- Flip Aquatics was started in 2014 with the idea of breeding shrimp and selling them in the USA. Today, I am happy to come back to these roots and introduce a new direction we are heading. We are introducing 126+ aquariums for breeding high end Caridina shrimp. Our goal is to provide education, sell healthy shrimp and to be the largest breeder in the USA. This is very exciting for me! Sit back and enjoy the journey!
Today, we go over 40 aquariums that we are currently using to breed a range of shrimp. From Neocaridina to Caridina and a little in the middle, I'm excited to show this new side to our business. Let me know what you think in the comment section down below! Happy Fathers Day to all you dads out there!

Ya was waiting for coffee with you for a while now

Very cool
Welcome back ! Happy Fathers day everyone
Welcome back Rob. The different varieties of shrimp are always so cool to see. Thanks for the video.
I am so jealous.
Yes
All of your shrimp are awesome and I want some. Its sad your website doesn't allow shipping shrimp to Hawai'i. Why is that option there if I can't get it shipped here?
Thank you for your friendly Amano shrimps! They are a pure delight!
Hey Great video.
What’s the plant in the Princes Bee tank?
Where have you been!!!!!?????
It would be nice to see all of the tanks have some wood in them to enrich the life of the shrimp
The algae on the glass there is a nerites dream
I have a question I have three different types of shrimp one blue velvet and black rose and peppermint shrimp but my black rose and blue velvet shrimp have mixed breeded what type of shrimp would it b called then they have like a blue velvet look with alot of black in-between and some black with blue stripes
Glad to see you back! Any idea what type of moss that is? (The stuff that almost looks like algae)
👍👍
This a fantastic business run by good people only down side is there so popular and on a larger scale then most breeders so there prices reflect compared to other places. I wish it didn’t have to be that wY
Glad your back! Do you grow that algae with bacter ae? What’s the secret?
I have 2 of your bamboo shrimp. I never see them. They hide all the time. Its been months since our last sighting. I'm hoping they are still alive. They are in a community tank.
Hi mate do you ship to Australia.
What’s that rare moss I would love to have some I have been looking for something like that
What is the substrate you use and why? im currently going to setup my first shrimp tank (cherries) and im looking for an alternative to black sandblasting sand at medium grit, as i heard dark substrate causes their colors to become more dominant.
Hi ,Have you ever used Tropica Soil ? in your expirience which soil has longer and better ph buffering capacity ? ADA or Tropica or Neo ? Thank you
I haven't used tropica, but I have used a lot of others. Our favorite is by far brightwell rio escuro. It's amazing. ADA is good too but leaches ammonia for a while. Let me know if you have any other questions.
@@LupDiesel Thank you for your replie.
I remember you lol
Sa many aquariums, so much water, but were are the shrimps? With 4 aquariums I have more shrimps.
High end shrimp 😭😭😭😭👍
Does anyone know what exact shrimps you have to mate to get a Galaxy boa? I can't find the info online
So, now I know why your website is out of 40 gl breeders matten filters. When they’re back in stock am snapping a couple.
Shame my water isn’t good for caridina shrimp. These things are gorgeous.
Osmosis filter is your friend =)
Interesting you struggle with yellow neos, out of all my neos yellow is one of the ones that have bred the most and i keep them anywhere from high and low 7ph and roughly 80°F
Welcome back!
Hope you dont mind me asking, but I have 2 questions for you.
1 - Would you know why random Caradina shrimp become 'giant shrimp'? I have bred babies before, and sometimes you get some which are tripple the size of their brothers/sisters. (mostly male in my case)
2 - Why are female caradina so hard to keep alive? Males are no problem, but they seem to die on me on the last week of their berried cycle.
9:52 what do you mean by that? The difference parameters, is that different substrate?
Hey Rob what is members only
Now i know why i can't find a 40 breeder to save my life.
Do you have any sulawesi shrimp,
I would keep the shrimp in there, I would put a couple hundred Endlers in there and just let them breed like crazy. Then I would put some rock piles in the back and corners, shrimp love to breed and rock piles.
I'm confused didn't You already buy a bunch of 120 Tanks and now You have switched to 40's.
Shrimp salad, anyone? No no joking.
How did this turn out?
Really good! We actually are doing the breeding in our gallery now. We have roughly 30 tanks set up for scaped tanks and breeding. We just did a video on it if you want to check it out. It's the 480 gallon update video
@@LupDiesel ahh yeah, I did check that out. So awesome!
Do you have any videos on your start, bringing your first fish to the sales process, finding clients, etc.?
That seems like a major challenge in all of this.
HELP!!! How do I get rid of LEACHES in my neo tank?!?!
Anyone? Help, please.....
Father's and 🦐 what more could you ask for
Re upload?
Anyone know the plant at 12:45?
👍
