As of 4.25 the Set Specific Parameters option has been removed. It's now called "Set new or existing parameter directly" So just click the plus on Particle Update and then search for "Set" and you'll see it. Then on the right "Selection" tab/window hit the plus on the Set Parameters option and then search for "Index" and you'll find Sub Image Index there.
Hi, dont know if you still look at the coments for this video but I could really use some help if you do. Im trying to have the particles show a random frame like you have done but not stay on that frame forever. Instead I want them to show a random frame and then cycle to another random frame. I have manages to acheive this using the SubUV animation module and switching it from linear to random, but when i do it cyles through the random frame at a extreamly high speed and i cant find a way to control that speed. Would you know how I could control the speed? or another way to acheive my desired effect without using the Sub UVAnimation module? any advice would be really appreciated
Hi Marissa, I don't have 4.25.0 installed anymore but I did check it out in 4.25.1 and everything seems to work just fine. See this video ruclips.net/video/NiwFF3DjrqM/видео.html . maybe try upgrading to the latest version? Are you using a Sprite renderer? Let me know
@@GordonVart thanks so much Gordon for posting that other video specifically for my question, i really appreciate it and it showed exactly what i needed!! double subscribed since your so awesome!!!!!
HI, just saw this tutorial. When I create the material, place the texture, activate Niagara I get the errors " Implicit Truncation of vector type ..." on 4.24.3 .
Hi, This does work in 2.24.3. I am not exactly sure what your issue is, but please check out my latest video and try to recreate using that. maybe post a RUclips video sharing your screen so we can see what's going on. Good luck. I recreated a short version of the demo. Try this and see if it works for you. ruclips.net/video/NhgHBalzbzM/видео.html.
