Amazing video, as always! Thank you! The Exynos powered S22 Ultra improved a lot on Android 14, a pleasant surprise. I don't know how but mine scores in Geekbench 6 1639 single-score and around 4100 on multi-core, which is amazing. The Vulkan performance was also improved big time. You can pretty much emulate games and have 1.5x more performance than 8gen1, with better efficiency too!

It's only taken Samsung about 2 years of updates to get the exynos s22u to perform 🙄

Snapdragon 8g1 efficiency seems to have really improved?? it's almost matching the s23 ultra battery at the end
Don't forget the 8G1 didn't do the Solar Bay Stress Test (as it doesn't support the Vulkan graphics features) so it was 'on standby' whilst the others were testing for a bit. It's still got a decent battery life though for sure 👍
@@AndroidAddicts yeah but even before the Vulkan test the difference was only 2-3%. Compared to these high stress tests, it seems that it is in daily tasks the battery life difference is much bigger as thats where the efficiency of exynos 2200 and 8g1 lacks compared to 8gen 2 and 8 gen 3.
Very true. I'll be doing the proper battery drain test video soon so we'll see how long it can last until it reaches 0% 👍
Can you do this test for s24 and s24+ with exynos 2400?
Does anyone know what the battery life is compared to december 2023 update on the s23 ultra?
It seems slightly worse to me (at least in my tests). Last month I finished the browser benchmark on 61% battery but this month it was just 56% - have you noticed any downgrade in battery life?
@@AndroidAddicts the update is only available in my country since today and i usually wait a few weeks to see if the update is worth it, as battery life is very important to me. thanks for the continious tests though!

Yeah yeah no problem I got that notification bell also turn on 😜, but while I’m here… I want your opinion, I know a guy who has a s22 ultra(not sure if it’s S8G1 or exynos 2200) and he’s almost gonna upgrade so I want to buy that phone off him (I currently have the A54) I’m from South Africa so idk how much he’s gonna ask in dollars but it’s gonna be cheap😅. Is it a good idea to get the phone? (Nothing is wrong with the phone BTW)
I guess it really depends on how much he'll sell it for - I got mine recently for about £400 - about 9600 ZAR... They're still expensive but decent phones. I imagine it'll be an Exynos 2200 inside it.
