@@melonie_peppers not for a long time. But you know when you're about to have one and can sometimes hold it off. It's difficult though. Imagine you have the worst food poisoning imaginable and you're stopping yourself from throwing up, just with sheer willpower.
Everyone's seizures effect them differently though, since it is a neurological disorder, but most of the time me and anyone else I've spoken to with seizures is able to feel it coming on and hold it back for as long as we can. The look in that woman's eyes is very similar to one of my friends and the way people have described how I look before I seize.
I can't even understand how she did that. I have this too
I would like to ask- do seizures hurt?
Edit: Thank you so much for the replies!
@@mycatonmybed1148 hi! So seizures are a neurological disorder, which means they present themselves differently in different people. Just depends on the way your brain is wired! For me, it's not necessarily that it hurts, but a sense of panic and loss of control over my movements and body. Once the seizure takes over, I black out and become unconscious. But again, it depends on the person how a seizure might effect them. My dad actually starts hearing loud music in his head before it happens!
For some reason I was suggested this video from 6 years ago lol, but this is wholesome. She also tried to keep her from falling. What an angel. A lot of people don't know how to recognize a seizure. I'm sor relieved the baby and the lady are fine.

Fhe fact that mom was still able to position the baby closer to the cashier annnnddddd hold on until she took the baby speaks volumes 🧡🧡
Mother intuition
Yeeesss! How she fell after the baby was out of her arms, like she was fighting it
People that have seizures can feel an attack coming, usually they can keep the seizure "under control" until they are in a "safe" position. I experienced this first hand with my dentist while he was cleaning a cavity in my mouth, he stopped suddenly, he got away from me and let the drill fall down, he turned around using his chair and tryed to hold himself up bracing his desk, I had to jump out of the dentist chair and grab his shoulder to help him.
You can feel it coming on sometimes you can even stop it from happening all together. Most the time you can't so it's best to get somewhere safe or in this case get her baby somewhere safe.
No, that was luck. Know a couple people with epilepsy and have it myself. Seizures leave you unable to choose anything, it's as if you're trapped in the flow of a fast running river and you're about to drown.
Mothers are amazing,
Support the mothers of young ones as much as possible.

I’m epileptic. I can’t speak for everyone, but at the beginning of my seizures, it’s sort of like your brain is fighting itself. I can usually fight to stay semi-conscious until I know I’m okay to seize fully. Such a weird phenomenon. Not sure how long that semi-conscious phase can last though
@@emilyrenewithlove I'm epileptic as well, and my seizures have lasted up to 10 minutes if I remember correctly. That's twice as long as a doctor recommends to wait before calling Emergency Responders.
I've seen a talent show where a candidate hypnotized audience/invited celebrities.. but he failed to hypnotized the host.
He said it's because the host had unconscious mindset that he is responsible for the show (and he can't be slacking off) so his brain actually fought the hypnotizing.
I think it's similar here where the mom tried to stay conscious for the baby.
It wasn't a seizure, but I fought passing out till someone was holding my baby once. It was all I could do, but it was totally instinctual.

This is so sad... but this woman’s strong maternal instincts were spot on. I hope the mom is okay...
Maaaan I’m in tears over here 💚🙏😭 🖤🌻✨
Brooksie 8421 yeah. I feel this. You know a loving mother when you meet one. This woman held it together and didn’t judge while the young mom tried to resist the seizure knowing her small baby could get hurt. However because this mom has seizures she should probably start putting the baby in a stroller so she doesn’t have to worry about seizing again and dropping the baby....
She just said they are fine at the end of the video🤔
My mom has epilepsy which means she could have a seizure at pretty much anytime just like that mom in the video so it really hits home for me
Tyler Lee i hope you're mom is fine and always healthy
I think those two moms telepathically communicated in that moment...
I'm a man and at 0:19 when she moved backwards I instantly knew something was wrong.
@@user-bb1bx8hh2g maybe deep down your destined to be a mom :)
I think it’s just common sense though? The worker said she had this glazed look on her face and by the way she leaned back you can obviously tell something is wrong.
@@_.fr0ggybear._ Yeah but just the way the lady describes it to me seemed like more than that.
@@user-bb1bx8hh2g that's a dad reflex
As soon as I saw her, I knew it was a seizure 😢
It was great the clerk noticed. ❤
She is so well spoken. Very clear and concise. And loving, to boot!
Luckily she did that, if not the baby might have suffered injuries.
yeah because babies could die from that or something hahhaha idiot
@@TheDonkhLP Unfortunately, yes. Babies are extremely fragile. Your comment is scary because you're kinda acting like the type of person that would think a baby would be fine if it were thrown across a room, like a healthy adult would be, bar a few grazes and bruises. A baby could and likely would die, if not get severely injured.
.......
Wow thanks for the info
Very astute!
The clerk knew she was blacking out so she was reaching for the child and calling for help, what a HERO.
Alex Amara yeah!
NOT a "hero" Honestly, do you people know the definition of what a hero is???
@@ffjsb A person who is admired for their courage, outstanding achievements and noble qualities. Saving the baby and the mother was definitely a noble act so yeah she is a hero for both of them
@@ffjsb Do YOU know what a hero is?
@@animalfriend1939 I mean the person above you commented the definition, so I'm pretty sure they do
Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
