    Sliding boards....can a player slide down one using physics or do I set up way points to go down?

    Anyone know how to make an object, like an apple, stay in the tree, but when you grab it, you can throw it and it has physics? Seems like this should be possible as I see a lot of gaming possibilities with it, but I can't figure out how to do it. If you turn simulations off in the script, then you can't grab it. If you use a trigger to turn the simulations on, then it falls from the tree before you can grab it. Nothing I've tried works and none of the "custom physics" tutorials I've watched mention it.

      maybe have your normal non-physical apple to the tree, and then add an invisible , physic/grabbable apple resting on an invisible object,
      you will see the grabbable circle, and when you grab it, it toggles the visibility on on the physical one and hides the static apple.
      This, of course , doubles your objects but it may do the trick.
