Brother I believe you should have talked to him in private before you started these videos in public, I understand unless if he attacked you in public but he didn't as far as I know, but if you educate each other maybe just deleting a video will solve the issue. I feel your doing the same to the brother as Ali Dawah did to you. We need to hold to Allah's rope and not divide. Please Educate each other before educating us... And also, who's causing division when one is pointing out flaws for the benefit of the person who is at fault and the viewers at large, and the other is literally saying "my hate for you is greater than your love for Allah" or something along those lines? No hate to Ali Dawah but he was extreme there. And also, about Rhyad, his vids reached a lot of Muslims already, so the damage is already happening among the Ummah. So how to address it? Privately? If it was a small mistake it's understandable, this is an issue in Aqeedah which would inevitably influence the acts of Muslims after all.

I would add, however, that I'm not a big fan of these refutation videos of fellow Muslims on social media. At times, I really think it distracts us from the more important issues going on within the Ummah such as Muslims being killed, beat, raped etc.
I also think that refutation culture boosts our ego and it takes us away from studying Deen. Instead, we are more concerned about making videos about current media and other Dawah Muslims instead of actually helping fellow Muslimeen and getting closer to Allah Ar-Razzaq.

*Salafi is an ascription to the Salaf (pious predecessors), so we have to know who the Salaf are and then what this ascription means and its importance as regards its meaning and implication. The Salaf are the people of the first 3 generations whom the Messenger of Allahصلى الله عليه وسلم ) declared to be good in the authentic & mutawatir hadith recorded in alBukhari & Muslim & others from a group of the Companions that he said: "The best of people is my generation, then those who come after them, then those who come after them.", i.e the first three generations. So the Salafees attach themselves to the Salaf, and if we know the meaning of 'Salaf' and 'Salafi' then we should bear two things in mind.*
*That this attachment is not to a single person or persons, as is the case with other Jamaa'ahs present in the Muslim world. This is not an attachment to a person or even tens of people, but to that which will not err, since it is impossible that the Salaf would unite upon error, as opposed to the people of later times, since with regard to the later generations, there is no text speaking in their favour. Rather, in general, they are spoken ill of in the end of the previous hadeeth: "Then there will come a people who give witness and their witness is not asked for...", and in other ahaadeeth there occurs: "A group of my Ummah will not cease to be upon the truth..."*
*So this is a praise for them but a censure of the rest since the praise is for a particular small group. Linguistically, 'Taa'ifah' is used to refer to a single person or more. Thus if we understand this meaning of the 'Salafees' and that they attach themselves to the Salaf- and that if the Muslim clings to that which the Salaf were upon - then here we come to the second matter:That after this is understood, it is not possible for any Muslim but to be a Salafee, since we have understood that in attaching oneself to the Salaf one has attached himself to that which cannot err. This is taken from the hadeeth: "My Ummah will not unite upon error," and it is not correct to refer this to the people of later ages; those present today. In addition to that is the ahaadeeth referring to what happened to the previous peoples - the Jews and the Christians - & what will befall the Muslims, regarding splitting into sects, saying: "The Jews split into seventy-one sects and the Christians into seventy-two, and my Ummah will split into seventy-three sects. All of them are in the Fire except one." The Companions said, "Who are they, O Messenger of.صلى الله عليه وسلم ?" He. صلى الله عليه وسلمreplied "They are the Jamaa'ah." This shows who is meant in the previous hadeeth "My Ummah will not unite upon error" since they are the saved sect, along with those who have their outlook and follow them. Those Salafus-Saaliheen are those whom Allah has warned us against opposing them or against following a way other than theirs, saying:If anyone contend with the Messenger even after guidance has been plainly conveyed to him, and follows a path other than that becoming to men of faith, We shall leave him in the path he has chosen, and land him in Hell - what an evil refuge! [QURAN 4:115] I have many times pointed out to our brothers the wisdom of our Lord's attaching in this aayah 'the following of a way other than that of the believers' to 'the opposing of the Messenger', what is the wisdom in that, since even if the ayah did not contain the part about following a way other than that of the believers, then the first part about opposing the Messenger. صلى الله عليه وسلم would have been enough to earn the person the evil end mentioned. However, it is not possible that the second part has no relevance, and we seek Allaah's refuge from such a thing. Its wisdom is shown by Imaam Ash-Shaafi'ee's using it as a proof of Ijmaa' - meaning: 'He who takes a way other than that of the Companions'- who are unerring - and they and those who follow them are the Jamaa'ah whom the Messenger of Allaah صلى الله عليه وسلم declared to be the saved sect. They are those whom it is not permissible to oppose - for one who wishes to be saved from Allah's punishment on the Day of Resurrection. Therefore the Muslims have to be aware today, who are the Muslims mentioned in this aayah? And then, what is the wisdom in Allaah's intending the Salafus-Salih and those who follow them? The answer has preceded & is, in brief, that they are the Companions who were present when the revelation came down, and who took it direct from the mouth of the Messenger. صلى الله عليه وسلم. They saw the Messengerصلى الله عليه وسلم living among them following the revealed rulings of the Quran, many of whom were explained by his sayings.*
What I find ironic is that people call you an “extremist” online, meanwhile they either follow very extreme misguided versions of Islam or very liberal misguided versions of Islam.

A public response should only be made whenever the private discussion failed. Look at Sheikh Uthman when he responded to Dr Zakir Naik's video on masterbation. He tried everything to get in contact with Dr Zakir Naik, but since he wasn't able to, he made a public refutation since there was no other option.
Even if Brother Saajid's intentions are 100% sincere, always jumping the gun and going for a public refutation is a bad idea that leads to fitna.
May Allah protect us and our children from the ignorance and misguidance of todays youth.

I was approached by Hizb Ut Tahrir 7 years ago after being 3 years Muslim.
So I did some research about them and with grace of Allah , I came a cross of a lecture from sheikh Albani rahemallah on RUclips which he refutes Hizb Ut Tahir very clearly.
Also I was blessed to have good knowledgeable brothers around me and they explained the matter as brother Sajid explained.
This deviant group ( Hizb Ut Tahrir ) mostly targets new Muslims and youths with less knowledge of Islam for their deviant Ideology .
My dear brothers and sisters in Islam ask Allah for guidance and learn your religion according the understanding of companions of prophet Muhammad pbuh .
Our dear brother Sajid , may Allah bless you with more knowledge and grant you Jannat alferdous.

No, "ilaha" or "ilah" most certainly does not mean "nothing;" thus, "la ilaha" must certainly does NOT mean "there's nothing." It means "there's no deity." However, unfortunately, most Muslims, including Brother Saajid, have pretty much stopped using the upper-cased word "God," and are using the word "Allah" exclusively when talking about God in English, despite "Allah" meaning "God" in Arabic, so now they're also using the lower-cased word "god" instead of "deity" as their favorite translation of the word "ilah," and many things are all over the place as we see here, where the shahaada itself isn't being tanslated accurately.
"There is no god worthy of worship except God" would be very awkward. "There's nothing worthy of worship except God" would be an inaccurate translation. "There's no deity worthy of worship except God" would be the most accurate and simultaneously relatable translation to a foreigner, but if you are allergic to the English translation of "Allah," God, then at least stick to "There's no deity worthy of worship except Allah." And we hope less non-Muslims think we worship a deity other than the Abrahamic deity, God, by this exclusive use of God's beautiful name in Arabic. It is the most beautiful name, but while speaking English, we're not obligated to exclusively it and only use it.

@@TheRok it's a fine translation. لا معبود بحق إلا الله is something else scholars say, which is "there is nothing that is worshipped in truth except Allah" and it's similar. Ilaha doesn't mean "nothing" but the meaning is conveyed fine

I saw your the whole thing with Ali Dawah, Rhyad and then your video, your video has given more insight, thought and depth into the matter than Ali Dawah did, without a clear overview in certain matters people are instead putting themselves in self harm.. I would add, however, that I'm not a big fan of these refutation videos of fellow Muslims on social media. At times, I really think it distracts us from the more important issues going on within the Ummah such as Muslims being killed, beat, raped etc.

Again, another proof to why public exposure of other Muslim brothers is a good thing. Lately I've been really asking myself about if forcefully applying Sharia on a country would make Islam spread wider and go into people's hearts, if Shia that is not applied 100% perfectly is really Shia. The video that Sajid made, made me have a basic understanding, then the Answer of Ryhad made me do a full 180°, completely thinking that Sajid must've been wrong, couldn't wait for his answer, I was really expecting some kind of apology from his behalf. Despite being a Muslim, my lack of knowledge pushed me directly into Ryhad's perspective, and I'm so glad that he made this video, now things are so much clearer to me, and I know where to look into forward with my reaserch and what to stay away from.
The real sad part is Ali Dawa, I knew 100% after Ryhad's video that he would directly jump into the occasion, and I was not wrong at all. Tawhid is of 3 categories:
_Tawhid Ar-Rububiyyah_
(singling out Allah ﷻ alone as sole Creator, Regulator, Sustainer and Maintainer of the world without partners, rivals, or equals).
_Tawhid Al-Uluhiyyah or 'Ibadah_
(to single out Allah ﷻ Alone in all acts of worship like Du'a (invocation, supplication), sacrificing, vowing, hoping, loving, fearing etc).
Tawhid Al-Asmaa wa Sifaat (to single out Allah ﷻ Alone with His Most Beautiful Names and Attributes), to invoke Him with His Names, to not share His Names and Attributes with His creation, to not lie or distort them and to not commit Ilhaad (deviation) like giving Allah ﷻ Names that He did not mention Himself with like "the father".
And then those went into extreme brought a new category called:
_Tawhid Al-Haakimiyyah_
(Singling out Allah alone for Judgement). This is true, but it is already incorporated into Rububiyyah. So it is not allowed to create a fourth category nor should one restrict Tawhid to only one category i.e. Ar-Rububiyyah thereby thinking that someone who just believes in the existence of God without worshipping Him alone is saved, or someone who worships God and alongside God worships saints is saved.
No, anyone who violates Al-Uluhiyyah or Al-Asmaa wa Sifaat are not going to be saved. So if one believes in Allah ﷻ as the Creator, Regilator and Sustainer but does acts of worship to other than Allah ﷻ like the grave worshippers, then the belief in the existence of Allah ﷻ had no benefit to him.
To enter Jannah you have to have all the 3 Cateories of Tawhid and belief in the Afterlife by not saying that you'll turn to dust and vanish into non-existence. And you have to follow the Messenger and Book of your time. If you lived in the time of Jesus عليه السلام, then following him and his book (the injeel and not the new testament) was the truth. If you lived in the time of Moses عليه السلام, then likewise. But we live in the time of Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم, and thus anyone that denies Muhammad ﷺ is a disbeliever who will be forbidden from entering Jannah.
The advent of Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم and the Qur'an has rendered all previous books abrogated. All of mankind must follow and obey Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم if they want to enter Paradise.
2) Chapter: Following the Sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ
Narrated Abu Hurairah رضي الله عنه:
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
"All my followers will enter Paradise except those who refuse." They said: "O Allah's Messenger! Who will refuse?" He said: "Whoever obeys me will enter Paradise, and whoever disobeys me is the one who refuses (to enter it)."
[Sahih al-Bukhari » Holding Fast to the Qur'an and Sunnah - كتاب الاعتصام بالكتاب والسنة » Hadith 7280]
Allah سبحانه وتعالى said,
رَّبُّ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا فَاعْبُدْهُ وَاصْطَبِرْ لِعِبَادَتِهِ ۚ هَلْ تَعْلَمُ لَهُ سَمِيًّا
Lord of the heavens and the earth, and all that is between them, so worship Him (Alone) and be constant and patient in His worship. _Do you know of any who is similar to Him?_ [Maryam 19:65]
The evidence for the 3 categories of Tawhid is found in the Ayah above, verse 65 of Surah Maryam. It ontains all the three categories of Tawhid (Islamic Monotheism).
1. _"Lord of the heavens and the earth, and all that is between them,"_ = Tawhid Ar-Rububiyyah (to single out Allah Alone as the sole Creator, Sustainer, Regulator, Maintainer, Protector, and Lord of the entire world).
No atoms, nature, or the universe, or a man or angel, or jinn or celestial bodies have any share in creating, regulating, sustaining, maintaining or protecting the world. All are His creation.
Those who believe that stardust and gravity created the world, or that nature and the universe regulate themselves, and they say: _"nature was not merciful to the people of florida"_ after the hurricane, or they say: _"nature selected"_ or the _"universe decided"_ these are committing shirk in Rububiyyah.
They remind me of the who be in At-Tanjeem (astrology), and that celestial bodies, stars and planets etc have influence on the affairs. It is called 'ilm Ta'thir. Wheress studying the movements of celestial bodies to find the Qibla or navigation etc is called 'ilm Tasyeer. This is allowed while the former is shirk in Rububiyyah. Those who believe that atoms and gravity have influence and created the world, are worse than the astrologers in shirk. Because the astrologers said that rain happened because of the Naw' (rising or setting) of such and such a star. But the atheists said that nature, the universe, stardust, atoms and gravity are the very creaotors, regulators and sustainers.
And committing shirk (polytheism) in Rububiyyah (Lordship) is greater than doing it in Uluhiyyah. Because not even the idaloters whom the Messengers of Allah ﷻ were sent to, committed shirk in Rububiyyah. They did not believe that the inanimate idols created anything. They told Abraham عليه السلام that they (idols) do not speak nor could they have been responsible for smashing the other idols. Thus negating that they could've created anything to begin with.
But the atheists of today are polytheists in Lordship. They are not atheists by definition. And using that argument is better than using mantiq and kalam. Because the objective will become Tawhid Ar-Rububiyyah if you label them as polytheists in Lordship after clarifying Tawhid that is Allah's Right of Him upon them. The matter will thus become similar to how the idolaters always say that they are not worshipping the idols, after the severe condemnation of Muslims labeling them as polytheists. Same thing will happen to the atheists until you get a leverage over them. But with kalam and mantiq you'll be stuck.
2. _"So worship Him (Alone) and be constant and patient in His worship."_ = Tawhid Al-Uluhiyyah or Tawhid Al-'Ibadah (to single out Allah Alone for all acts of worship, like Du'a (invocation), seeking refuge (isti'adha), seeking help (isti'ana), or vowing, sacrificing etc). Whoever does any act of worship to anyone but Allah ﷻ is a mushrik (polytheist) in worship.
This is where most of mankind erred and why Allah ﷻ sent the Messengers. To rectify the shirk in worship that most of mankind were engaged in. They were not atheists, so convincing them of Allah's Existence was not neccesary. Rather they would not cease putting intermediaries and intercessors between themselves and Allah ﷻ, whether it be angels, jinn, men, saints, idols or celestial bodies.
You have christians, the raafidah (shi'a), the sufis and the jews, all invoking their prophets, saints, imams, maulanas, or rabbis. Grave worship, icon worship, saint worship, rabbi worship etc became widespread among these. So it should be shunned.
3. _Do you know of any who is similar to Him?_ = Tawhid Al-Asma' wa Sifaat (to single out Allah Alone with His Most Beautiful Names and Attributes). To invoke Him by using His Names, to not ascribe His Attributes or Names to anyone, to not turn Al-Wahhab (the Bestower) into a derogatory term by saying _Wahhabi_ like the sufi grave worshippers and raafidah majoos (shi'a) call the people of Tawhid and Hadith i.e the Salafis. Because whoever lies about Allah's Names, then such a one is a disbeliever just like the christians who commit ilhaad (deviation) by giving Allah ﷻ names that He did not mention Himself with like "the father". To shun all of that so that you may be successful in this life and after this life.

I read up more on this issue on khawarij and Saajid is absolutely right. The crazy thing is that a lot of his followers are so misinformed that they think Saajid is just starting up some drama. People need to be careful, this can be done in such a covert way of teaching.

I would add, however, that I'm not a big fan of these refutation videos of fellow Muslims on social media. At times, I really think it distracts us from the more important issues going on within the Ummah such as Muslims being killed, beat, raped etc.
I also think that refutation culture boosts our ego and it takes us away from studying Deen. Instead, we are more concerned about making videos about current media and other Dawah Muslims instead of actually helping fellow Muslimeen and getting closer to Allah Ar-Razzaq.

Well explained and tackled. May Allah give you the strength to keep going. The problem is social media has made it so much easier to spread deviancy - which is why its important people attach themselves to scholars than tic tock dawah dudes.
Not only Hijbut Tahrid but also other groups have the same akidah (belief) such as Ikhawanul Muslimin, Jamat E Islami, and other groups. They all prioritise and misinterpret the political life of the prophet Muhammad (sal) rather than his dawah life. They all think just by getting in power Islam will be established. Abul Ala Moududi who is the writer of a renowned a tafsir misinterpreted the quran in many different ways. These people follow his ideology.
Tafhimul Quran is the tafsir which is written by Moududi. He misinterpreted the whole quran. Avoid reading this tafsir.

These shaykhs of ahlus sunnah are people that understand the quran and the sunnah the way the salaf understood it, so to make our lives easier, we should learn the quran and sunnah through these people of knowledge. And trying to learn the quran and sunnah by yourself is impossible, we can only learn so much by ourselves. It's like saying learn calculus by yourself by just reading a book. For some reason, people who describe themselves as fans of that brother, lack the most basic common sense.
There is a large population of people online that are from ahlul-biddah groups such as sufi's, deobandi's, barelvi's, maturidi's, ashari's etc(I'm not making takfir dont whine). Notice though they have differences between each other, they all unite in attacking those that cling on to the Quran and the sunnah with the understanding of the 3 favored generations. They lie and slander more modern scholars that are upon salafiyyah and claim terrible things about them to scare the laypeople into being scared of the "wahabbi"'s or the "madkhalis". If you want an example ask them what position a prominent dae'e upon salafiyah has that is not evidenced by the ijma of the companions and watch them squirm. Eventually they will fall back to "You madkhali's make takfir on muslims!!". Instead of understanding Islam through those who knew it best after the Prophet(pbuh) they follow Islam in only in their desires. May Allah guide them and protect they laymen Muslims from their deviance.

I really don’t understand the concept of setting up a government first and then somehow everything will be ok. The Prophet (saw) was offered everything; money, wealth, power, LEADERSHIP, women etc but he refused. He could have taken leadership and then done his mission if establishing a state is the answer. May Allah preserve our understanding of the Kalima in the way the Prophet (saw) taught it and the sahabah understood it. Amin
The Prophet salalahu alayhi wa salam was offered this position from those who are enemies of Allah. Of course he would reject such a proposition. Nevertheless, Saajid gave a weak argument by projecting HIS understanding onto the brothers understanding. Ultimately, leading to a misunderstanding of what the brother actually intends by his statements. He insist he shares the same ideology of the hizb tuhir and that is not the truth.
This reasonable methodology as well as sensical way to lay out points Saajid is using is the fruits you get by becoming a student of knowledge at renowned universities like the one in Madinah allahumma barik, not to mention all the experience you get by engaging with people from all over the world. Now put this in contrast with short and sweet arguments which in reality are trying to lure the everyday guy into adapting a false narrative. I was skeptical at first as well, thinking Saajid is making mountains out of molehills for the average guy won't even think that far, but that _is_ exactly the problem. This video should clear any doubts left and making people realize at the very least that there _is_ great danger in Dawa on run-of-the-mill social media apps like TikTok, specifically when it comes to much more nuanced and broader topics like these, and along with this comes great responsibility. I mean, people should definitely know what their audience is at this point. This was literally the reason why I moved from all social media apps to just YT in hopes to attract the kind of audience I am aiming for, people who are _really_ thirsty for knowledge, want to see behind things and are dissatisfied with a 30 seconds clip either misrepresenting or not going into the depth of things. I feel like YT is one of the last few bastions where we can happily spread Islam relatively safely, though I am very much aware there is definitely also much misinformation out here as well, but we are talking likelihood and audience. May Allah protect us all.
