Having been buying CDs since the late 1980's (and still doing it), I advise you to search Thrift Stores and Charity Shops because you just never know what you're going to find.

Although I prefer the inconvenience, expense, storage issues and other frustrations which come from collecting vinyl:) CD's are a great option.
