As a “Jason 6er”, this fan of your channel was not upset. Sorry to hear that some comments were not kind. I like your recaps videos because it’s like talking to a friend about the show and theories. So I really enjoyed the comments on theories on who “Jason 6” was and what he wanted. And then this week we got all the JasonS lol Appreciate the videos, hope you are enjoying it.
I feel for you. I have learned that the audio description numbering system of the characters is based on their order of appearance, not which jason world number they are from. Like Jason 1 world or Evil Jason World etc. Cuz Dawn 3 is in Jason 1's world. Dawn 2 was the one we saw 2nd when she shot amanda and killed her while Jason 1 and Amanda 1 were watching from around the corner of the box before escaping back into the box and going to another dimension.
You are great. This video is well planned out and well analysed. All is structured. Easy to fallow, no haste conclusions from the thick air. Very logical.
Not sure if anyone else noticed. It might be a filming prop mistake but in the past episode when Jason 2 got Charlie a car, it was a RED 4th GEN RAV 4. Charlie's RAV4 in episode 8 is a 5th GEN RED RAV4. So unless this was a filming error where they used 2 different cars, this universe is probably a close parallel to the OG universe, but NOT the OG universe that OG jason is from. Jason 1 probably entered a universe meant for a version of Jason 1, and theres probably a few versions of Jason 2s as well.
Don't sweat last week, dude. Your reviews are interesting & you are appreciated. As for episode 8... 1-Remember, Evil Jason set up a video camera outside the box. Assuming it's still there, it's a way to determine how many Jason1 clones have arrived at this universe. AND, if the Box is re-sealed, it stops any more Jasons from arriving. 2-Prediction/Major Twist: Jason1 and Evil Jason unite to get rid of (kill? put back in the box?) ALL the other Jasons. They do so, and rid this world of the Jason clones. They then decide to co-exist in this world, with Evil Jason relocating to another country. One last thing, that we may have over-looked in episode 8: the Jason who smoked the cigar, got arrested, met with Daniela at the jail, and later at the Chicago Bean may NOT be Jason1. Remember, Jason1 had a hotel room. Why, after meeting the clone in the bar, would Jason1 decide to sleep out in the open, on a park bench, rather than return to his hotel room? Bottom line: Daniela may have reunited with the "wrong" Jason--a clone, not Jason1. We'll see next week.

While watching the episode, I thought good Jason was trying to get arrested to stay safe from the other Jasons, lol. Then as I continued watching, it made sense. I'm missing Amanda! I like Detective Dawn version better. Wondering what Charlie has to do with Kankeekee or whatever that word is the 2 Jasons were talking about. So, now there is/can be an infinite number of Jasons? I think good Jason, Daniela, & Charlie will have to get into the box & go somewhere else to hide from all of the Jasons. This episode reminded me so much of the original Orphan Black with a bit of the movie Butterfly Effect mixed in with some Constellation. I liked Constellation, but it had more scientific, theories, etc. Dark Matter doesn't get too technical, even though there's a zillion Jasons, lol.
Why do the other Jason 1s all simultaneously assume this is the right world ? There’s no way they all observed Daniella long enough to all know that’s the right one.
They know because of the bar they are all Jason 1 just variation of him, The problem with this plot hole is that this does not happen to Jason 2. Every time he goes into the box Jason 2 doesn't spawn variants of himself. . So why is this different for Jason 1?

Jason 2 can use the box like a pro. But Jason one (prime) were amateur. Many decisions were made and created another(1.1,1.2,1.3,1.4,and so on) What will make Daniella and Charlie stay with the right one/pick the right one is the prime OG one is warm. The other version one Jason 1(1.1,1.2,1.3 etc) got thru a lot , had a rough paths and they are already changed. Same goal to get family back but they are already dark and rough, messed up versions. So I hope Jason prime OG will win. They have ampules / or all jason are killed. Or jason with the gun can help and put bodies in the box and he took ampule and travel to Amanda and give ampule back to lost Ryan (the euphoria Chicago that Amanda is in might be the same world that Ryan got lost. Poor Ryan.

(also it is possible there are replicas of amanda because just like jason 1 she too used the compound incorrectly i.e. not taking the serum before entering the box) were created by the box, so i think destroying the box will make the replicas vanish...like erases them from existence.
I think all these Jasons branched off from “our” Jason during the course of this show. They mentioned that each decision made in the box created a new Jason “branch.” So that means all of these new Jasons are “our” Jason. They’re all madly in love with Daniela and desperate to get her and Charlie back. They were all kidnapped by Evil Jason. They all knew Amanda and traveled with her. And they all are talented physicists who chose Daniela instead of a high-paying corporate job. If there’s a mechanic Jason somewhere, he would have branched off long ago, and may not have any motivation to this world (he may not know Daniela, for example).
It really does seem like Jason1 is the level headed nonviolent person and Jason2 is the opposite. Also Jason1 probably learned from the different worlds making contact at the house isn't a good idea
What’s with the money? How do Jasons get cash? Why is there different types of US currency in the locker? My guess is the locker is the key to how this season wraps. The only remaining ampules are there. So, once Daniella tells that to 1, he’ll head there and meet up with 2. The showdown. Meanwhile Ryan and Amanda show up because we know she has 2 ampules. So in a way, the keys to where this is all headed are follow the money and follow the ampules. By the way, did 10 give 1 money so we knew we are in the right world? It kind of looked like the cash we are used to. And, wasn’t it 2 who mentioned something about money between worlds?
Well if Daniela and Jason 1 reenter the box. Other versions of Daniela x and Jason x would also enter the box. In the end there would be a world where multiple Daniela x and Jason x end up.
The theory that I'm hearing is that you only have the "clone effect" if you take the drug INSIDE the Box. It's been pointed out that Evil Jason ALWAYS takes the drug outside of the Box, whereas Jason1 was always taking the drug inside the Box. Again, it's a theory. Maybe the show will give a greater explanation in the last episode.
All Jasons are legitimate, including Jason 2. But box Jasons are relevant/real to our world since they all share the same experiences upon entering the box that first time. Jason Jupiter got lucky since he got to Daniella first and convinced her to trust him. This is exciting and a very morally grey place for Daniella, Jason Jupiter, and all the box Jasons.

Your recaps were great… when bad Jason kills one of the Jason’s I almost died (thinking it was main Jason) so it is easy to confuse this confusing series🤦🏾♀️😅. I still enjoyed it very much once I got it all straight. I thought it was smart for main Jason to get arrested and bring Daniella to the police station than to try to confront the house without giving his family any context.sad that the season is over. Oh by the way I don’t know how to turn on something on my tv to help me differentiate the different Jasons
Appears the Jason’s are heading to a confrontation - Jason A vs Jason B - maybe they want to switch worlds? Too many Jason’s to track. Thankfully Constellation has been cancelled - it was awful.
Possibly each Jason that splits off via each decision becomes more diluted and weaker. But immediately you have to take into account a whole lifetime worth of Jason's already existing in different alternate universes... so that kind of nullifies that theory. I'm just surprised half these Jason's got got, seeing as they're a tad messed up.... but somehow had a clear enough mind to will themselves back to this universe. I'm thinking: the box; that's where to go, then on to Pleasantville Chicago. Or: Season 2 (Please).
Dark Matter is great and I can't wait for the season crescendo. However, I must comment that i disagree with your take on why Constellation was cancelled...I stopped watching after 3 episodes not because it was confusing with too many universes, but because it was a boring show. The show "Counterpart" had a very simplified character set with no confusion, but that show was also cancelled...because it was also a boring show. Funny...I had forgotten about Constellation until you mentioned it in this video, and I'm not surprised in the least that they cancelled it. The concepts were great, but the story being told wasn't.
Fair enough, but there's no need to disagree. I was just throwing a thought out there. My thoughts were based on the peopl3 that commented on my videos from when i was covering the show. Most people just found it cinfing from what i saw. Again, I have no idea why it got canceled, lol. I had fun with the show, but I totally get why people didn't vibe with it.
i noticed jason who had crash accident while driving with danila and charlie had his hand out of the window with a yellow rubber band on his finger like the original jason, is danila with a copy ? cuz they hide his hand when he hug charlie also when he is under the chicago cloud gate ...im totaly confused if she is with the real one or not
ITS NOT JASON 6!!!! ITS SIMPLY THE 6TH JASON THAT WE HAVE SEEN UP UNTIL THAT POINT. AT THAT POINT WE ONLY KNOW OF THREE JASONS AFTER THE SECOND ONE ENTERED THE STORE. So it doesn't mean there were 6 Jason's in that world at the moment. Just means we have seen six including the ones in other worlds Jason 1 visited.

I liked ‘Constellation’ too… but it didn’t really go anywhere. I wanted to see where they took this intriguing concept, but nothing really happened.

That's a good catch. It just might be a prop mistake, like you said, but knowing this show, it just might be something worth keeping an eye on.
