Thank for the video, I am still dumb founded how can the manual state to adjust the chain on a side stand. I always done mine on the side stand instead of the center stand. They must have misprinted a step in the original manual. Please advise, thanks. Could be the f$@$ reason for chain replacement at 15k instead of 20k
@@MaxVFR that means that YOU DONT NEED A CENTER STAND to adjust the chain. It has to be done on the side stand. The center stand just makes it easy to find the tightest part of the chain, where you adjust from.
@@hogueraleksander5868 how can you say the video is wrong when I based the “facts” from “the” honda manual that came with my bike and the Hayne’s manual
@Projekt1 i have the honda oem manual right here. It says clearly to do the adjustemt on the side stand. And there are plenty of good videos telling you why. But in short, the rear wheel needs to loaded with the weight on the bike when doing the adjustment.

Both the Honda manual and Haynes states that it should be on the centerstand so I just stick to it.
The book is wrong. Mine says to adjust in the side stand. This video is wrong. Leaving this so people don't make the same mistake.
@@Projekt1so means if I don’t have a center stand, how to I adjust my chain???
