@@JaeTheDev Thanks for letting me know. I wasn’t too excited about the Quicksilver as I have a silver 2001 Porsche that I’ve been driving for 14 years. So I’m burnt out on silver but my research on QS showed that it’s a special type of paint that changes hue or tint. You just confirmed it for me. “When Tesla initially launched Quicksilver for the Giga Berlin-made Model Y, the company noted that the shade is made from highly-pigmented metallic paint that is designed to change depending on viewing angle and light. It was also the product of Giga Berlin’s advanced paint system, which allows up to 13 layers for depth, dimension, and a hand-painted look.”

Never had an issue cleaning them. They have held up amazingly well also.

Just drive it for a bit and mine changed to MPH. I was trying to find it also and gave up, and then boom! It automatically did it on its own.

You lost me at “the other quicksilver Tesla”. There’s only one in this video. The first vehicle is a midnight silver metallic with a matte wrap.

Just a change. I’ve had three prior white interior Tesla’s. I do have a Rivian R1T coming in on Wednesday with ocean coast interior which is the bright gray. That’ll be legit.

@@JaeTheDevinterestingly it didn’t need any of the seat cables as it was able perform moving passenger seat via the OBD cable itself!! However, the massage functionality and the heated front seats didn’t work as my car’s passenger seat doesn’t have the lumbar controls.

A vinyl wrap vs real open pore wood. You get what you pay for. There is no way a vinyl wrap can mimic the texture of real open pore wood. YOU think it may look the same, but others dont, but its far from the same.

I’m in Rhoda Island, so 95+ super humid days this time of year. Vehicle is always in cabin cooling mode. I haven’t had that issue once. Time will tell though!

Absolutely, you can get it custom to not have any carbon fiber at all as well as full Napa black leather. You can also use your present trim button areas as well definitely fully customizable that way.

An awesome shop in Johnston Rhode Island did it. Towne Auto Upholstery. Cost was amazing at around $1500. They took the entire liner down, reupholstered in alcantara, and put it back up as seen. I highly recommend them!

Not at all. I’ve had them on since 1 mile, about two months. I’ve took them off to clean the rims yesterday and they look brand new. They are made out of pretty soft plastic. Highly recommend these.
