bigghoss762 because the dime has tweezers, package opener and the squirt does not. Watch it again and listen closely. They say the samething. Besides they already did review on the dime and squirt. This was a game.

I've owned the dime and I own a Squirt ps4. Squirt is awesome and while the dime has a couple things I like that the Squirt doesn't have I just think the dime has to many problems I cant stand
Good job, guys. I give Squirts away to people all the time. I always carry one in my watch pocket because it's tiny and it's useful for those times when I don't have either my Surge or Spirit on my belt.
The Dime has a clamshell opener and instead you used the knife! The clamshell opener makes opening those easy.

That's true but I think they didn't use it because they wanted both tools to be used equally
Personally I would love to see a claimshell opener obe the Squirt

The Leatherman Juice is the smallest multi-tool I feel comfortable carrying. I like it a lot.

Love this videos guys! Next one do a tactical pen competition. Breaking bricks, glass, skulls, etc.
You Hey, Blade HQ, I got this idea. You know how you guys do the contests with the knife obstacle course? I was thinking you could either do a different type of contest or add this element to the “obstacle” course. Have part of the course be a segment or several different segments in which you have all the different types of opening methods represented by their respective knives and have the contestants open and close each type of mechanism like 5 or10 times. For instance, there could be a CRKT Snaplock, a flipper, an out-the-front knife, a back lock, a CRKT Fulcrum, and any other type of mechanism ( There could also be a Spyderco hole-type that needs to be Spydee flicked too. ) . I just think that the finesse required to open and close should be incorporated into the fun. PLEASE!!!!??!!??!!??!!?
What I learned from this video is that keychain multitools are not meant for everyday tasks and there is an increased potential for injury with such a small tool if you try to use it for things it wasn't intended. I was sure your finger was going to slip on the filing challenge and gouge your finger.
I have the same Leatherman, compact and well built construction with beautiful design. Overall great little tool

p.s. I own a huntsman, use it around but not EDC.
I really like your competition videos and I think you guys should have a large fixed blade competition were you baton and chop. My favorite large fixed blade, even though I dont have it Is the becker bk 7
I wish i had one of these multi tools. I have a multi tool called a Trim, for those who never seen one, it has a bottle opener, a flathead screwdriver (on the bottle opener), a nail file, and a sheepfoot knife (about and inch long).
I am eagerly awaiting the full sized multi-tool follow up to this video!!!
I know this is an old video but I am a fan y'all should have used the two finger method of like skinning animal and that would have worked I use a multi-tool pretty often I carry one of them and a pocket knife everyday
The squirts scissors are the best part of it. I cut everything with them. paper and clothe is easy. My squirt I cant get one of the screw drivers out thats the only problem I have with it. But I think its just the one I have.
thanks for making this video I was thinking about getting a keychain multi tool but after watching this video they're not very good or reliable tools.

should have them done the same things. they should have taken turns spinning the wheel with both of them having to do the same task. this was pointless without a side by side comparison.
Key chain multi tools just aren't reliable or all that practical, I'm never far from one of my many full size leathermans
With the scissors I am a lefty so they would most likely not work correctly because of me being left handed...
I carry a victoronox huntsman BSA wood badge edition on my keys its a little big but i love it.
would buy the squirt if it had better quality blade steel than 420hc. goes dull after a few cuts.
Next competition you should use a machete! Though please don't even bother to use a cold steel machete.
You should have used the package opener on the Gerber Gear Dime to open the retail packaging.

Didnt watch this vid yet, but I gotta say, I love my Gerber Dime (got at Walmart). Just got my new Gerber Shard & the red Res-Q-Me tool in the mail. Looking forward to who wins this competition!!
In practice, these two work about the same. Neither is ideal (but for the size that's completely understandable) but you can get tasks done with them. However, my brother has owned both and likes his squirt (which I got him for Christmas) far more than the dime. In fact the reason I got him the leatherman was that his dime had the key ring and one of the tools break. In typical Gerber fashion, the materials and quality control are the downside. It's really a shame because it is a neat little tool. Just don't expect it to last.
Should be timing ⏱ people at each station not how fast someone gets to each station. Lol

The file on the file is the mostvuseless thing ever. Gerber it is not even a file.
I actually have three squitrs, and one is over 8 years old.

Great competition, however, the wheel and time limits were not necessary. In fact, those attributes of the competition detracted from the actual test in that the competition was in the use of the tool, not the number of tasks or time it took to complete the tasks. You guys running around seemed pointless. Fastest time wins? Why?
I thought if I had squirt I wouldn't want bottle opener or if I had dime I wouldn't want file they both got their tools weak point
The jerky shack I dont mind the bottle opener on the Squirt myself. As for the dime's file i think they should have made it longer and put it where the package opener is and make the package opener shorter and put it where the file is.
