This was so helpful! I have been struggling I have the exact softbox and finally got not a sheet but a white shower curtain. I am not going to get a stand to hold that. I agree with the softbox I have been using it has been so harsh.
It looks good but I think this is the wrong look considering the topic of money being apart of the videos being filmed. Way too dark and shouldn't have shadows on the face... could be subconsciously received as hiding(in the shadows) or having 2 faces...
Hi there! Sorry for the late reply - So having one light on one side is not only a very current look, but it's also a very natural look. You never have a light source covering your entire face unless you're looking directly into the sun. Lighting every angle of the face for a video would therefore look very unnatural, as well as unprofessional. Thank you for the input though.
