Yes! He was a unique character! He could of been another Michael Jackson. Lol He could of sneak him way into our heart because his music had a story line and it had substance. He could of won a lot. Too bad of him uncalled death. Dam! I am mad cause of that but that's the will of god? Lol Make prayer and pray for all of us! Love it all ! In God's word! Amen
Oh my gosh!! Oh my gosh!! I found it!! At long last, after over three decades of looking for this, I had finally found this beautiful song. It is Jermaine Stewart: Say it Again. I grew up thinking that this was New Edition. Continue to rest peacefully and live on in Heavenly Paradise. The world loves you, miss you, and will always remember Jermaine Stewart.❤
He was one of the best eighties artist Besides Janet Jackson, 5Star, Taylor Dayne, Debarge , Mr Jermaine Stewart was a gift we all miss you Rest in Peace.
I used to love this song back in the day....Still sounds very good...He passed away at a very young age....So sad....So many talented people seem to die early ....
@@christinewomack8999 I met him I think in 1987. I was modelling in Paris. I bumped into him and Andre in the street. I told him that I was such a huge fan... We talked for a bit and exchanged phone numbers. A great friendship developed. He was so humble, kind , hilarious and so, so handsome. We lost touch over the years and I was so heartbroken when I found out that he had died.
Great singer/performer. Miss these kind of songs. Simple melody & lyrics. Culture Club helped Jermaine get a record deal. He signed with Arista records & had a big hit in the summer of 1986 with We Don't Have To Take Our Clothes Off. Miss you Jermaine.
Oh wow I did not know this was him. I remember this playing on the radio when I was a youngin. I love the fact I was born when I was because I got to here REAL music. Something that is all too rare these days. RIP
What a talent he was. I love that part at 1:00 how he repeated "I Love You" twice as the Chrous and that bassline came in. Such a small thing that I remember capturing me so much as a kid! I would rewind that 5 second bit over and over an over lol Will always love my man Jermaine RIP!
A great song from a great decade (80s). The girl in the video is beautiful. Always loved this song and video. RIP Jermaine, thank you for this great song.
this Guy had so much talent and he could sing a melody that'll put a smile to your face and brighting anyone's day Jermaine Stewart you were definitely a true talent in the 80s I dunno much about him I was born in 1991 probably no didn't know much about him until he died from The AIDS Virus which was a shocker to many who heard this guy on the radio but he did have a lot of good songs Like We dnt have to take our clothes off I thought that was the only song he made until I heard this song and I was like wowww Mr Jermaine Stewart you were an icon and you are TRULLY missed may u continue to Rest in Peace
Darius Cobbs I know he had a lot of good song, but you don't hear on the radio when they play old school music. I think it Sad. But good thing we have RUclips.
A lot of people don't know it, but he was originally on Soul Train in the 70s and was unusually popular for a Soul Train dancer. Most of the music stuff wasn't until the late 70s and into the 80s.
Another 1 of the most underrated talents and unknown great songs that people forget or don't know of, discovered this guy 3 years ago and thought wow! So bought all his music and I'm only 24. People seem to compare him to MJ which is a huge compliment and believe me when I say MJ is my idol! However Jermaine has his own uniqueness id say he has a bit of mj style with a lil touch of prince however I see him as like the black George Michael... So sad he is gone Aswel as my other idols MJ and recently Prince.... It's true what they say All The Best Die Young, Heaven Must Sound A Lot Better Than Earth Right Now With The Shows Those Guys Are Putting On... What I'd give for 1 of those tickets... RIP.
I just found his album "the word is out on vinyl." i love the vinyl form,at and this man is such a damn artist his lyrics and his voice make you happy. Great talented artist.

Jarmaine Stewart had such a great voice .Lovely tones to it. Amazing outfits and he could dance. What talent. He gave the world wonderful singing with his voice and great videos. Very sad such great talent died so young. RIP Jarmaine 💜💛

I only just now found out through another RUclips video today Lamont at large did a video on his grave. Until that I did not hear that he had passed and I didn't even know that he was gay or had aids or anything. Love we don't have to take our clothes off and say it again. I have to go back and find his other songs on here I grew up on 80s music though love listening to him. And watching him back when I could see. I'm blind now so unfortunately I can't see his videos anymore but I sure remember what he looked like.
Jermaine Stewart, the love of my life! I had and still do have the biggest cruch on him. This one of my favorite songs. R.I.P., I will be loving you forever.
Remember in that interview when he said about making videos long vertically as opposed to widescreen? Like he wanted to pioneer that? I think its cool how people now intentionally make vertical music videos for iPhones, yet Jermaine Stewart was the first to do it. Absolute pioneer haha
I did not know that he did Soul-Train in Chicago until I read about it woww thatz new to me and he was actually writing about his affairs with married men but unfortunately due to his pass from AIDS Related Liver Cancer the book was never finished and was never recovered
Why do people have to keep talking about how he died? What about the talent? That's what this should be about!!! Miss you Jermaine will see you in paradise. R.I.P.

Dont care if he was gay, straight or hopping round in a circle he had talent and that demands my respect.
