Tip: If you have an admin password and cant replace the mouse file then make a folder somewhere else like on the desktop and call it custom cursors so you can just put all your cursors in there and then when you get to the mouse browse window click desktop then double click whatever you named your folder click what ever cursor you made then press open then the window will go away then press apply then press ok then bam you got it without an admin password (sorry its so long)

Hey guys just go to the HDD or SSD where your windows is installed and press the windows folder and you should be able to see the cursors folder and then from that you just select it!

This video really helped. tip: you can put a cvolored pixle of your choice in the middle that way when your hovering your mouse in a large black pixled area, you can still see it just a bit

There is a reason for the windows arrow not being fully black, and its not transparent it actually reflects the opposite color of the background, therefore if the background is black or some dark color the arrow can be visible and recognizable always

Slight problem, my custom cursor seems to be out of sync with where my computer is imaging where the cursor is, for example I went to close eliciting games launcher after I did this and I had my cursor on the X, but it wouldnt close and I had to move my cursor to the bottom left of the X for it to register
Tip: if u use dark mode on ur pc or use programs that have dark/black backgrounds and items, change the color to the lighter shade or make it grey. it still looks cool

u have to make ur hotspot(where the thing of the click registers) on the app in the middle of the cursor hoped this helped
