Boris, a 5-year-old Belgian Malinois was inside a police vehicle when it was struck head-on by a man fleeing police. Boris was taken to a veterinary hospital following the accident, and police said he is recovering well. The K9 officer who was in the vehicle with Boris is recovering from his injuries as well police said."
They are only braver when they sick their dogs on unarmed, non threatening people and then tell them they won’t call the dog until you stop trying to defend yourself from an animal biting you. They are sadists.

I do Hope that the Judge will sentence him to consecutive sentences... so that he'll have his first Parole hearing when he's 110 or so! But I am afraid that due to LV being a pretty deep blue city, odd are he'll be eligible for parole in 10 to 15 years.

He’s already in his 40s. His life is more than over. He might as well had blown his brains out when the pursuit ended. And it sounds like this isn’t his first encounter with the law either so if he has enough priors it’s an automatic life sentence. He astronomically fucked his life up in a period of a few hours. If he doesn’t have kids or isn’t married now he never will be.

LVMPD is usually very competent, but in this incident they look like a bunch of rookies. They chase him rather than stop him. They hesitate to engage with vehicles and hesitate to take shots.
12:25 It sucks because the air unit was BEGGING the ground units to block him in while he was in the parking lot but the officers on the ground didn’t want to get closer than like 20 yards… If he was properly blocked in, there would have been no head-on collision
