I first discovered Lisa's amazing voice when attending hometown church in Bloomington, Minnesota, where her husband Spencer is a pastor, and Lisa's sometimes sings.

In 1986, I happened to get my 1st job as a teacher at his former HS in MS, North Natchez high School. I lived a mile from his mom (In Broadmoor) and met him at a club there in Natchez in '87. Went to the same college (Alcorn State). Not many people know, but he was an outstanding linebacker/defensive end in football. An All-around talented guy!!
One of my all time favourite songs. This came out when I was 14. Would sit in my bedroom blasting this out at 14 having to rewind the tape to repeat it. Still love it ❤

Most gorgeous song ever. Everything about it is amazing, light, happy, upbeat. Backgrounds singing, instruments, the 80s were the best, artists really cared about their music&put everything into it. Even the film's of the 80z were best, and they had amazing soundtracks hits. I miss 80s so bad it hurts, makes me cry tbh! I wish can go back.
I recall listening to the chart countdown on the radio in the 80s and the sense of anticipation waiting for this song to start! It fills me with joyous abandon! What a scorcher!!!!!!!! 🌟💥🔥

I remember this so well from the Streatham ice rink in London, they played it every time. I was just a kid but I loved skating to this. So takes me back.

Probably the best song produced by Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis in the golden era of Flyte Tyme studios. Jellybean Johnson's contribution in writing this all time classic along with Alex cannot be ignored. ❤
❤️❤️❤️ Pure class . Best song of the 80s for me xx
We need a big revival of 80s music to get the world calming down back again :) great track, alexander! one of the best of the 80s in my opinion, thanks!
I remember this so well from the Streatham ice rink in London, they played it every time. I was just a kid but I loved skating to this. So takes me back.
Awww
Damn! WOW! Breathtaking! What a song!
The ebb and flow in his voice is infectious..All time classic!!!,and will be relevant forever
Definitely my Alexander O'Neal jam. Always love his voice
Songs like this will never come back. So natural and organic music.
One of greatest tracks of the 1980’s. Still listening in Sep 2021
And now its 2022
This is solid jam. The background vocals totally shred. I still jam this classics don’t die
2022 and Alexander O’Neil deserves all the credits! My 80’s memory 🥰
You know what, one of the best things about being in my 50's now is that I lived my teenage years in the 80's..........Priceless and I wouldn't change them for the world🇬🇧
Same. 💗
He is such a good vocalist and the lady on the chorus has such a pleasant voice too.
I find them very therapeutic to listen to 🙂🙂
I love Alexander O'Neal's music. Such a brilliant artist.
I loved this song together with "Fake", both from Alexander O'Neil.
Indeed. If you were here tonight ??
I don't think Alex is Irish!

I recently watched a certain rose maiden VTuber playing GTA IV and this song was played on one of game's radio stations. I loved it so much that I just *_had_* to look it up.
