i think lego should make a series of "small modular" building like this every year, because many people doesnt have the space for the bigger modulars
Or money if you're poor like me :)
@@GreedyGreedent yes, just like me
Yeah wanting a lego city but don't have the space so maybe I'll get some of these mini modualrs instead
I wish they would also bring back the suburban home sets from the late 2000s and early 2010s, as they were a great value even if they had no interior besides stairs.
Ah yes. Welcome to my entire apartment where I sleep, and look at my flowers.
And where *I dont know how to get down since there is no stairs and im just stuck*

I'm loving the little-by-little improvements of the recording studio and the overall details of your videos. Always enjoying your videos Jang, keep up the passion!
One of the promo pictures uses the kid's nervous face when he's riding the rocket ship amusement ride, that context makes him look scared of the ride.
I bought the Cafe 3 in 1 set and just used the bricks on other builds... the windows and doors are what I really like about these sets.
Bricklink.com is great. Almost world wide. You can buy sets, figures, parts of anything, from now 2020 and back to the first Lego pieces (if you have the money). Most things are cheap but the price does go up depending on availability and age. It's great for lost piece of a favorite set or completely creating your own. My boys n I love it. I even bought my nieces some girl hair, tops n bottoms for a hair salon and clothes shop. * be warned.. your want/buying list can add up. 😅
I love the Creator 3-in-1 line because we get useful parts for MOCs and, most importantly, buildings for our Lego City that isn't a police or fire station.
The all have the look of a simplified modular and look great when paired with them.
We now have so many choices that we can be more critical of what we buy.
These 3-in1 buildings are becoming so good, that’s a serious wink at the expert creator modular buildings there. Not there yet, but a serious wink it sure is.
I bought these for my lego winter village... and shelled out the money for three sets so I could build them all. I was hoping you’d show they could be connected together! If you put the flower shop in the middle, with the toy store to the right and the sweet shop to the left, you can push them all together for a “downtown shopping area” feel. It makes the corner doors and the roof details on the townhouse and bakery make more sense.
I’m not sure if you just meant it as a recolor, but the 3 by 3 by 1 window isn’t new for 2020, they first made it in the summer of 2019 Night Bus Set.
YAY! I was just about to type this! LOVE that 3-wide window and love the Knight Bus!
It is new in this color I think, but yeah, it's not a new mold. The Knight Bus had a generous amount of them in medium lilac (aka dark purple).
@Kim Yo Jong's Sandwich Color and colour works both ways. Depending on where you are from.
The little boy is scared of the rocker ride! It’s his first time on it 😀
One of my favorite things about LEGO is the “legal” building techniques. It’s just really funny to me that the word “legal” is used, as if it’s a crime to go against them!
I got the Three-in-one set and only ended up building the Toy Store, but the other two models are much better finished than I first thought. I think I’m going to try putting them together. Thanks, Jang!
At least in my country in Europe it's 30 euro's fortunately. I'm getting this. I don't have a lego-uniform torso yet and printed lego-set-plates. I'm glad to see those in a nice "cheap" set.
In Finland this costs now 59€ which is bad in my opinion, it does not seem ok. The under 40€ Cretor sets like Toy and Grocery store and Corner deli had fine value in my opinion. I don't know the value of money in there, but 59€ is a lot in here, but 30€ or a bit over I could take
Don't mind me I am just going to take that 59 euros and buy a full big box of used LEGO and actually build something out of it. The price of new things and what you get for is just pathetic. Even china made modular toys are far more detailed bigger and cost barely anything.
Thorough and fun review, as always. Thanks Jang! 😊
What I really need is Jang's methodology of icing colors that are edible
I love it
the kids expression goes with the coin rocket ride as he gets nervous on his first ride just like for some people getting excited on a roller coaster until it actually starts moving, sometimes even passing out xD
Lovely little set, with some tweaks to add some back walls and some stairs the A build would be a lovely addition to any modular
I love how these Creator Townhouse sets fit in with other Lego Set lines. E.g. I put my Marvel Sanctum Sanctorum set with the Townhouse Pet-Shop
Jang,
The green pastries are pistachio muffins!! I have had them from the WalMart bakery-different and very tasty!!
i love this townhouse my mom and dad buy me this town house like 3 days ago
5:40
Cupcakes, Jang. They're probably cupcakes.
Right, but with green frosting. Why green. Why. I'm not okay with it.
@@JANGBRiCKS That's fair.
@@JANGBRiCKS tbh I really don't know whats wrong with green cupcakes. But the little leaf parts on the end make me agree with you!
mint: am i a joke to you
I love this set! It was one of my non-Lego Dimensions sets that I bought as an adult. I also bought the Pet Store and Cafe set to display next to the Toy Store.
Thanks Wulfy and Jang! It is a great set, a little expensive in Canada at $50, but lovely builds and good parts. Makes you smile:)
Jang, thanks so much for doing the three builds. It's such a great resource for Lego fans who are particularly interested in the Creator sets.
I think $40 is fine for all the architectural details you get on the building and minibuilds on the sidewalk. Basically Jang always wants sets to be $5 less.
I mean, I would love if sets would be 5$ less too. 40 seems like kinda fair deal but 35 would be perfect
Jang doesn't believe in price-to-part-ratio because modern sets have more single stud detail pieces which add to the part count but don't increase the size or playspace of the set.
I remember watching this channel all the time when i was younger
Hi Jang! Great review. Thank you Wolfie for sponsoring! Jang, as a huge fan of the latest Knight Bus set, and a huge fan of Lego windows, i'll add to your other Commenters here: the 3-stud-wide window is a recolor from the Knight Bus. I have been writing to Lego requesting they use it more. Now to write them again asking for more Mid-Legs:)
Just bought this set few days ago with about 30 dollars on sale, pretty cool
It's such a small thing, but I just adore the little trucks built with roller skates for wheels.
Fun fact: if it's actually a LEGO, store then the kid is terrified of a terrible terrible prices
He’s nervous because he forgot to bring his coupons
He's scared because he didn't get enough VIP points
Weirdly, in France, I hardly ever get coloring issues with parts.
In Canada too, where I live
Maybe the products for the US are produced in an other place than the ones for Europe
@@xinlu2806 yep! Some of the American parts are made in Mexico.
I just bought this set today. Part of the reason is for parts. If and when I make a LEGO City I would love to have a Toy Store, or at least locale where I display tiles with LEGO Set prints. The cash print is relatively common, but still a print I want in abundance. I didn't realize the yellow torso had the LEGO logo, but that is very welcome, and I am in desperate need for more foliage pieces.
Apart from that, the builds alone look invite. I could probably count the number of modular buildings I own with 1 hand. And I really like the shaping on the exterior (especially the 2nd floor of the featured build). Overall I'm very pleased. It might end up completely disassembled by the time I finally start my city, but I'm content.
I’m really thinking about buying maybe 2 of these and making a modular. This set is just so perfect and it’s a good enough price to buy multiples and combine them
Thanks Jang, I liked the flower shop best.( brick built birds are nice but falcon , hawk or pigeons moulded would have worked) I agree green treats? Printed cookies or even swirly chocolate dog poo for donut shop. The big one is cool and I agree seeing all three together is great. I can’t get enough LEGO animals, treats or treasure 🤠
I bought the 3 in 1 noodle shop and just ordered the retired version of this set and the 3 in 1 townhouse pet-shop. these 3 in 1 town sets are really good in terms of scale especially if you want to expand any of the Ninjago builds (which is what I am doing.) The first floor on the modular buildings are 10-12 Bricks tall and do not scale well next to the Ninjago city gardens. Plus when you get a modular they are so good that you almost dont want to MOC them. These builds are all around 7 bricks tall and fit in perfectly with The Ninjago city. Furthermore these sets give you ALOT of glass pieces. The Ninjago city buildings also use alot of glass on many sides of the buildings and give it a certain airy aesthetic that the modular buildings do not. These sets also come with alot of detail pieces that Lego city sets do not...and the price per piece is very good even when buying retired sets. I ordered this set for $65 bucks including shipping and I am not complaining.
I don't love the birds, but the rest: Soooo cool ^^
i think, the 3 stud Window is not new , but new in this color - we have this window first in Harry Potters Knightbus 75957
Excellent! Thanks for saying this. I love the new window and have been waiting to see it back since Knight Bus came out:)
I got this set and it is a pretty darn set 😀
Same
nice the toy shop looks great xD
The kids scary face is for the A model side build ride :)
jang you're videos are very calming to watch
I like the look of this set. It will be a great addition to my LEGO city once I get my own copy...
"It just works" Jangbricks is Todd Howard confirmed
Oh no
The 3-stud wide window frame came in the 2019 Knight Bus.
the detail density does it for me.
I live in Israel and cash machines are actually quite prevalent here also I think that the green topping on the sweets is actually a packaging and not an edible dye! Thank you for the quality review!
If only LEGO made these cheaper "modular" sets when I was building my LEGO city as a kid. These are affordable and would look great next to each other, and they don't spend nearly as much as the full size modulars. Kids these days have it great!
Like all this time we never seen your face and now we do lol
The green frosted items could be holiday season items while the purple could be overstocked halloween items
They have become a lot better at making the other builds a lot better
The green things in the frige are obviously Little Green Rosetta from the Utility Muffin Research Kitchen. This would make a lot of sense now that we have seen Jo's Garage set.
(Time to start a Zappa/Lego conspiration theory)
Oh thank goodness I'm not the only one getting those discoloured light grey bricks.
They're updated light stone grey, Jang. It looks like they either slipped in or we're expecting that color to return.
I want this for my Christmas village actually. Maybe get some of those snow pieces to make it more wintery.
I have the Lego Lego store and cannot fathom why it doesn't come with the Lego branded torso (13:30) for the shop keep. I have just ordered this and will be swapping those torsos around :p
The size of this buildings is far better for the minifigs than the modulars, it just looks right ;)
You are a FANTASTIC Lego reviewer!! Would you ever consider creating a video ranking these creator 3 in 1 town sets? I’m curious to know what your favorites are!
I'm usually unimpressed by the secondary and tertiary builds, and this doesn't impress me either. But I'm probably biased since my first 3-in-1 Creator set was 31052 Vacation Getaways. I don't think there's ever been a 3-in-1 set that's been quite as astonishingly good as that one. I mean, the camper was awesome, but the house and the boat were just fantastic!
I been watching you for 5 years
One of my favorite 3 in 1
I loved this little build, sits next to my Lego store, wish the back was closed though
I bought this set and I dont regret it at all
Certainly a nice use of colors
the set looks nice I got it and I thought well it doesn't look worth it until I bought it and now im like yep this is defintley worth it
Do you think you will take another look at the latest 3 in 1 Creator sets as new higher quality photos have released? Would love to see your further thoughts on the Pirate Ship
we all see the price jack up from LEGO for 2021 as the supply demand issue is going to regulate LEGO for the rest of our lives
That toy soldier is probably a nod to the danish storebrand BR Toys as that matches their mascot look and colors.
With the two on the sides you can easily make a ice cream candy shop 😉😂😁👌😎
Jang would like a Green colored icing cake for his birthday; it's his favorite.
That same piece from this set was discolored for me as well! It bugs me, but I haven't gone through my collection to find a replacement.
Just keep on building jang!!
Thanks you wolfy
Love how there’s always money just laying around in Lego stores. Usually $100 bills too!
Hi Jang. I think the kid is nervous about the coin ride:)
Hi
I really enjoy your videos (I´m Portuguese, so sorry for any error...), I had some legos when I was a kid, but time went by and I just redescovered them byuing toys for my nephew, and it wake up the little child in me again...and it's good to know that it is quite normal...and in a much amateur way then some of you guys!!! ;o)
I have too this set, it was my 3th purchase of this 3 in 1, the fist one was the little mountain. I wonder if it is possibel to biuld the little biulding with just 1 box, It is such a wast of peaces when I tried to build the alternative ones in the hut ant the floating boat.
THE thing that i apreciat more in your videos is the entire exploration and reviews of the set and not simply building it, that spoils the fun of surprise.
Keep up the good work/hobbie
Greating from Portugal
Can you please show us how to review sets?
Thank you jang!
Can you do a video where you show all the creator 3 in 1 modular style buildings together? I know they’ve released quite a few and I wonder what they all look like put together
Wow thanks for this review, I am going to be hanging my LEGO Cargo Train on the walls of my room, and I wanted to get the 3 of that set so I could decorate it as the train goes by. I was also wanting to get the LEGO 3-in-1 set Townhouse Pet Shop & Café, can you also review the three configurations in that set? Thanks!
Yep I reviewed that set as well back when it was released!
JANGBRiCKS Oh ok thanks, I’ll make sure to look at it. 🙏🏼
Edit: I watched it, and thanks for telling me about it, this will definitely be one of the sets on my priority list. Thanks again! 🙏🏼
Nice set I definitely think it will work in city layouts
I bought 2 , to build the "A" & "B" builds (I got one 50% off because the box was badly damaged )
I hope to get this set soon. Been planing yo get it all year.
Maybe the kid is scared from the ride keep up the good work
Lovely model. Agree, though, it feels small for its price, even more so here in Germany - 50 Euro is just crazy. Luckily there's enough discounts.
I have bought this last week 40€ in France, I think it is great value :)
Jang this Lego is pretty nice I preffer the Toy Store model
I think the dome in the C model is supposed to represent a succulent terrarium.
13:42 because he's getting scared on the ride
Bought this new from Target today. It had 6 (yes, SIX) pieces missing! :(
I got this set on sale in target, it was 37 dollars :)
Wouldn't it be awesome if the lego set being built in the B version was this exact 3-in-1 set?!?
That Red Jacket would go good witj a buffy custom.
Maybe it is a scary ride in that rocket :-)
Its weird to me that the main build isnt really much better than the alt builds. I will say the selling points are the rocket ride and the lego torso imo.
I had the same problem with gray pieces with the bobo fat bust.
Definitely like it!
40 euro in some countries.
Still much bigger then the 2019 outback cabin which was 35 euro.
I already have the Donut Shop Opening so I think I would not choose the main construction to build and put in my city
I constructed the main biulding but the 1st storie I made a flower shop and distributed the toys on some houses and also on the other toy shop
Donuts and sweets!
did you know that it connects to the townhouse pet shop and cafe
The European price without taxes is ~40 euro, which is about ~43 usd, so the prices are very comparable.
