This is much better than the H&R Retro Line’s Colt LMG with the HMS! But since it is marketed towards retro is there anyway we can stay true to the original Colt LMG on the aesthetics? Like the vertical grip, the barrel mounted bipod and the carry handle
@@陈虎-g4f Thats why its a “Resto-Mod”. Classic look, but modern. Its not remotely close to a clone. If it was a clone, it would cost about 3x what it does now to get all the extras build for it to be a clone. If a clone is what you’re looking for, the H&R will be the closest thing. If you like an Upper with the feels and aesthetic, but is closer to a colt hbar style upper and complete with the HMS, this is it.
@@陈虎-g4f Doubtful. It would require a ton of gunsmithing if it could be done. At this time, we have no idea how far along H&R is on their clone or if they'll ever make it. If they do, it will be the most expensive SKU they'll offer to date for sure. And with how spotty the spare parts are sold for their other clones who know hoe easy it will be to get the parts by themselves.

@@desertpinoy5616 If you wanta get creative and make a way of attaching it you could do that. We looked into some ideas and all were gonna add a lot more cost to the final product. Additionally, Once we got behind the upper and were using it, the desire for the vertical grip went away. Feels like a M16A2 and the Handguard is great on its own. Adding the handle would add a lot more weight and likely throw the balance off.
@@redrighthandllc you’re right, I can just put on an m5 ras rail and call it good. It also begs to differ how good this upper would’ve been with the Quattro lower
@@desertpinoy5616 The handguard cap is made just for the LMG handguards and the ras rail inner diameter wont clear our heatsinks. We could make one with a 12.65 MI quad rail tho.
