The E55 was an actual monster of its time and never got thw recognition. Im an ex Mercedes technician and the first AMG I drove was an E55 and I was blown away with its straight line performance on kickdown from 60+mph the speedo needle never looked like stopping. When i drove a W211 E63 for the first time i was so disappointed from 0-70mph it felt rapid and the noise was incredible but after 70mph it felt slow compared to the old E55 the torque that thing had was insane. One of the best cars Mercedes AMG ever made
@@3samuel33 the best advice is to get rid of it completly. if you really wanna keep the car you should get rid of such a huge problem zone. mine died 2 years ago. it cost me 3,3k.
The 6.2 is a fragile guzzler that needs head work post 120,000. Change the oil every 10,000 and service the box every 60,000 you'll run to 200,000 with just one or two charge cooling pumps, a couple of guibos, two rocker cover gaskets/coils and a SBC rebuild.
stage 2 tune. Car tuning is divided into stages to make it easier to understand how much work has been done to the car without reading entire paragraphs.

As a modded E55 owner, I approve this message!

What are your comments about C63 2007 onwards generation
considering how much more reliable and modifiable the E55 is this is definitely a win for it lol E55 all the way

That was the craziest civil race I’ve ever seen in my life 😂
This is one of those rare hidden gem videos, just a couple of Asians drag racing two German super saloons
55 is beter. Its no problem for engine (M113K) and gearbox to get 650HP and 1000Nm.
Too bad the gearbox doesn't have 6 gears.
For me,63 is better, brcause of high rev (revs 600 RPM more.500+ RPM is big difference.)
@@denizuysal9188 ye but compressor > atmo
@@yaderi- i agree, but high rev is better for me.
@@denizuysal9188I hope replacing camshafts is better for you too.
@@denizuysal9188nah, 5.5 > 6.3.
Damn that was close
demasiado torque el e55, esa version de e63 no tiene forma de ganarle, tendrian que recurrir al actual e63amg s, y quien sabe en el arranque...
Stock casi igual e incluso gana el E63 por un poco.
What year is that e63 amg
2008 to 2009
What does stage 2 mean?

этои на 55ом закрыть люк можно выиграть пара десятков сантиметров
Displacement wins :)
Wow that was so close!
E55 hast more nm then e63
