  • Hi Everyone. It is October and we are going to work on some Halloween snow globes between now and Halloween. Today we thought we would start with a spooky black cat that we featured in our last Snow Globe Sunday video. The cats back is arched in that classic cat about to attack stance. He has his paw resting on a Jack-O-Lantern next to a rickety fence.
The water is yellow and some is missing. This snow globe had a few bats in it along the glitter. It now has a lot of bats and some purple star glitter. We used 30 percent glue in this 4 inch globe.
Check out this playlist to see other Halloween snow globes that we have repaired:

Nice video. I agree the glitter bats should be floating a bit longer. Would be awesome if the pumkin could light up but it is nice anyways. See you in the next! 🎃

Hii! Do you know what kind of paint the figures inside the snow globe are painted with? How do they stay in water for a long time and preserve their color?

We don't know what kind of paint is used on the figurines in the factory, however, we use the Testors model paints, which I believe are enamel based. We have snow globes that we used this paint to touch up the figurine in the water that we repaired over a year and a half ago and still looks as good as they did the day we repaired them.
