Islam is appealing for the following reasons:
It's theology of Tahwid is very clear and understandable.
Islam has a strict moral code, which is an antidote to modern libertinism.
There is a really powerful identity and Muslims as a whole are really welcoming to new adherents.
I'm a non Muslim by the way. I'm just giving an opinion on why Islam is appealing to so many people

One more reason why more people are becoming muslim more and more is the individualistic societies we live in. People are less bond to their societal believes and this makes conversions more frequent I think. Also the fall of some religions make people think and consider alternatives.
It makes sense in ALL aspects of life, how you deal with those you come across and those in your responsibility, actually having and fulfilling specific responsibilities, what to avoid, what is encouraged. Etc alhamdulillah as a woman in this days in age i am so CONTENT. Content is ongoing, relaxing. No matter what hardship you face wallahi knowing that you have Allah and he has sent a literal guide book. Alhamdulillah for islam.
Indeed, I find contentment and tranquality is what Islam gives. Quite the opposite of sinful life. sins might give you buzz and fun but it makes you feel empty and numb inside. Its draining the soul.
Its almost like water vs junk drink. Theres no buzz from the first but its refreshing and gives life to your body, makes it function properly...while the later gives you instant gratification but slowly kills you.

-Efforts of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and it's rulers in making masajid in different parts of the world printing copies of Quran and books of tawheed and sunnah and giving scholarships to Muslims around the world to study in its universities and learn about the religion and spread this da'wah of tawheed.
not to underestimate the role of Saudi Arabia, but they can do more than what they have done given the resources that they have :)

Is it real or just some video editing art work like green screen shot embedded with mecca video background? I think this is possible with green screen shot. Every one can make that sort of video and resemble as if he/she is some where else which is virtual reality. I think we have to analyse that video this way. I want to know your view please.

They're not. Islam is declining fast in Turkey, Iran and in The West. Notice that the AKP Party in Turkey couldn't even win the recent election. I know at least 50 Muslims who have left Islam in The UK and Germany. All the Iranians I know are Atheist.

They'll be back. Muslims overall are young. When they're tired of the fake world and their souls yearn for Allah again they will return.
The ones who leave Islam are usually not pliable or fully ethical people to begin with, or well read in multiple Faiths. Their concerns are often the concept of what glitters much surely be golden. Often, such people have great animosities against authoritative people they’ve met or insufferable climes where some level of abuse or anger were ongoing. Those who leave also engage in deeper and deeper sins, laughing at the religious ones-as they lose their soul consciousness gradually. Bad governments can also cause people who were weak in their understanding of Quran to become assimilated into the atheist clime of Do-whatever-you-feel-like-until-that-doesn’t-feel-good-anymore mentality.
When ex-Muslims become indoctrinated with certain movements such as Only-Women-Matter or, Only-Men-Matter, or Only-Some-Groups-Matter, or whatever latest fad, they develop a sense of external prowess -until, God forbid, some awful emergency makes them reflect on their past habits and lack of interest in God-consciousness. Some ex-Muslims begin lumping all religions as superstition, as many public schools encourage them to “think” without being reflective.
The latest ex-Muslims become isolated completely from their own families of some Faith remaining -one extremist-atheist recently killed his elder family members.
Morality, when not linked to Divine Source, becomes a see-saw effect of vacillating values, and Good conduct versus Bad conduct become relative in their minds, (Astaghfirullah).
Irshad Manji, for example, seems to want her “cake and eat it, too” -meaning the supposed benefits of each world view--such people do not rely on Allah’s words or the Prophet’s eternal message, but their own wishes and desires. Peace be upon him and all the Prophets sent to teach humanity wisdom.
And most realize, too late, that human desires alone can lead to many forms of corruption of the soul life, not to mention, crimes against humanity or themselves, without them realizing it.
It’s also “cool” in many schools to say to buddies, “Well, I’m not that religious,” as one sees the results of religion fading from the rest of society as some blessings fade when one’s elders/parents leave the world. The empirical evidence the ex-Muslims crave -and not finding Signs of Allah anywhere-cause their arrogant egos to further say, Ha! Ha! Another mass shooting or suicide or sickness? (Why wasn’t God Almighty doing anything)? But we know that Allah has already planned each one’s birth and death, and this life’s suffering will indeed be recompensed in the Next Life for the Believers or Martyrs.
Sura 13:27, “The Unbelievers say: “Why is not a Sign sent down to him from his Lord?” Say: “Truly Allah leaveth, to stray whom He will, but He guideth to Himself those who turn to Him in Penitence,-Those who believe, and whose hearts find satisfaction in the remembrance of Allah: for without doubt in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find satisfaction./For those who believe and work righteousness, is every blessedness, and a beautiful place of Final Return.”
Sura 13:31, “If there were a Quran with which mountains were moved, or the earth were cloven asunder, or the dead were made to speak, this would be the One! But truly, the Command is with Allah in all things! Do not the Believers know that, had Allah so willed, He could have guided all mankind to the Right?” (Some humans seem to have been left as examples for what happens to arrogance against the Creator Who has given one everything to make life easier, even a few protocols to follow, developing their/our soul levels.
May Allah protect our well meaning Ummah from their own desires and wishes to be in some latest “in-crowd.”

THE TRUTHFULNESS OF THE QUR'AN AND OF ISLAM.
Christianity is a pagan religion and its understanding ABOUT Jesus, while ISLAM is the Religion OF Jesus (i.e. Jesus is a Muslim who pray to and worship the One Absolute God the Creator of all existence).
There is no major religion/dharma after ISLAM, this proves the Truthfulness of the Message of the Noble Qur'an its completeness and a Guide for all Mankind.
"Forbidden to you are carrion, blood, the flesh of swine, the animal slaughtered in any name other than ALLAH's, the animal which has either been strangled, killed by blows, has died of a fall, by goring or that devoured by a beast of prey - unless it be that which you yourselves might have slaughtered while it was still alive - and that which was slaughtered at the altars. You are also forbidden to seek knowledge of your fate by divining arrows. All these are sinful acts.
THIS DAY THE DISBELIEVERS HAVE FULLY DESPAIRED OF YOUR RELIGION. DO NOT FEAR THEM; BUT FEAR ME. THIS DAY I HAVE PERFECTED FOR YOU YOUR RELIGION, AND HAVE BESTOWED UPON YOU MY FAVOUR/BOUNTY IN FULL MEASURE, AND HAVE BEEN PLEASED TO ASSIGN FOR YOU ISLAM AS YOUR RELIGION.
(Follow, then, the lawful and unlawful bounds enjoined upon you.) As for he who is driven by hunger, without being wilfully inclined to sin, surely Allah is All-Forgiving, All-Compassionate."

ALLAH/GOD considers Faith rather than man's own judgement as the main basis for observing the standards of lawfulness and prohibition. Whoever is fully convinced that the Noble Qur'an is the Book of GOD, that Prophet Muhammad (peace be on him) was designated by HIM, and that GOD is All-Knowing and All-Wise, will necessarily commit himself to observe the restrictions enjoined by GOD regardless of whether he is able to grasp the Wisdom underlying them or not. Whoever lacks this basic conviction will avoid only those evils which are fully evident to human beings, and will remain a prey to all those which have not yet become apparent but which in fact are intrinsically harmful.
The 'favour' or 'bounty' referred to in the statement: 'I have bestowed upon you MY Favour/Bounty in full measure', is the favour/bounty of True Guidance.
'This day the Disbelievers have fully despaired of your religion' refers to the fact that ISLAM had developed into a full-fledged system of life, reinforced by the authority and governmental power which it had acquired through the mission of the Final Prophet & Messenger of GOD, Muhammad (pbuh).
The Disbelievers who had hitherto resisted its establishment now despaired of destroying Islam to force the Believers back to their former state of Ignorance of the Meccans period.
The Believers therefore no longer needed to fear men: they should fear GOD Alone. Indeed, the Muslims were repeatedly asked to fear GOD, for they would not be treated lightly if they failed to carry out HIS Commands, especially as there was no longer any justifiable excuse for such failure. If they still violated the Law of GOD, there could be no basis for supposing that they did so under constraint: it must mean that they simply had no intention of obeying HIM.
The bounty referred to in the statement: 'I have bestowed upon you My Fovour/Bounty in full measure', is the Favout/Bounty of True Guidance.
The statement: 'I have been pleased to assign for you ISLAM as your religion' means that, since the Muslims had proved by their conduct and their striving that they were honest and sincere about the commitment they had made to GOD in embracing ISLAM - the commitment to serve and obey HIM - HE had accepted their sincerity and created conditions in which they were no longer yoked in bondage to anyone but HIM. Thus the Muslims were not prevented from living in Submission to GOD out of extraneous constraints just as there were no constraints preventing them from subscribing to true beliefs. Having recounted these favours, GOD does not point out what should be the proper response to those favours/bounties. But the implication is obvious: the only appropriate response on the part of the believers must be unstinting observance of the Commandments/ Law of GOD out of gratitude to HIM.
