Speculation here. I see Ryan, in the utopian version of Chicago, bumping into Amanda in her green dress from the restaurant and knocking her purse to the ground, whereupon the contents spill out on the ground, and the capsules are seen by him. "What are these? Who are you? Where did you get them?" he asks her. Episode 9 ends with a chance for another season.
I don’t think it’s “Evil” Jason (though he may also be evil). Despite being credited as Jason 6, it appears to essentially be a 3rd Jason in this “universe” who is a version of Jason 1 also trying to get his life back based on the clothes. I wonder what that sleeping Jason is credited as.
You missed the point of the scene in the gun shop! The second Jason wasn't the evil Jason was another good Jason. The splits of realities continued to happen even after good Jason was kidnapped. I think every time he opened a door the was split of the good Jason into multiple possible realities. All all of those good Jasons want to come back to the same reality. Crazy stuff lol.
When Jason turns before leaving Amanda's new world it looks like the world that Ryan was dumped in. I dont think that look back was random. I think Ryan is going to find Amanda somehow and the ampules that were snuck into her bag is what he will use to go back to his original world. This was my favorite episode so far! 3rd Jason was a major plot twist. I was literally like 😦😮🤯. I actually thought it was the end of the season based on the ending. Soooo I am excited to learn that there are two whole episodes left! can't wait!
Every time there's a snapping sound it signifies a jump from one jason to another. in the last episode we see how it jumps from one jason to what seems to be the same jason watching his burned house, but it's not the same jason. The probably started splitting after he started jumping alone without Amanda so we're going to see a bunch o Jasons probably
Yeah, I have been seeing this theory go around. I'm not sure how I feel about them introducing more than 2 Jason's, but we will have to see how it works out.

I like the show overall, but agree with you about plot and pacing inconsistencies. Granted, it's hard to push complex storylines and characters into 8 episodes, creative culling is necessary. But, it feels they'll sacrifice internal logic/consistency for a big payoff. Example 1: why carrying currency from reality to reality is difficult. Nice insight, great world building. Then our hero somehow finds money to purchase top end pepper-spray and a knife. Brand name dropping, cool, but that knife alone is like $350? Did they find a way to get money for hotels, food, restaurants with each jump? Example 2: Jason 2 easily busts through the box's concrete barrier with a simple sledge hammer. This after all the buildup and visual payoff of sealing off this world's box. 🤷🏾♂
While watching, I didn't catch that "Holly" was a sister. When Good Jason came in contact with his son in the kitchen & called him, "Charlie," he said, "It's your other son." With captions on, it showed Jason at the end of the episode as, "Jason 6." Who knows how many Jasons there are there now, lol. It might turn into Orphan Black.
Max said I have her heart. That's why I think they are siblings, and in Jason 1s universe, Max had a heart condition. That's my thinking anyway, I could hear it wrong, lol

Amanda is in love with Jason and probably more in love with this Jason as she effectively “tamed the asshole” out of him. So when they went in the box together her love in her mind was sending them to the wrong door. She found a decent universe (they had cold fusion) and I assume on the surface it’s looked like a utopia to her. She stays, Jason goes and 100% of the mind energy/subconscious is focused on his wife and not split. It seems he got home that way and would not be able to that with Amanda.
Also, what about the hotel drinks, dinners previously? I think Amanda had her purse when they initially got into the box. Maybe that's our answer: Credit card & some cash.
Surprise! It's not Evil Jason that asks to buy a gun. It's another copy of Good Jason. Just like how Jason found a world where he didn't escape from Evil Jason's world because they tried to leave too late, there are an infinite number of copies of Good Jason that have had different experiences over the past few months as they all try to get back to their original world. They're not radically different Jasons - some may have just had different experiences going back to only a few hours ago (like the Jason that was shot to death trying to escape a copy of Evil Jason's world) Problem is, those infinite Good Jasons are all trying to get back to the exact same world. Many won't make it, but those that do will have to deal with all the doppelgangers.
I have a good theory, original Jason did not visit his family because he knew Jaye had taken over his life and was with Amanda. The scene where Jason watches his family is the 3rd Jason, whose Amanda died. He didn't suspect Jaye had taken over his life, which is why he went straight to his family, explaining the gap before the gun shop visit.
WE'VE BEEN SIMULTANEOUSLY FOLLOWING TWO JASON1S AND TWO JASON2S: I was rewatching some of the episodes (jumping around really) ahead of episode 8 being released. What I discovered is that we have been following two Jason1s and two Jason2s simultaneously with their stories overlapping. The giveaway lies in the small details in terms of the layout and decor of their homes -the brownstone. It's practically pointed out to us in the first episode when Jason2 is having trouble making coffee. If you pay attention to the coffee pot's location you'll see that half of the time it's immediately to the right of the fridge and the other half of the time it's to the left of the blender which is left of the sink. Also, the pictures on the walls near the bottom of the stairs change as well depending on which home we're in at the time.
Jason 3 is the Jason from the reality where Amanda got shot.. think about it.. that Jason also was trying to go home, and that Jason is also Jason 1 that got kidnapped by Jason 2. So like… now we have 3 Jasons… Jason 1 (the Jason that was with Amanda the whole time), Jason 2 (Evil Jason) and now Jason 3 (Jason 1 from the world where Amanda got killed). What’s gonna happen now?? Jason 1 and 3 will fight for that world? How many other possible worlds could have been created while Jason 1 was trying to go back to his? Meaning.. we could have many points where a new reality was created during Jason’s journey to go home.. meaning, we could have an infinite number of Jasons trying to go back to the same world.. causing and infinite paradox that will destroy all realities or something catastrophic like that 🤷🏻♂️. Just theories and more theories!
At the end of the episode, I believe it was a 2nd “good Jason. They were wearing the same clothes as one another. It would not make sense that evil Jason would be wearing the same clothing. Additionally if you look closely, you will see faint scarring on the face of both Jason‘s Throughout the entire series, they have used facial scars/damage to tell the narrative between good and bad Jason. Again to reiterate, both Jason‘s were wearing the same clothes and had the same facial damage. This indicates to me a second Jason bringing the total to three Jason‘s in this particular dimension
What about jason 3 and ryan and amanda on same world new branches of worldtype of jason 1 from last 30 days creating 99% copies reminded me of primer … multiple boxes was my first thought but they went with multiple jason 1’s . This show is really good

It wasn't him randomly thinking about his wife that brought him there he was clearly able to do this because Amanda wasn't subconsciously blocking his thoughts as she told him, that is why she is staying behind, He left her two capsules incase she wants to return my guess is that she is in the same world as Ryan 1 and they both will return to Jason 1 world not sure what Jason 3 will be doing in this world tag team evil Jason??🤔

No, they are different versions of the same person who deeply love Daniella and want to get back to a world where they can be with her. If Jason 2 was evil, he would have just took Leighton's money and not spent time training him to find his ideal world where he could be with grandfather again, and risking going back to his world for more ampoules for Leighton. If he was evil, he would have just killed Ryan rather then taking him to a "more progressive and kinder world i thought my friend would like". Ryan liked it so much he was almost in tears. And finally, if he was evil, he wouldn't have asked Jason 1 in the beginning, "Are you happy with your life? If you could, would you do things differently?" He could have easily killed and dropped the body off in any random world. But He knew J1 was unhappy with his career, so he gave him his life, where he has wealthy and had professional accomplishment 🤷♂️. He's more of an anti hero then evil to me

That's not evil Jason in the last scene. That is Jason #6. You missed the fact that he looks exactly like "good Jason" except for the brace on his hand. This means that this Jason has also had his trials and tribulations in trying to get back to this world. In the audio settings for the hearing impaired, the voiceovet says this is Jason #6, so this means that as good. Jason has traveled to different worlds. He has triggered a new timeline in the multiverse and thus created another. Jason.
