I forgot how masterfully designed the racing is in this game... To be able to perfectly perform around the "track" at those insane speeds just shows the level of attention that was put into it all.
Still the greatest racing game ever made hands down.

Gen z will never understand the real feeling of hiding from the cops with a pack of 10 or more modified all types of cars and getting to a secret street away from everyone and randomly ending up with 30 or more people in the group lining up to race because they saw your pack on the highway and followed it on a Saturday night. Paranoid but more in awe looking at all the modified cars with their hoods up. (Before fast and the furious came out.)
I like that as long as u reaching checkpoints u can choose ur own route which is the main soul of street racing

so dope someone is actually making content on a legendary game like MC3! I still have a copy on PS2. All the stuff you can do thanks to emulation makes me really want go through the hassle of setting that stuff up some day and playing this and a lot of other games at a higher resolution.
Pretty easy setup to get the game itself going with emulation, haven't done multiplayer though

I remember playing this online on ps2 and races on free roam were insane. There was a way to tune your cars to go crazy fast! I think the freeway in Atlanta was where they would race.

What really sucks is how most racing games nowadays don't offer as much of customization as older games, i think NFS heat is the only up-to-date NFS that offers a wide spectrum in terms of customization
