this video is so juicy and powerful. so much content in just 8 minutes. great job mate. 1 thing i'd like to add is that PH works in a very crazy way. it works on power of 10, so a PH of 4 is 10 times more acidic that a PH of 5 and 100 times more acidic than a PH of 6
Got my shipment of Bug Buffet all the way out here in Canada a couple weeks ago, everything in my tank goes nuts for it, shrimp, killis, corys, snails, I understand if some people don't like the constant promo but it just reminds me how awesome your food actually is - you should be proud dude!
Just got into the shrimp/snail keeping back in Sept and its been a fun ride. I never knew how much enjoyment you can get from just watching cherry shrimp and mystery snails. Really informational, love the series with Glen guys!
@@gudynator4245 make sure your water ph bellow 6.5, slowly, decrease it. I have experience with them, yes they can breed even with ph 7, but they do better with ph around 6.5 to 5.5 please be careful, do it slowly and gradually, because with the change of ph or other parameters, it seems they need to have new skin to adapt/molting, and that's risky, irregular molting. If your shrimps is adult. I found cherrys breed like crazy at 82F but don't live as long. I like the longer vids, but these style vids is your bread and butter. Keep up the good content.
I learned something new: no ceramic media. 🤯 I use a sponge filter and hob with ceramic media and I have kh creep. Now I know why. Thank you!!!!! The ceramic media will be removed asap.
Same here, and I was kill too many shrimps, just to realize this, Glen is very genius. Ok, so not rocks and no filter media again for crystal shrimps, but I know neo media company from Korea🇰🇷, have some filter media which bring down the ph, how you think about it?
great video, love glen's tips! got to remind myself to stop over feeding my shrimp! can't wait till more of my shrimp breed! can't wait for the next video.
hey man, love the work you have put into your little fish world i only dream of getting into the hobby like you but I'm just young and honestly have no idea how to start, i was wondering what 20-gallon tanks you use for breeding fish?
I have a question about whats being talked about around the 4 minute mark. What is the Otto's he is talking about to get the brown algae off? Maybe I'm just hearing it wrong because I'm not a native English speaker.
I am thoroughly confused. When I research BTOE shrimp the water parameters are really different to what is specified in the video. He also breeds BTOE I saw in an earlier video. Whats the trick for those?
Hello, I am a huge fan of you and the truly wonderful videos you produce, but I would like to ask you a request. I would like you to say in the next video your wishes to stop the killing of civilians in Palestine by the Israeli settler government.
You really can't. At my store we sell a 3" Oscar for $35 USD. We sell a neocaradina shrimp for $6.66 USD. It takes SO much more than 5x the time and money to breed Oscars and raise them to 3" than it does to breed shrimp. And that's just cherry shrimp. Cardinals sell for around $10 each!
F. OK. IM WAY WAY OVER FEEDING.. I THOUGHT IF THEY WERE WELL FED, HAPPY, THEY ‘F’. BUT JUST LET THEM GO TO IT IN THE MOSS N PLANTS, EH?! BETWEEN THIS AND YOURBUCKET.I AM WAY OVER THINKINGTHIS.

I had no a single thought that watching snails can be so enjoyable. Have only snails in my aquarium, gotta get some shrimps too.
I just bought shrimp off you so this is PERFECT timing 🥰. Im literally obsessed with breading shrimp and I got my first blue dreams off you!
I got my daughter 4 red Rili shrimp last year now i got like 300 and i sold over 200 they keep popping up more and more every week 🤦🏾♂️
Congratulations

Agreed, I feel like a fool . Especially when so many of us choose special rocks because of kh

I love your videos, you are kind of my mentor. I started building my aquarium shop based on your videos and ideas. Thank you so much 👍.
Definitely learned some good info here... I've always failed at these guys but ready to try again
great video, love glen's tips! got to remind myself to stop over feeding my shrimp! can't wait till more of my shrimp breed! can't wait for the next video.
Very helpful information based on experience, thank you!
Great video. Short and to the point.
My tap water KH is around 2, so hopefully that is enough. I do find that all of my tanks have an acidic PH. Very helpful video, Thankyou.
I suggest to get down your kh, but you say your ph is acid with kh 2, may I know the value of your water ph?
Months ago my crs arrived only one had made it . Wensday I ordered my other crs Oder so this comes in just in time . I know my tanks healthy as heck
Very helpful info; thank you! Now I know what I've been doing wrong and how to change it!

How do you get the glass green? I’ve had growing colonies for a couple years, yet my glass does not grow algae.
Hi, what does he mean when he says he gets rid of brown algae with autos? At around 4:02?
Otocinclus algae eating fish
Glen's great thanks Guys.
Did you ask him what brand of soil he uses to buffer the ph down
I leave this comment, in case the answer is coming
What moss was used in the black and white car. tank?
Subwassertang moss
What is a good product for fish with disease?
I have a question about whats being talked about around the 4 minute mark. What is the Otto's he is talking about to get the brown algae off? Maybe I'm just hearing it wrong because I'm not a native English speaker.
Otto is the shortened name for Otocinclus. A small, peaceful algae eater
Enjoyed that video, thank you
Great info
ideal tank size to breed those shrimps?
Great video! thanks.
Another option to lower ph for already low kH water= phosphoric acid food grade. *not direct put into tank
I am thoroughly confused. When I research BTOE shrimp the water parameters are really different to what is specified in the video. He also breeds BTOE I saw in an earlier video. Whats the trick for those?
I'm sure same parameters as this video, also ideal with the tiger shrimps
Make guide on gourami fish breeding.
hey guys do someone know what is autos i think in 4:03

What does he use to get rid of brown algae. I didnt understand
He uses the Otocinclus dwarf sucker fish
Hmmm
.... This give me answer why I kill so much caridina crystal shrimps variants, because I use some filter media
4:03 what are Autos?
Otocinclus Catfish "Ottos"

First lol ❤
i get so confused with reuploads ;--;
Hi umm why dont uou try breeding biger fish like oscars because you can make more money out of them
You really can't. At my store we sell a 3" Oscar for $35 USD. We sell a neocaradina shrimp for $6.66 USD. It takes SO much more than 5x the time and money to breed Oscars and raise them to 3" than it does to breed shrimp.

Crystal shrimps and their variants, have more expensive value, compared with the weight and size of the fish
