Notice how the second song is from ' pange lingua ' a catholic hymn to venerate the sacred body of Christ. That's what I love about the space marines. They are the space warrior monk crusades, defenders of the God emperor and his beloved mankind.

That would the apropiate situation but in the game it plays when you have to assault an cathedral where Sindri (if you played the game you know) tries to summon the powers of the Key (that's the moment i remember they played it. Could have played and later but i didn't pay attention).
1st theme be like: you start with a builder you fast build baracks and got scouts for strategic points while you has 3 marine squads you attack the enemy while he has low army you build dreads while fighting the enemy since he has good defense dread arrives and clears the mission
+Bacxaber They've been restricting races behind paywalls since 2005 when Winter Assault introduced the IG. Same goes for Dark Crusade with the Necs and Tau, same for SS, CR and Retribution. It'll be no different for DoW 3. They've been doing it for years and I'm fine with it now. I know three races seems a bit, well, a bit lacking for initial release, but there's no way I'm not getting this game! I'm sure the expansions will be juicy af. ;)

The problem with DoW's music isn't it's quality, but that they try to mix every theme with every race. This particular number plays so many times that it just grows wearisome, especially when you're Tau or Necron.

Very true. See, the whole atmospher of 40k is based on gothic and Catholic atmosphere, the original concept of good vs evil, saint for sin. In 40k, its about humanity against Chaos, its derives on the flaws of humanity itself. The Emperor is an allegory of what faith is suppose to save humanity from chaos, Ironically, The emperor opposes fanatism, that overzealous faith can take over "order"

Last song hits home for the Emperor.... To be a human on this world is to be at constant war, for the many horrors tht dwell in space..

The third one makes me think of the men I've lost over the years, many a good man has fallen to a bad one.
I also envision myself mourning the lost in a magnificent golden chapel, huge and silent, with stained glass depictions of the Emperor's gentle side.
