Jeanette Jenkins yes this! Clean well cared for teeth (they don’t have to be straight) are so key. Finally getting into the dentist for my cleaning after COVID resulted in a cancellation of a March appt. but yes, def teeth!
On that note, in order to help yourself look a little younger, I think it is important to keep your teeth white. Whether your teeth are perfectly straight or crooked or have a gap… Nothing can age you more than yellow, stained teeth. They don’t have to be white enough to blind people… But at least not stained and yellow.
Great tips, Erin! I would add that as we age, random weird hair may crop up on the face...this happened to me after I had a full hysterectomy in 2014. It's a good idea to invest in a 10x magnifying mirror and either wax or tweeze those crazy hairs!
I love makeup/skincare. My favorite spf’s are ceraVe & supergoop . My favorite skincare at the moment is The ordinary. It is not expensive and it works. Also doing a facial massage really helps drain our lymphatic system.
Barb Lamps I have found that no matter what cleanser I am using… Right from very high-end to drugstore brands… If I am wearing foundation, I always have to do a double wash with cleansing oil first, followed up with my cleanser in order to get it all off.
I have very sensitive skin. I found cere ve products this year and love it!! I have been using The Ordinary for about three years. Looking for a different VitC serum to change it up a bit.
Great advice and completely agree! I’m in my 40s so I can totally relate 😂 have you tried The Ordinary line of skin care products ? They are wonderful and so affordable. I use their lactic acid, the buffet, and hyaluronic acid. Also I am now washing my hair every 4-5 days and use sulfate free shampoo, coconut oil for a good conditioning mask and also take collagen tabs and powder ... this has truly revolutionized my hair .... oh and I clean my brushes weekly as I ended up with a stye in my eye using dirty eye brush 😳... lastly , I use a water based concealer by Lancôme- love it ! Thanks Erin... keep em coming ! 👍🏼😊
Erin, i love ur videos and ur “bubbly” personality! Just fyi, hyaluronic acid is not an AHA. It’s not even an acid at all. It is a wonderful ingredient that binds to and retains water, wonderful for hydration and plumping the skin, with benefit completely different from those of AHAs.
That was so informative, especially about the anti aging components. As an aside, I found my white high rise boot leg jeans!! Your video on jeans, zipper length, high rise length and boot leg style was so helpful in finding the right pair. As fortune would have it, I found them in an op shop (thrift) for $7!! They were a size too big so I took them to a tailor to get the waist taken in. I am so happy to finally retire my mid-rise white jeans.
Sooooo true about less is more as you age!!! Always concealer and brows but now (almost 64) I use a little bronzer and blush with the other two and I feel ok to head out the door. I can no longer do eyeliner. Looks really weird, but for special occasions I add light shadow and mascara. No foundation.
Love this video! I’ll just share that as someone with hair a little different from Erin’s- I have thick very coarse dry hair that loves to frizz with the slightest humidity- using one of those anti-frizz oils for shine and smoothing is so helpful. Even the inexpensive drug store brands work great.
Same! I’ll add/share, I swear by silicone lube for my ends before blow drying my scalp. Never greasy, yet more moisturizing than silicone-based products at the salon, while still being much cheaper per oz!
I love this! I’m so glad you discussed how sunscreen in foundation or even the high spf 50 IT CC cream is not enough. ALL the tips were excellent and presented in such a fun way! Good reminders...I’ve been Guilty on more than a few counts 😊
Everything you mentioned is so important, there’s one more thing I do daily is a wrinkle chest treatment. When I wash my face twice daily I also include my chest, then I apply alpha-hydroxy, vitamin C oil, and Bio-Oil. You’ll appreciate you added a chest treatment when you’re in your 60s. Thank you for sharing, I truly enjoy your videos.
You look stunning Erin and all good tips! Another good tip that ages women is eye lining entire eye with black liner. I find chocolate brown more flattering on top lid and just a little swipe of a neutral eyeshadow on bottom.
Great video. Don’t forget your nails! I get routine mania/pedis but have now since COVID-19 appreciate the NATURAL nail look - no more Dip powder except once in a blue moon maybe.
I'm 60 and have had alot of complications from Lupus: SKIN: I'm having issues like dermatitis and now psoriatic arthritis. It's causing ingrown hairs on my legs from shaving as my skin gets harder in areas and won't let the hair grow thru. I dry-brush daily even between showers to help exfoliate. Any suggestions from your viewers would be helpful! HAIR: I've always had thick, but super-straight, fine hair, but it was "shedding" like crazy so I started taking Biotin daily and it really helped! I've been taking Skinny-Fit collagen powder thats supposed to help with cellulite and to lose weight, although I don't want to lose any weight and after 1 month I've noticed a small differance in my skins crepey areas. It says to give it 90 days so will see in 2 months. I love the chocolate cake flavor and put it in my coffee with any flavored creamer and it tastes like my fave white chocolate mochas from Starbucks! It's been great using it during the pandemic so I don't have to go out.
Hi Erin, I think one that is often overlooked and not mentioned is good dental health care. Maybe because we presume it is a given. But a pretty healthy smile is youthful. Floss, brush, use whitening toothpaste at least twice a day.
Fantastic content, per usual. You are so beautiful, authentic, humble and relatable. I have shared you with so many friends and family - from a 30 year old colleague to my 75 year old aunt. Thank you for all the time and effort you put into your videos. I love them all. ❤️
I have very fine, very dry skin and am in my late 60s. I’ve used Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream for the Body for Dry, Sensitive Skin (I buy bulk packs at Costco) on my face for decades. It’s the consistency of Crisco, so yeah - serious moisturizer. I have very few lines and wrinkles. I use other products now too, but Cetaphil is what set me up for good skin.
I only started my anti aging routine at 47.5 years old...6 mths ago. Really horrendous acne rosecia from living in Ireland meant pizza skin and I couldn't use anything near it...not even soap. Well moving to Spain got rid of the acne after 9 years...yeahhhhh! After leaving it 5 years to be sure my skin was it's old self I started with some beauty routine at Xmas with yves rocher as its natural and gentle. Finally I can start to care for my face and décolleté. Thanks for brilliant video xxx
Wonderful video and good seeing you today! I love a good moisturizer day and night. Don't forget to wear sunscreen in the house. The UV rays come in through the windows and can damage our collagen. xo
Nice video. I have been one of those women that washes her face twice a day everyday. It does payoff, mid 50s and my skin still looks it’s best. Don’t forget to whiten your teeth as part of your routine. Yellowing, stained teeth can be aging as well.
Thank you, Irene! I totally agree about whitening teeth. I've been doing it for years with products from my dentist. I didn't include that in this video because I have talked about it in a few others. xo
I always test foundation on my neck just under the corner of my jawbone, the back of my hands get sun all year round so they are always darker and the inside of the wrist can throw off the colour match due to the the tone of my veins.
I use some Pixi and some Olay skincare products and my 60 year old skin looks great. Good skincare doesn't have to be expensive! And I refuse to refer to it as 'anti-aging' because I feel that makes the natural process of aging sound like a bad thing. Great advice on eyebrows!
I love that colour dress on you and your hair looks fabulous, you look beautiful. 💐 Thank you for sharing all your tips. I really enjoy learning from you.
Great tips! Also, another common mistake I see is not matching your face to your decollete/chest. Not that is has to match exactly, but your face shouldn't be three shades lighter so that it looks like your head doesn't belong with your body. Sometimes I'll use a little blush or bronzer all over my face and neck to help tie them together to look more seamless.
Hi Erin, just a couple of tips - 1. Always test foundation colour on your face, never the back of your hand. It's the only way you'll get a proper match. 2. When you wash your make up brushes, point them downwards under the tap. This saves water damage on the glue holding the bristles and your brushes will last longer. For skincare recommendations / info I suggest you check out Caroline Hirons (UK), she knows her stuff! Xx
Hello Erin, I just wanted to say exercise is a real good thing for your skin! I’m 59, I try to walk 5 days a week, I have been doing it for years now & I love it! In 2009 I went on a weight loss journey, took me 18 months to loose 128lbs,& I took 4 months to learn how to eat properly.I noticed that it changed my face soooo much,10+years younger looking!,had a very wide wrinkle between my eyes & now gone.I started using sunscreen @ this time also & what a blessing it was, when I apply it I use about a teaspoon on my face & neck,& hands,I rube in my hands & pat it gently all over, works wonderfully for me. PS,for those who want to know,I lost my weight on the Canada food guide, they changed it last year so google 2018 Canada food guide ,it’s easy to follow portion sizes ect.I tried em all & this is the one that worked for me,& kept it off. Thank you Erin! It’s wonderful to watch you on u tube, you are so knowledgeable and fun, I’m sure you inspire lots of people. Cuddles from Canada 🌼🌺🌸🇬🇧🇨🇦M
Nice, thank you Erin, 👍🏻🤗 very interesting, 🌻 a little bit funny too 😃. I swear by aloe Vera gel for my face from time to time, especially when I am in a hurry. It absorbs into the skin very fast without residue, moisturizes and calmes the skin and makes it look very fresh. It is not oily and on a no makeup day I feel quite comfortable with it. I get mine from Amazon. It is not expensive and a little goes a long way. I do not know if the one available here in Germany is available anywhere so I do not write the name of it here. just look on Amazon, if interested it just has to be what we call bio (organic?). Wish a nice relaxed Sunday to everybody 💐.
I also like to use aloe vera gel on my face sometimes in the evening. I add a drop or two of emu or other facial oil and it just soaks right in instantly. I have also been told that straight aloe vera gel makes a beautiful primer for eyeshadow… Which is also something that I have noticed that I have had to start using in order to keep my eyeshadow colours true and prevent the shadow from settling into creases. I keep forgetting to try this as a primer… But I am going to.
Hi Erin, I love your videos. I switched to completely clean beauty about 5 years ago, I don’t use retinol because it gets a really bad score on the EWG website which I use often for checking ingredient safety. Instead of using retinol I use a ingredient called Bakuchiol, it works like a retinol but without any of the nasty side effects.
Busbee Style Erin, perhaps you could research this natural retinol sub and do a video. I’m super picky about what I use on my skin so appreciate that you’re one of the few you tubers to even address this! Thanks to Brandy for this info👍
Two favorite sunscreen products are from La Roche-Posay: Anthelios AOX Daily Antioxidant Face Serum with Sunscreen - SPF 50. I wear this under my foundation every day (that I am wearing foundation!). On days I just want a tinted moisturizer, but want SPF, I wear Anthelios 50 Mineral Ultra Light Face Sunscreen - SPF 50 Tinted. They are a little on the pricey side ($30-$40) but worth it!
I've been using Castor Oil on my hair for over a month and OMG!!! Its so soft and shiny and looks so healthy!! I put on every other night and rub into scalp and then brush it through. Its a pain to wash out the next morning because I have to wash twice really well, but SO worth it. I started using it to help me grow out a short pixie and its working!! :) Also, I've been on Collagen Powder for 3 weeks and I know that's helping as well with my hair and the added benefit of my skin looking amazing!
Just remember women like me, who went through cancer and our eyebrows are no longer there. A stray hair here and there. I need so much help how to apply an eyebrow pencil or shadow. Love your videos. Any advice?
I always love your videos Erin! So informative and fun. I took your advice on collagen powder from the hair video and I'm taking a few great tips from this one. Thank you so much! I'm 46, from Argentina!
Can you do a video about skin tone and colors that look good for that skin tone? For instance, I've got a pale neutral skin tone, and I'm soft colored, meaning my hair, eye and skin color are close in color (light brown skin, pale skin, pale eyes) thank you! I love your videos!!
I am 60 and did the BBL and the HALO fractional laser. Absolutely fantastic. Took 10 or 15 years off my skin, seriously! Expensive but sooo worth it. I am a red head that use to go to tanning booths and lived on the beach! I am gonna try some of the products you recommended too. Love your channel!
I have been using Fermodyl by Roux for over 40 years. I am a two toned blonde and my hair is as shiny as my 12 year old grand daughter. I love this product, I also eat very healthy, all organic, made from scratch, a lot of water, and protect your hair from the sun as you would your skin.
Your dress is lovely and hair looks great! How about a hair styling video? With the virus I have completely gotten out of the habit of doing anything but air drying!
Love your tips feeling overwhelmed with how many different products to use for your facial routine. First clean then toner then vit c then sunscreen the corrector then concealer then foundation...... how much do you really need. It gets soooo complicated you don't always bother feels like a ball and chain. Please help thank u
Thank you so much for the skin care tips! I’m 40 years old and have been running outdoors for over 10 years. Lots of sun damage due to that and other things. I’m seeing an esthetician for advice and will ask about your recommendations.
Yep...getting on the “clean beauty” train a few years back...got me spending way more on makeup and skin care. It’s crazy how many products have so much crap in them. I love Josie Maren products as well.
HOLY SMOKES! I just stopped using tretinoin for the same reason! I have yet to talk to anyone with this reaction! I got it via an online consultant prescription process, and I finally said enough, after 11 months! Something about it produced these horrible bumps! I thought it was just me, I feel so much better knowing I’m not crazy. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! And, I loved your “Don’t” outtakes! Once again, I agree with everything, including some additional comments from your followers! 👏🏼👏🏼🥰
I have started all of these about 2 years ago. Gradually introduce them because I have sensitive skin. My esthetician has noticed a difference & said continue my routine. It’s working! I’ll take that for being close to 50!☺️ Also, I’m a certified MUA and clean my brushes every weekend( my personal brushes) but if you can, take a spray bottle with 1 part rubbing alcohol & 1 part water, spray a towel, wipe brushes on that. That way there is no bacteria getting in your brushes.
Busbee Style trust me, I understand. I am not a fan of cleaning my brushes so it’s something I make myself do. Even when I was doing makeup on other people, in between at a wedding or something it helps make sure your have a clean brush.
Wow, that treatment for the sun damage was amazing. I've never seen anything that great. Have you done a video where you did the order of your skincare routine. Like you did serum, but the moisturizer (?), then sunscreen, then the cc cream. That's the issue I really don't know if I'm doing things in the proper order. Especially the sunscreen because I might be putting too much on top of it. I live in FL so it's super important. I don't want to have skin cancer. You're such an actress so I appreciate your videos rather than it being boring tutorial. Will share your channel with a few of my friends.
It really is amazing, Jane! I did do a morning routine video, but I believe I didn't include sunscreen in that one because I was not going to be outside at all. Sunscreen should be the last step of your skin care (after moisturizer, but before makeup primer...if you are using one). I'll link that video here for you: ruclips.net/video/a_CTzSOFj4I/видео.html
Erin, thank you so much for making me aware of Brene Brown. She is so inspiring. Just what I needed now. Love your videos and fashion advice. I can tell you have such an amazing soul with a great sense of humor. God Bless.
Hi! I just discovered your videos yesterday and love them! If you haven't already, would you create a skin care video sharing what you use? Your skin looks amazing!
This was such a well done and thorough video. I am 41 and I can say on the nights when I skip washing my face (because I am seriously just too tired before bed), I can ALWAYS tell in the morning. I will lack any glow at all. I also live in a dry climate and I love cleansing oil as well. I just use Grape seed oil (get mine from Safeway) and it is made for both food and body. It's made a night and day difference in my skin and so much cheaper than cleansing oils they sell in stores. Great for all skin types and does not clog pores at all. I must look into your hair tips because my hair really sucks... Perimenopause has made it's way into my life I think. LOL!
Hi Erin. My beauty mistake n1 is not wearing sunscreen till I was in my late 30s. AND suntanning. What can I say... Gorgeous dress. Thank you for the tips!
Hi , another wonderful video Just a little tip for hydroquinone , always use it in form of a pump , open jar of hydrquinone gets oxidized real quickly and doesn’t work , so don’t waste your money on a tube or a jar of hydrquinone ! Always buy it in a pump form
I was blonde for years (highlights) and recently went back to dark and it’s actually made me look younger. I was surprised at this but now my hair is in better condition too.
I have recently started watching your videos and I find your recommendation s fantastic. I am a woman in my 50's and your tips are universal. Keep up the good work and I can't wait for your next video.
I love how fun and informative your videos are! Like a few other commenters, I'm using collagen powder now for my hair (we'll see how it goes!) and I'm now going to try your color-correcting trick. Btw, the shot of you with crazy hair made me laugh out loud! Keep up the great vids!
Silk pillowcase they say makes for less wrinkles. Also, I have coarse, dry, thick naturally curly hair. I don’t really hardly use shampoo anymore. I just use conditioner. Washing too much with harsh soap can make hair like mine very straw like and super dried out. Frizz/shine serum is also very helpful.
Thank you for another great video! I suffered with horrible skin for over 35 years. I tried everything; even IPL treatments. I thought it was my DNA. I started using the Youth skin care by Shaklee. I love it. It is also beyond clean! For the first time I can go without feeling like I have to cover up! Finally, at 40, I have youthful looking skin. I’ve never felt this happy and comfortable in my own skin.
I wasted a lot of money on cleansing oils until I ran out of my favorite once and tried coconut oil. Cheap and actually works better. Neutrogena hydro boost cleans off any leftovers and is available fragrance free now. Curious about other people's take on micellar water. My dermatologist and RUclips Dr Dray are very much against using micellar water but I've forgotten why.
So so true Erin every single mistake thank goodness I’m guilty of only 2 to much blush and not washing my face every night gotta be stricter with this thank you so much dear friend by the way your looking gorgeous as usual love the dress and earrings and your home is stunning lv jan😘❤️💐🍀💋🇺🇸🏠💄👗👠👜
While I hesitate to ever recommend products that I have not personally tried, I have heard that there are some amazing products in both of those product lines. Thank you for sharing, Lynn! xo
Great video, thank you! I see a lot of women that do not groom! No pumice stone, no moisturizer, awful nails. I'm a complete nut about exfoliating my feet and moisturizing! During the pandemic I started using nails from the drugstore and they have been on so long now!
Yes! I suddenly got horrible cystic acne Immediately after I started the Tretinoin A prescribed by my dermatologist. It took a whole year to clear it up when I used it only a few days! I learned through that acne spell something that cleared it up within a week was washing my face within 20 minutes after waking up. Game changer I wish I knew the earlier half of my life!
I wear more makeup than ever, but when I was younger I didn’t have rosacea. I now need to conceal, wear foundation and since my eyebrows are totally blonde, I have to use an eyebrow pencil too. Technique is key with makeup. Great video!
I think that is the case for a lot of us Pam, but as you said, great technique can make it look like a more natural look even if you need a lot of product. One suggestion...I have a cream (you could use it as a primer) that I love to help with redness before makeup is this one: rstyle.me/+XHYmRqdEf_epH_i8kXXu2A . It has been a game changer for me since it color corrects my redness. xo
Yes, Miss Erin .... I started an " anti aging thing " in my late twenties.... It paid off.... I also used sunscreen all the time, despite being made fun of, lol. AHA and BHA wasn't too prevelant back then, but I've used those ever since it came to light. I use so many Obagi products, love them. .... It's not always possible to GET " clean " skin care . I use Retinol an I know about the one you spoke of. ... I always mix Retinol with this product , Skin Food, the one in the green tube. You need very little of each , then apply. I wash my face every morning, every night....I use the cleansing oil as well....and I use this Perricone product for at night . I use sunscreen even if I'm not going outside.... Always have . Great tips Miss Erin.... ESPECIALLY about the natural light thing.... people wonder why I like having a place where I can apply my makeup in natural light... well it makes all the difference! Cheers, and Blessings!
Gorgeous dress! Green looks good on you! I get the impression that all colors look good on you. How unfair is that! Most people are flattered by cold OR warm colors, but everything looks good on you!
love your channel and watch every video. I developed a bad eye infection in my 20's that was the most unpleasant experience. I swore I would never have another one. I am religious about washing my makeup brushes and changing out eye makeup before it expires. Sight is precious take good care of your eyes.
You look gorgeous. I love your videos because they are helpful and you give a lot of option on several price points. Really love your way to apoach the tips and advices... Blessings to you and your family.
Wearing a face mask out in public, I haven't worn make up in weeks, but still do morning and night skin care, spf during the day - someday we'll get back to normal
Erin I love your videos, I wouldn’t however recommend swatching makeup on your hand or your arm as you can still end up with the wrong shade, either along the jawline, or chest (where the neck meets your chest). I’m interested to know whether the colour corrector creases when you put it on your eyelids. My understanding is that concealers and skincare products have moisturisers etc built in. The skin on the eyelids are oily and therefore they crease, eyeshadow primers are usually a waxy texture and with stop oils coming through so shouldn’t crease. Are you powdering the colour corrector down? (Ps I have this colour corrector but I’ve never used it in this way so I’m genuinely interested)
Angela Backer try The Ordinary’s line of skincare. Very effective and very affordable. They sell it at Sephora and some Ulta in addition to their website.
Great presentation, Erin!! A couple of questions: 1.) Curology told me not to use any acids or Vitamin C when I started my Tretinoin a month ago. It's only .035%. Would you think I'm safe to try some AHA? I really believe in it. 2.) Been using collagen powder for a month and a half (in a smoothie, average 6 days a week). How long did it take for you to notice a difference in your hair?
I'd split them up and use your vitamin C in the morning and AHAs at night. I think it took a few months to really see a difference in the thickness of my hair. I hope this helps, Abigail. xo
Another way to avoid the 90s look with the lip liner is to fill in your lips with the liner. You get the enhanced look of your lips, and also you get the lipstick to last longer. And talking about that I have 2 more mistakes: 1. Neglecting your neck and decollete in your skincare. 2. Neglecting your lips; we should exfoliate and condition our lips too.
Years ago in high school I took a cosmetology class. I will never forget how adamant my teacher was that we never use retinol. She said that it is really damaging to your skin over time. I never knew why and never used it. But hearing your story about makes me think maybe she was right. Good video!
Long dark fingernails. Bad posture. Frowning. Pale frosted lipstick. Yellow teeth. Faded hair color. Helmet head. Too light, too thick, too dry under eye concealers - my #1 quickest way to look horrible!! You’ve heard of FAB Bendy Avocado concealer, recommend for DRY under eyes and mature skin - guess what? It’s DRY on me - how am I so lucky? And I’ve tried many different eye creams, oils, etc. I’m so over it I’m ready to give up. Wow that IPL helped - I need it. I figured it’s expensive but worth it because brown spots age me. Guess what I’m doing right now? Cleaning my liquid product brushes - I did it every night and felt like that’s all I did - get ready, come home, clean brushes,.....I LOVE the Urban Decay pink corrector - one dot even over concealer helps - good point about not needing it - it’s the blue I want gone. You saved me probably $100’s from trying every new one that comes out (exaggerating). 15:41 - Drew Barrymore 😄 A good heat protectant when you flat iron - my hair is thin and fine and I love CHI 44 Iron Guard - doesn’t feel heavy and is amazing.
Great post! I was introduced to chemical exfoliation through subscription boxes and almost immediately saw a difference-my skin was shiny after washing (learned what dull skin actually meant in my late 40s. Better late than never! My favorite at the moment are the detox pads from NassifMD Dermaceuticals. I'd tried the Peter Thomas Roth ones first but you had to rinse it off after a minute or two. The Nassif pads are just wipe and go. I absolutely love Moroccan Oil shampoo and mask-they smell great too. I'm taking a break from them and using a clarifying shampoo every 5th wash and Olaplex for a few months.
Love the timeless vitamin c serum (they reformulated it not in eye dropper) so it stay fresher longer my FAVORITE face sunscreen is Australian gold mineral lotion botanical sunscreen it’s the best I tried pricey always doesn’t mean better they are both sold on amazon Australian Gold Botanical Sunscreen Tinted Face Mineral Lotion SPF 50, 3 Ounce | Broad Spectrum | Water Resistant and timeless also on Amazon and if have not tried the ordinary you are missing out so affordable with awesome ingredients my favorites are lactic acid 10%t ha and the ordinary res Vera too 3% ferulic acid 3% also use timeless q10 it’s amazing
How about routine dental care, flossing daily, etc.? Bad teeth definitely detract from your beauty and health.
Jeanette Jenkins yes this! Clean well cared for teeth (they don’t have to be straight) are so key. Finally getting into the dentist for my cleaning after COVID resulted in a cancellation of a March appt. but yes, def teeth!
Absolutely, Jeanette! So important! xo
She is talking about beauty, not about basic hygiene.
So true!!
You look stunning. You have a definite glow and the dress looks great on you. Good tips. Ty
Thank you so much, Mikelle! xo
Ya. She’s Gorg, for sure. Such a cute personality too!
Great tips, Erin! I would add that as we age, random weird hair may crop up on the face...this happened to me after I had a full hysterectomy in 2014. It's a good idea to invest in a 10x magnifying mirror and either wax or tweeze those crazy hairs!
Yes, unfortunately I agree with you! xo
@@BusbeeStyle I recently started shaving my face. Luckily just peach fuzz but it makes a difference. Skin is now so smooth and soft
I love makeup/skincare. My favorite spf’s are ceraVe & supergoop . My favorite skincare at the moment is The ordinary. It is not expensive and it works. Also doing a facial massage really helps drain our lymphatic system.
Thanks for sharing, Ann! xo
"The Ordinary" line is amazing ! Not sure why they chose to call themselves ordinary when their products are quite extraordinary! 😂
I love CeraVe also, and the price is right! Plus it's got ceramides, hyralonic acid, and niacinimide...all good stuff for your skin!
I think you nailed these. Another one is choosing a hair color that doesn’t compliment your skin tone. You look great!
Thank you, Clarissa! xo
Thank you, Heather! That's great! I'm so glad my video was helpful in showing you things to look for in a quality pair of jeans. xo
Thank you, Tamara! I think we are guilty of some of these. xo
OMG Love your section on taking care of your hair. Thank you so much for the good chuckle. You are wonderful 💞
You are so welcome, Rheta! xo
Guilty as well with the brushes! Thank you for being so honest!
Always! Thank you, Meredith! xo
Yes...bringing your skin care down onto your neck and chest is so important. I do this every night! Great tip, Sylvia! xo
All good advice, I love hearing you advocate so strongly for clean beauty! So important for our looks and our health.
I'm trying...thank you, Kelly! xo
@@BusbeeStyle I loveseeing the green movement grow. I'm very excited, I'm finally launching my clean beauty and wellness podcast!
You look stunning Erin and all good tips! Another good tip that ages women is eye lining entire eye with black liner. I find chocolate brown more flattering on top lid and just a little swipe of a neutral eyeshadow on bottom.
Thank you so much, Lisa! I agree...brown liner can look less harsh. xo
Great video. Don’t forget your nails! I get routine mania/pedis but have now since COVID-19 appreciate the NATURAL nail look - no more Dip powder except once in a blue moon maybe.
I think it's nice to keep them natural, either no polish, clear, or natural colors for the most part. xo
Your beauty communicates that you are doing EVERYTHING right! Just, wow!
Thank you SO much! xo
Yes, I agree, Mary! So important! xo
Fantastic content, per usual. You are so beautiful, authentic, humble and relatable. I have shared you with so many friends and family - from a 30 year old colleague to my 75 year old aunt. Thank you for all the time and effort you put into your videos. I love them all. ❤️
Thank you so much, Jennifer! I appreciate that! xo
Hahahaha- yes to all of it 😉. This was so much fun!
BTW your hair looks gorgeous!
Have a beautiful week Erin!
Tammy Roy🇨🇦
Thanks so much, Tammy! You are always so sweet in my comment section! xo
Wonderful video and good seeing you today! I love a good moisturizer day and night. Don't forget to wear sunscreen in the house. The UV rays come in through the windows and can damage our collagen. xo
Thank you for saying this, my comment was going to be the same.
I was using retinol and my skin has broken out with pigmentation so I’m so scared of it now too. Good point.
I didn't include that in this video because I have talked about it in a few others. xo
I love today’s outfit! Green is such a happy colour ☺️
Thank you, Nicole! xo
Love how entertaining you make these informative videos! So fun to watch!
I'm so glad, Stacy!
I have heard great things about the Pixi glow tonic. I agree...you don't have to spend a lot to get great skin care. xo
I love that colour dress on you and your hair looks fabulous, you look beautiful. 💐 Thank you for sharing all your tips. I really enjoy learning from you.
Thank you so much, Sharleen! xo
Yes, that's so important! xo
Xx
Great tips, thank you, Claire! xo
That's amazing, Michelle! Thank you for sharing! Sounds like you are doing awesome! Glad I can help a bit with your journey! xo
Thank you for the suggestion, Christiane! Enjoy your Sunday! xo
Thank you for sharing, Brandy! xo
Thank you for sharing, Teri! xo
That's great, Rhonda! Thank you for sharing! xo
Just remember women like me, who went through cancer and our eyebrows are no longer there. A stray hair here and there. I need so much help how to apply an eyebrow pencil or shadow.
Love your videos. Any advice?
This video is so helpful! You explain things so well and I enjoyed all of your tips!😊
I'm so glad, Shannon! Thank you! xo
Would love to know more about BBL. The before and after is remarkable!
I'd consult a local esthetician. Hopefully they will be able to see if you are a good candidate. I loved my results. xo
I always love your videos Erin! So informative and fun. I took your advice on collagen powder from the hair video and I'm taking a few great tips from this one. Thank you so much! I'm 46, from Argentina!
I'm so glad, Chicha! xo
Thank you, Debbie! I agree...BBL was a game changer. xo
Love this dress on you, what a great cheerful color! The earrings are super cute, too.
Thank you so much, Pahla! xo

Beauty Counter makeup and skin products are “Clean”. Thanks for the Beauty Tips!💖
Love your tips feeling overwhelmed with how many different products to use for your facial routine. First clean then toner then vit c then sunscreen the corrector then concealer then foundation...... how much do you really need. It gets soooo complicated you don't always bother feels like a ball and chain. Please help thank u
Thank you Erin!! By the way I love your outfit! Looks beautiful on you!
Thank you so much! xo
Thanks for the top 10! The eyebrow advice was really helpful.
Thank you so much for the skin care tips! I’m 40 years old and have been running outdoors for over 10 years. Lots of sun damage due to that and other things. I’m seeing an esthetician for advice and will ask about your recommendations.
You are so welcome, Rina! Hopefully they will be able to recommend a tailored treatment to you. xo
Yep...getting on the “clean beauty” train a few years back...got me spending way more on makeup and skin care. It’s crazy how many products have so much crap in them. I love Josie Maren products as well.
I'm SO glad! I love her products too! xo
Thank you, Gretchen. It may be beneficial to go and have a consultation with a local dermatologist. xo
Your whole look in this vid is awesome! Keep this content coming and the funny “nots” are the icing on the cake!
Thank you so much, Susan! xo
That's a great suggestion...thank you! xo
Thank you...I share a bit about my morning skin care routine in this video: studio.ruclips.net/user/videoa_CTzSOFj4I/edit
LOL!
Thank you so much! I appreciate your suggestions. Here is a link to my thicker hair video: ruclips.net/video/Ul0lIoWzqJY/видео.html
@@BusbeeStyle Thank you Erin, for taking time to give me the direct link. Have a great Sunday!
Hi Erin. You look always wonderful. Thanks for your advice and it's helpful for me.
You’re SO welcome! xo
Hi Erin. My beauty mistake n1 is not wearing sunscreen till I was in my late 30s. AND suntanning. What can I say... Gorgeous dress. Thank you for the tips!
So many of us are guilty of suntanning when we were younger. xo
Hi , another wonderful video
Just a little tip for hydroquinone , always use it in form of a pump , open jar of hydrquinone gets oxidized real quickly and doesn’t work , so don’t waste your money on a tube or a jar of hydrquinone ! Always buy it in a pump form
It does oxidize quickly...that's a great tip! xo
I was blonde for years (highlights) and recently went back to dark and it’s actually made me look younger. I was surprised at this but now my hair is in better condition too.
Tallis In Wonderland I found the same to be true.
I have recently started watching your videos and I find your recommendation s fantastic. I am a woman in my 50's and your tips are universal. Keep up the good work and I can't wait for your next video.
Thanks for the reminders and tips!! Enjoy your content!!
You are so welcome, Elizabeth! xo
Thanks for all the tips! Very helpful.
Glad it was helpful, Marjie! xo
I love how fun and informative your videos are! Like a few other commenters, I'm using collagen powder now for my hair (we'll see how it goes!) and I'm now going to try your color-correcting trick. Btw, the shot of you with crazy hair made me laugh out loud! Keep up the great vids!
Thank you, Elizabeth! Let me know how it goes! xo
That's wonderful! Thank you for sharing! xo
It is best to go through a retinazation process when you start using retinol. Takes a few months.
Thank you for sharing, Susan! xo

The Ordinary has an amazing line for anti aging and incredibly priced. The Inkey Line is amazing too.

I meant to say groom their feet. 👣
Thank you, Diane! xo
Oh wow! It can be SO tough until you find what works best for you. Thanks for your comment, Stephanie! xo
Thank you so much for sharing! xo

It can be great for people with sparse lashes. Thank you for sharing, Julie! xo
WOW , so much valuable advice, thanks Erin ! X

Gorgeous dress!
Green looks good on you! I get the impression that all colors look good on you. How unfair is that! Most people are flattered by cold OR warm colors, but everything looks good on you!
Thank you, Catherine...I think anyone can wear any color. Sometimes you just have to find the right tone for you. xo
Very good! Natural masks on face is also awesome 👌
love your channel and watch every video. I developed a bad eye infection in my 20's that was the most unpleasant experience. I swore I would never have another one. I am religious about washing my makeup brushes and changing out eye makeup before it expires. Sight is precious take good care of your eyes.
Thank you, Nancy! xo
You look gorgeous. I love your videos because they are helpful and you give a lot of option on several price points. Really love your way to apoach the tips and advices... Blessings to you and your family.
Thank you so much, Monica! You are so sweet! xo
Your skin is so beautiful, do you have any reasonably priced alternatives?
Angela Backer try The Ordinary’s line of skincare. Very effective and very affordable. They sell it at Sephora and some Ulta in addition to their website.
"Soup to nuts" 😄😂 Haven't heard that in years!
Thankyou loved this. A great help
Great video! Can you go into more detail of your bbl experience?
I think that is a great idea. Stay tuned to my instagram @busbeestyle
Great tips, Monica! xo
Years ago in high school I took a cosmetology class. I will never forget how adamant my teacher was that we never use retinol. She said that it is really damaging to your skin over time. I never knew why and never used it. But hearing your story about makes me think maybe she was right. Good video!
Thank you! I have struggled with retinol, but most of the research shows that it is a highly effective product. My skin was just too sensitive. xo
Thank you Heidi...Chemical exfoliation can really make a big difference! xo
How did I never know about color corrector vs concealer?! Thank you!
Great video!
Glad this was helpful, Casey! xo
