Great video. Totally went thru the light hole also not removing another unneeded part is time saved in these cars. As sometimes things don’t go back as they came out. This install is tough in areas like getting to the light plugs as my car one light had no lock tab so I had to Jimmy a way to get it out. Also the plastic hatch cinch part cracked a little while taking the hatch apart still works.. the headliner was a super Pia to get popped back in. And the wiring was totally backwards. Had to run all cords to passenger side then over to driver. Purchased from tylard which I think is hansshow sister company.. first light came damaged took about 10days to get replacement. Had to for sure remove plate holder to get center camera stack in feels kinda flimsy they should have reinforced with some metal in this area I feel.. I put a layer of tint film on mine and two layers on bottom in the area above camera and it not only looks stealth with smoked out tail lights I have but the extra on the bottom reduces the red line on top to the screen while in reverse. I may eventually just totally black vinyl the bottom area to completely block the light output in to the camera. Backup lines are off slightly but knowing how to drive is a requirement before doing this install so all good😂😂. Thanks again was a great video to watch along and get errrr done!
This looks insane! So glad you made the recommendation not to remove the rear tail light to run the wiring. I’ll be installing once this arrives in a couple weeks. Also assuming the license plate fits back in place.
Thanks for the video! So the 12V hook up (orange/gray wires) with the fuse is not needed. Tlyard said it's for future connections. I confirmed this when installing.
I have the same lightbar, but I have more camera obstruction at the top than you do. Do you have any tips on getting that obstruction reduced? I could tolerate the view you have, not bad at all.
I have the exact same set up as you do. But after I added the reflector light . It made all my other light went nuts. All lights went on when I put on my turn signals. Any idea why ?
Something is not right there for sure. What brand reflector ligjhts are they? Mine are from Hansshow. They work perfectly. That being said, I did take this light off and added some smoked out Alpharex lights which Im doing a video for shortly. They work perfectly with them as well. Hope you get this resolved!
What happens when the parking lights are on and you brake and then let off? On mine the center light bar will brighten and then turn completely off for a second before coming back on. Looks bad at night. Especially a lot of stop and go traffic.
The only issue I have after installing this light bar on my Model Y is that the reverse guide lines in the backup camera seem wider or floating because the camera is in a different height now. Not a big deal but takes some getting used to.
I didn’t really notice that while having this light bar in my vehicle but that logically does make sense. I have AlphaRex taillights now which are amazing. Check them out here…. ruclips.net/video/FwFeQmixWug/видео.htmlsi=O3OS-YBJ5-1HNUrB
I dont believe the Model 3's version needs this added power as what Ive seen on the net, its a different connector. Ill see if I can find a good tutorial dedicated to the 3 and send over shortly.
My license plate was snug, for sure but it fit fine as you can see. It was so snug though, anytime of frame was out. It could only be the license plate.

Very welcome! 🙏 Totally agree with all you did on your install as well. Great feedback!
great video, i'm wondering is going to effect camera at night by adding light right above the camera?
Thanks for the compliment! No, it doesn’t. You totally can tell it’s there, but it’s not a deal breaker at all.

Thanks for the watch! The license plate definitely fits back. It’s a little more snug and a larger license plate cover is a no go after installing.
Mine came damaged. Waiting for replacement

Cool, thanks for adding that info!

Yours might not be placed all the way in correctly? It was a pain to install and snap up there.

Does the light turn (and stay) solid when the brakes are depressed?
Yes, it stays solid and lit
@@JaeTheDevThank you, mine stays in breathing mode nonstop when the brakes are depressed. Not happy.

Hello! I’ve taken this product off my vehicle but that sounds like it may be normal operation for it.
Ok. To turn off the signal feature on the full width strip, how do i do that?
From what I have read, you have to remove the wires that control that feature from the jumper connector.
any issues when you hit the brakes?
Not at all. Works great!

My model 3 doesn’t have a 12v connector. Where would the orange wire go? Mine wouldn’t turn on

I had issues with mine as well as the license plate not fitting under this light.
