Luke Skywalker himself was "The Trickster" in the short lives superhero series The Flash (1990-1991). His maniacal laugh was some kind of audition for his voice acting performance as the Joker in Batman: The Animated Series.

Trickster was essentially the “Joker” for Flash, he was maniacal, he was evil, but for the most part had great intellect in which he would organize his games and traps kind of like the Joker.

Is kind of interesting to see Mark Hamill play as the trickster to see he's like the Prototype as the Joker so later on in 1992 he get the part to play as the Joker

I love that the creators of the newest Flash TV series got him back as the dad of the modern day Trickster. The creators even used footage of the 90s series to show his antics in newspapers.

Good lord, putting aside the Joker laugh, the music in these scenes sounds an awful lot like that of the Joker from the Batman Animated Series too. Have to wonder whether some "inspiration" was taken from this...
