amanda and ryan prime will meet in the empathy reality and ryan will be able to recreate the dimension travelling drug based on the samples jason prime gave amanda. then they'll share the drug with the other jasons and i guess the other jason's that spawned because of evil jason's actions will have the chance to be with the other amandas / danielas from the other realities. now, that would be a happy ending for everyone hahaha

If you turn subtitles on they identify the Jasons. Jason prime is the one who meets them at the bean.

FYI, Everett's many world's interpretation of quantum mechanics has nothing to do with choices. It is about the different possible outcomes of quantum events. Foundational physics. Choices imply consciousness, which is an emergent phenomena.

Jason's #3 to #5 are the ones in previous episodes. Like the Jason who was in bed asleep.
Yeah there are a ton, countless that we won't see, countless that probably died or threw in the towel.
@@thescreensleuths In the book there are two scenes kinda explaining what is going on. Around the time Jason checks in in the hotel he accesses an email account and receives the link to an old fashioned chat room. In the chat room the first time he only sees around 8 different Jasons talking to each other about their experiences and that they already started killing each other. Next time he checks the chat a few hours later there are already 100+ Jasons. So as more time passes more and more Jasons are arriving in Jasons1's world. Also since this is a chat room the Jasons indeed are numbered exactly like that. And since some Jasons also arrived earlier the original Jason at least in the chatroom has the username Jason9.
Take a look at 44:14 of the episode; the Jason that crashes into their car, has the same nose scar, and I dont think its from that fresh crashing
The theory I have for the prime doubles is while lavender fairy allows one to view superposition it also could have the side effect of allowing one's thoughts to access superposition unobstructed by the neocortex. We see Jason open one door while his branching thoughts (unseen) open all the other doors at the same time creating doubles in those realities. So Jason2 has also unintentionally perfected human cloning with his box. Had he foreseen this he would have just eliminated Jason prime when he abducted him to rule out this eventuality. The issue now is these doubles originate from the reality the prime mind originates from and they all have the same goal. Jason2 should have done more research with Velocity Labs2 to smoke out potential issues before fully committing on his takeover scheme. He has indirectly helped create these doubles who are all coming for him.
"The world you are looking for is a grain of sand on an infinite beach..." we end up with a Jason prime for each grain of sand. The issue now is some of his double have also reached the target destination with others potentially on the way. Jason prime, Ryan(s) and Jason2 might have to team up to figure out quantum convergence using the box and maybe a modified compound. If they do figure out how to combine the primes, what kind of mental state will this leave Jason prime in when he exits? Seeing Jason prime is the origin mind for his doubles, will they team up and try to eliminate him once they realise their newfound existences are at risk? We have seen Jason2 beginning to crack in the recent episodes. These constant contacts with the primes and the possibility of loosing Daniella and Charlie will push him to further extremes or he might try to make a run for it back to his reality.
The name of the last episode is entanglement. And in quantum mechanics it means that the quantum state of a group of particles in close proximity, is related to each other. If the jasons were generates in the box they are entangled, so we need to see the colapse of the wave function how it will affect the jasons.
Good call out, but I believe quantum entanglement means that two particles are inexplicably linked regardless of distance and in this case maybe regardless of reality.
However, you are correct that the entanglement currently starts off with particles close to each other.
In theory J1 could use their connection to each other to "nudge" them into doing that may delete them from the board.
But this idea could be used by the show for a ton of different outcomes, however they choose to bend it.
The issue with the wave function collapse is that in the MWI it doesn't really collapse like in the Copenhagen version, where one Reality exists, so when there is a branch off, one joins the Reality and the other function collapses for good.
In MWI both just go on existing and creating more and more.
But with all that said point taken, EXCELLENT call out and it has me thinking. I may need to bring this up and try to explain it before next week!

Okay, so in season 2, their going to discover time travel by dropping the box from a mountain top. Once it reaches 88 mph, they will arrive back in time to stop the kidnapping.
But what if there are no roads where they are going...?
No. Time travel will be discovered because the box will open in a cave and they'll have choose which fork to take and crawl through it coming out 33 years in the past or future😅😅😅!!!

Agreed they are all equally real. The difference for me comes in at multiple versions having the same root reality.
Despite being spawned after the initial Jason in that reality.

I'm glad this is science fiction because it's scary to think that billionaires of this world got hold of something like interdimensional travel. I'd hate to see the worlds that they may go to and what they might've decided to bring back.

I really wish there were 2 episodes left. 10 episodes is a perfect number. Also the reason why only Jason 1 split into infinite jasons is because both jadon & Amanda used the drug after entering the box. & Jason 2 & all the people he brought kidnapped he made sure to take the drug before entering the box. That's why there is 100% chance that there are infinite amandas.
Yeah 10 episodes would be nice, but I suspect if we had 10 we would wish for 11 😂
There is for sure infinite versions of them all, but the other J2s may have just settled for a very close version of this reality. They didn't know exactly which one had what they wanted so there are probably a few that are very close.

I believe they are, but without going through every scene and looking at storefronts and pictures it could be tough. Some of these worlds would be indistinguishable.
I will say I have checked the tattoos on the bartender and they match episode 1 so there is that 🕵🏻♂️👍🏻

My 2cents
He’s not the Jason we were introduced to, nor is his world the one we knew first. He was an intruder into Jason1’s reality. We are following the story of the Jason we first met. Hence all the Jason1s refer to him as Jason2.
Before Jason 2 (Evil Jason) created The Box there was already an infinite amount of parallel Jason's.
That Box was a mechanism to visit these other realities, however a by-product of this is now other variants can also visit other realities as well.
No Jason is more or less real than any other, but we consider our Jason, J1 or Jason Prime for the same reason the character thinks he is.
The main difference is usually when a new choice is made and a new reality is created they don't meet, they just exist. So there is no conflict, but because all of the J1 variants want the same reality because they were spawned in The Box we have this melee of Jason's.
There are surely other Jasons that created The Box before *J2 did in the multiverse.
I don’t consider any of the Jason’s to be “evil” not even Jason 2.
I think they all are the same man and just made different choices.
@ProjectGrandMarauder Eh... there are Ted Bundy's who made different choices too, that doesn't make the one we know not evil, because other versions worked at a woman's shelter.

If there are an 'infinite number of Jason variants' then there could be an infinite number of seasons in this how. Boom. Maybe there are an infinite variations of this show across the Everett worlds Boom again. That would be an epic binge.
Love your take, as per uje! I lost Jay prime between eps 4 and 5. I did not bother trying to track him after that. Lol. At one point in ep 7, I heard the snap switch sound (to Jason on the burner phone), and that was my signal to stop trying. 🚶♂️

I can't shake this feeling that the show might be throwing us viewers for a loop and will toss a curveball to reveal that Jupiter Jason isn't actually Jason prime, but rather just one of the copies we happened to follow and who made it back to Daniella first before the Jason Prime we started out with (who might even have been on of the Jason's driving the cars that crashed into each other).
Why would they do this?
I haven't figured that part out yet, but I can't shake that feeling that it's a final "twist" they're waiting to reveal - possibly as a end scene reveal or even a post-credit reveal -

I think Jupiter Jason is Jason prime but what if the Jason that was caught smoking wasn’t Jason Prime and was just another plot twist
Jupiter Jason is the protagonist so if he is not Jason prime it wont serve the story to highlight it, unless the show ends on that realisation.

We are asuming that "Evil Jason" had the same problem with duplicates but why weren't there any " Evil Jason duplicates" coming to the "Prime" universes at the same time or later?, I'm guessing Evil Jason found a way to be "The ONE*
He for sure did and it's a fair question, I think quantum entanglement may come into play here. But it could also be that they were just looking for "a" world like this, where the other Jason's are looking for "this exact" reality.
They may have just decided to not fight for the same place, EJ didn't have a stake in this reality until after he claimed it.
All Jasons are legitimate, including Jason 2. But box Jasons are relevant/real to our world since they all share the same experiences upon entering the box that first time. Jason Jupiter got lucky since he got to Daniella first and convinced her to trust him. This is exciting and a very morally grey place for Daniella, Jason Jupiter, and all the box Jasons.
It's a very mind bending concept, very fun! 🕵🏻♂️
There are many Evil Jasons somewhere but only one was able to get to J1’s reality. Probably because Evil J doesnt have specific destination. So in multiple realities, Evil J killed or sent local Js back to evil J’s world.
Yeah there are for sure at least 100x different EJs out there. He said he used drug around 100x, so for sure that many, but then all the ones that were made and maybe more than one reality per drug injection, etc.

I believe evil Jason is actually Jason prime and every other variant is of him. Every world that doesn’t have its own box is a variant. These boxes show up out of nowhere. No one of those worlds created the box.
Right but under the same logic any world who didn't first create the box is a variant of the world who first did. The realties of J1 and J2 already existed before The Box was created, the divergence happened when Jason decided to be a family man or a career man, during that time there was no Box. Both are equally real versions of Jason.
In the wasp world there was a Box already there, so who made the Box first? How many more worlds had one before the Jason 2 we know?
There were an infinite number of realties made before any Jason existed at all, some where he died at birth or a car crash at 16, etc. If anything, those Jason's would be more of a Prime than Evil Jason. But according to the MWI there is no Prime, there are just possible realties.

@@thescreensleuths it might help to imagine each world as a computer simulation. The box is a directory to that simulation. You can copy and paste as many simulations as you’d like but only the root directory is the original world.
The multiverse is the root directory, the Box is the file explorer allowing you to choose and explore your local files.
The Box & the drug combined let us access a dimension that we would normally not be able to access. Both ingredients are required. You could have a reality with a Box and no drug and nothing happens.
Again according to the theory there is no Prime reality at all.
I only equate Jason Jupiter as Jason Prime because he has always had the injury to his nose. But I questioned it on the Florida Keys thing. His reaction to her saying we didn't go had me questioning if he was our Jason.

Im just stuck on when Charlie asks Jason if he's his real dad and Jason say yes and no and I'm just stuck on this right now. no-one has touched on that.
Because yes technically they are all his father. They all have the same memories that J1 has, they aren't clones or something like him, they are equally him.
So yes they are, but no because they are "spawned" from the choices of the J1 we met first.
Essentially everyone of those other J1s could have been who Daniella picked and she would have been right.
But the for story purposes the one we first met, who we all consider the real Jason is who she chooses cause... Love and stuff lol

There wasn't much emotional impact when J1 and Daniela were reunited, tbh. J1 separating from Amanda at the top of the tower was much more moving.
I feel like they had their moment in the police station and he was very emotional about Charlie.
But yes, he for sure was crushed when he left Amanda. There are no doubt many Jason's that didn't leave her. 👍🏻
I think prime Jason is going to leave w his family but something is going to happen that is going to make us question is that was actually prime Jason 🤯

I still don't understand how infinite Jason is possible (did Jason 2 kidnap all of them and other infinite Jason 2?) and why they all came to that particular universe that belongs go prime Jason?
Confusion is understandable.
Remember this, before J2 did anything with The Box, before it was even built there was already an infinite number of Jason's coexisting in the multiverse.
The Box did not create the multiverse, it already existed.
Essentially when a version of you makes a choice, say to turn right in your car. Another reality branches off where you turn left. And the result each decision may change your trajectory or create another decision point where another branching event happens, etc etc.
The reason these particular versions of Jason want to be in this particular reality is because normally when a split happens, like the one we mentioned above, each version of you gets a reality of their own and before the Box technology existed you could never ever meet.
But these Jason's spawned because of decisions made while in the Box, so the only reality they know is the one J1 left.
They remember everything because they are all J1, so when the branching events happened instead of just going about their life in their own reality, they were still just trying to get back to the last reality they know.

Why are they still trying to still his wife and kid if they're the different versions created from J1 who co-existed already, but now got access to the universe we know because of that box and why are they staying and not trying to go to another universe again? Is it because non of them have that formula left or because each Jason has different personalities because of changing circumstances or making different decisions in this short amount of time even though they're not too much different from J1? I'm asking this because this show framed prime Jason as he didn't change regardless of desperate situation when he was in another universe. He also wanted to steal life from another Jason. So if those other Jasons are version of prime Jason then I wonder if they realise it's not their universe or they just became different Jason(personality changed) like Jason 2 because of making different kind of decisions? (because prime Jason just wanted to get back to his own universe) In that short amount of time? Hope my question makes sense haha

These versions we are seeing are not from other established realities like J2 where they had their own lives and own histories that they want to get back to.
These Jason's spawned because of the choices made during J1s time in the Box, so their goal is still the same as J1.
So they don't see it as J1 reality. Remember in the ep8 when one of the Jasons says, "we all see ourselves as J1 and him as J2, but we all cant be J1". They don't see it as his wife, its their wife, its their son. Becuase they are the same.
I know it's a bonkers idea lol
So look at it like this.
This is happening all time and we would never know, the YOU that made a left turn, split from the YOU that made a right turn.
When that happened you BOTH had the same families, life, job, etc waiting for you, the branching realites have everything you had before the decisions to turn left or right. So you have no need to want anything else, you have what you need.
But these Jasons didnt get that, they were spawned in the box, they don't have a versions of Danilla and Charlie at home in a reality, they all just have J1 reality.

So they all spawned in the box itself when prime Jason was trying to find his way therefore made decisions and other Jasons made another decisions within the box( which has created his alternative reality within the box or even when he was visiting different universes) so they all share same universe. Is that correct? Although, if there was no box they wouldn't have ended up in the same universe. They're all ended up in the same universe because prime Jason was trying to get to the universe we know and therefore other Jasons too. But they all have the same history.
But here's the thought experiment
I think if they get more of those compounds then they all can open the gate and go to alternative reality where Daniella and Charlie exist because according to quantum mechanics theoretically there are infinite number of same universe(prime Jason's universe) exist because his wife and his son has also must have made different decisions every second splitting from the main universe that we know, the way they showed how box works they all can imagine and feel of the universe where other Jasons(only versions of prime Jason) doesn't exist prior to open the gate. And they can all go to their separate universes splitting from the same universes. And defeat J2 and claim their life again and all Jasons can close the Box afterwards including prime Jason that way no one have to die haha and there will be no paradox anymore. But that will be boring I guess so maybe that's why they designed the show like that.
Or if it is not possible then, Daniella, Charlie and prime Jason can use the box given that now they have those capsules. And let Daniella choose the world where Jason doesn't exist and then further paradox from Jason1 will stop. And they can seal away the box to stop any paradox from Daniella too. But I've a hunch writer is going to make it more complex he won't end it like that haha. There are other characters we still have to see their actions. For example J2 and J1 investor friend and Amanda has now 2-3 capsules. And then there are few other characters whose stories are still developing I believe.

Has anyone figured out how the box came into existence in the prime universe?
When you travel to a universe it's like building a bridge between the two. So when J2 traveled there the box manifests in the same place in space/time.

If in that Chicago they built a freeway in that spot then yup 👍🏻
If it was a park, someone's home lol, etc.
The question is if they moved the box or built another one would it manifest in that other location. Like if they built one in Japan, that's where you would come out if you want in that version of the box.

Evil Jason is the main Jason because he started it all.
EJ has his own variants and started other issues, but J1 and EJ both existed independently of each other after the decision.
Neither is more the main than the other.
For the purpose of the show though our main Jason is J1.

I love your "review/explanation" videos because you explain the Science--which I have a hard time with..
Anyway, since the other Jasons began appearing [episode 7], my thinking has been that the only way the show can resolve the storyline is for all of the "clones" to somehow reunite. And, you state that "quantum convergence" is the scientific way that can happen. So, now that's my #1 Theory for how the show will end.
Previously, I was thinking that Jason1, Daniela, and Charley would have to escape into the Box, and travel to a place where all the other Jasons can not find them.
I can't hardly wait to find out what the series' writers do.

I may try to put out one more about episode 9 being called Entanglement, because that principle about how they are all connected and react to each other on a quantum level is important I think.
