifull hat! easy to do, BUT....... I somehow made it too big, and ended up with a bucket on my head, with the brim on my chin... ha ha!! ok, I'll do it again!

I got lost at row 16. You didn't do it on video but talked it out. I'm a visual learner and can't read a pattern at all. Hat is gorgeous tho.

at round 6 you repeat exactly what you did by round 5, the same no. of stitches. Sorry, I do not have written pattern.

my seam would do that too. so I had to be careful how I ended each row. Iḿ getting better. I guess it takes practice. hope this helps.
