The best transformation (in my opinion)...

- From the season one episode "Keeper of the Ancient Ruins" here is what I consider to be the best transformation sequence in the entire He-Man series. When I wrote the trivia for the BCI He-Man and the Masters of the Universe DVDs I mentioned that this was the "most realistic version of the transformation sequence" which puzzled a few people. As we all know the transformation sequence is only used for effect, and that quite a few writers have stated that the transformation only takes a few seconds. In other words when Prince Adam transforms into He-Man those watching would not see Castle Grayskull appear, or the storm-like background as He-Man holds the Sword of Power to his chest. This episode I believe shows the viewer what the transformation would look like if you were stood nearby; a few seconds of thunder and lightning with no real glamour! Watch it and judge for yourselves...

"In today's show we saw what happens when you drink and drive. Adam, Cringer, and Teela were fleeing the cops when they crashed in a strange cave. Then they woke up, and they had no idea where they were! So remember, kids: Don't drink and drive!"
They just didn't want to animate a new He-Man transformation sequence with him sitting down so they cut to Cringer just sitting there.
Filmation ruled for that reason!
I like how he conveniently had his sword tucked away in his shirt...
I think the main reason this was done was because Adam was trapped in the Wind Raider and it would have appeared awkward for him to be shown transforming while standing up.
lol. This is pretty funny. I like how Cringer just sits there looking bored as you hear He-man exclaim "I HAVE THE POWER!"
Cringer is hilarious...They don't show the transformation because he would be sitting, I get it, lazy animators, but hey, Cringer has this look of boredom throughout the whole thing...I'd have had him yawn or something lol
Prince Adam., Cringer, Teela, Battle-Cat, He-Man and the Wind-Raider together, absolutely the best transformation! 5stars my friend!
Pretty cool. I wonder what it would look like if the camera hadn't changed to Battle Cat during the transformation.
oh Lol he says that too my speakers were too low I couldn't hear him say "I have the power". XD
How did the Wing Raider get turned around inside that cave? Or, that far into the cave?
I think the BEST transform is the duel transform in 'Secret of the Sword', toward the end.

I LOVE He-man. This series was the best cartoon ever by far. Too bad the US is so lame and puritanical. It would have been so much cooler if the sensors hadnt had their way.

While "Into the Abyss" is one of the best, I don't think it's THE best...and that one is way out of synch! :)

how is this the best? This is not the best. The best is when adam is in the abyss grabbing his sword, man-at-arms and Tela are at the drawbridge and the electricity bolts down into the abyss.
This is not the best transformation. I remember watching this show as a kid and I didn't care how "realistic" this looked. I mean, how can we be worried about how realistic a FANTASY CARTOON can be? Watching the transformation sequence was the best part.

they probably couldn't get away with what it looks like on a kids show so they changed the camera to Cringer lol

If you don't like The Real Ghostbuster then you suck. If you are talking about that Abbot and Costello cartoon remake "Ghostbuster" Then yes it sucked ballz and you don't suck.
