I had the most amazing time! Sewing buddy + hair fun =10/10, would visit again.
you are so tiny!
Yeah!
I'm LIVING for this collab 🙌 Both of your dresses came out so wonderfully!
"Sparkles go with every hair color, right?" So.... sparkles = neutrals? Sounds about right :D
Sums up my life ✨✨✨
Sparkles are Angela’s default. See also: ruffles, lace, gems. 🥰
Sparkles are always a good idea. (This is my cosplay motto. I might have added sparkle to some non sparkle costumes just because it's me and if I didn't change it up a bit it wouldn't be ME. Lol. (Some of those may be inside for only me to see lol) yep
Sparkles is a neutral. Lol
i mean metallics are considered a neutral and sparkles are metallic haha so by the transitive property of shinies...
"I have my makeup done and she has her hair done. together we are a whole woman!" adorable
You get to be friends with Morgan. Morgan gets to be friends with you. I struggle to avoid envy even as I acknowledge that I may not be living my best life.
I'm very lucky! :D
@@AngelaClaytonCostumery Yes, lucky. But, you have also worked hard, been very brave to put yourself out there, and been uber-persistant in following your path. You are so much more than lucky!
Enjoyed your happiness at having a companion-in-sewing. You sounded and looked so happy. Hope you had a great day. Thanks for the episode.
the final shots you guys took together have letting-your-mom-take-pictures-of-you-with-your-friends-at-the-park-before-prom vibes. Not only the dresses, but you both looked beautiful and sparkly and I loved seeing a more candid angela. i know the video wasn't necessarily about you guys getting makeovers, but I was just thinking about how effortlessly gorgeous you both are. 10/10 video
I love how your energies play off each other. Now Morgan has to guide you through a medieval dress at her house with her puppies stealing the show
I was also surprised to see how much taller you are than Morgan, it's hard to tell how tall someone is on video without someone else next to them. 😁
Me too! It took me by surprise.
I had no idea she was so tall hehe
@@hollybrooke322 I noticed it 1st when Angela was at Dandys party in New York. In her amazing gold dress!
I always thought Angela is petite, and Morgan is tall. Something about their body shapes? Turned out it is the opposite
The sun goddess and the moon goddess in the 50's! Adorable!
I never realized the Morgan was so short! Or that you are so tall!
It might be both. I know that Angela has stated she is tall I can't remember exactly but she is at least 5'9" I want to say that she is 5'11" but I could just be putting my mom's height on her. But I also think Morgan is short-ish I don't think she has a big height difference between her and Abby Cox and if I remember correctly Abby is about 5'4".
Definitely both!
@@AngelaClaytonCostumery Now I am wondering if I was close in remembering how tall you are. 🤔 😂
I can 100% relate to not wanting to go up and down stairs. My entire ironing setup is downstairs but my crafting/sewing room is upstairs. And I have a chihuahua that likes to bite my ankles when I go up and down stairs, especially when I’m carrying things (he’s so weird)
Sounds like he doesn't like it either lol
I used that glitter fabric in gold recently! It looks great but my entire life is contaminated with glitter! Love how your dresses turned out!
That fabric is a gift that keeps on gifting...er, glittering!
The crossover I didn't know I needed
Aw! The footage of you and Morgan together is adorable, and both your dresses turned out so pretty too! And puppy pics makes it perfect. Wishing you all the best, k
I remember you in the past talking about you anxieties with both driving and talking to people. These are two things that I am majorly struggling with and seeing your growth has been such an inspiration to me. At least on camera you seem much happier and more confident and I hope you are also feeling better off camera 💕
Yay! Friendship sewing!
I love this so much 😭 it's like when your two favorite TV shows have a cross over episode. I'm dorky, I know.
It is so cool to see how the exact same pattern fits on two similar but different bodies. It is hard to notice that it is the same dress. You have such different esthetics. I love how they both turned out and that you got to hang out and see together. During the pandemic I have been home alone sewing with you a lot too so it feels like I got to hang out with all my friends at once!! ❤️❤️
This video is amazing. I'm glad you gals got to hang out and sew together. It looks like you had a fun time!
I always know that if no one else has my back, Angela will always dye her hair the exact color I want for myself a few weeks before I do!
Both dresses turned out wonderful, of course you went with the glittery fabric :D I know you say all the time that you are quite tall but seeing you next to other people is always a surprise to me.
I really like how both your videos sort of bridge each other and highlight now different the looks and vibes are. The ways each of you use light and sound are so interesting. The Angelonner-verse is a new favorite.
I saw Morgan's video first and didn't notice the seam not matching up in your dress. It turned out great. I think we are all harder on our own mistakes than they warrant.
You always make sewing sequins and beads on lace look so effortless and the dress turned out so cute
beautiful ladies, beautiful dresses, sweet doggies! best collaboration!
Just finished watching Morgan's half. Your matching dress styles are super cute!
Thank you for bringing Morgan to the fun hair color gang! Though it makes me want to start color dying again instead of growing out my current faded mess...
I find you two so adorable. Getting to see more of Angela’s personality in Morgan’s blog clips was nice too, Angela seems like such a bubbly person. I hope you’re feeling more optimistic and motivated this year, Angela! The dress is so lovely
Those dresses put the original to shame! Great choices of fabric, so beautiful. Glad you two had fun!
Girl, if you dyed your hair at your desk without so much as a towel on your chair, you are so much more of a badass than I'll ever be. I actually had my hair that exact same color a few years ago and I got blue on fucking EVERYTHING. Despite the towels!
I think the magic 50/50 tie means you should get both and make a different dress with the other fabric.
I had a great time watching both sides of this collab! Your and Morgan's hair looks fantastic and the finished dresses are so fun! The beading on the lace under the bust really does something for me it's such a nice very "you" touch.
Sewing Buddies! Always makes things a 10/10. They both turned out beautifully! Such a fun video!
I love you and Morgan Donner as partners in crime/fabric. ❤️ this was such a fun video! Handicrafts can be very isolating (which is why they appeal to introverts like us), but when you find friends you can create with MAGIC happens!
Love the blue hair color and coordinating dress! It was so fun to see you two having a good time together! Yay, sewing buddy time ❤️
I love that slink you did on the stairs, very glam. The dress is amazing!
"Together we are a whole person"
Girl that is a MOOD
I loved watching both your video and Morgan's of the making of this project.
Thank you for this detailed tutorial, as well as the glimpse of your naughty but adorable puppy. I've been wondering about different uses of grosgrain ribbon in sewing, and your examples has tempted me to reinforce the waist in a dress that I recently made, which drapes beautifully, but isn't super stable because it's a rayon/linen blend chambray. I'm so glad you did this project with Morgan Donner, I love imagining you two having fun together, and it's neat to observe your different editing styles with the finished videos.
You are both the best! The dresses are fantastic, and this collaboration is everything we all needed!
Pinking sheers to cut out. Why did my mind not think of this. Mind justifiably blown up.
So fun, friends sewing is the best. You are such a beautiful woman. Keep inspiring.
Honestly, I love that you guys did these dresses together. Watching it constructed by two different people would make it so much easier if I was also planning on making this dress.. im not. But I love it anyways
I love your commentary. You always, always make me smile. Thanks.
Hello! I hope you had a happy day! I went plant shopping with my youngest daughter and we had fun, Now, I get to watch your video. I hope you have a wonderful week ahead. Thank you for this video and your talent.
I love you and Morgan. Happy to see you together.
I loved ALL OF THIS! Both dresses came out super cute (I may need to look for this pattern myself), and it was so much fun watching you and Morgan working together during your dress making sleepover! I hope there will be more collaborations like this in the future. SO funny!
I watch a lot of RUclips dress/costume makers but Angela and Bella Maze (i can't remember how to spell her last name) are my favorite actual dress makers. I love Abby Cox for history and Micarah for madcap fun. Never really watch the others as they are not my cup of tea.... The detail instruction (even though I can't sew), Angela provides for us, makes her my favorite.
I love to watch Angela and Bella as well. I want to like Micarah, but her measure once cut twice sewing method stresses me out. Somehow it always turns out for her though.
Costube collabs are excellent-ness in this world.
This whole look gives me Juno Birch vibes and I'm here for it!
I love a tall friend/short friend combo, you guys look so nice in the dresses!
Thank you both! Lovely results!
what a fun collaboration! love the way the trim looked with your sparkly blue bodice.
The mockup makes a really cute top!
I absolutely love how both dresses turned out!
The dress is beautiful and I 💕 the new hair colour!
Great job Angela. Of course you did a great job.
It looks like fun. I love the combination you chose.
I too, agree that the pettiecoat is the perpetrator, and is causing the bunching at the waist. Maybe adding boning to the darts could be an option.
I'm so glad to see an update from you! The dress is beautiful and even better you had a great time with a friend while making it! I hope you have a great spring! 🌱🌿🍀🌷🐛🦋
Such a cute idea! Love it when costumers collaborate.
Your so fun! Thank Morgan Donner, I found you. You both are awesome and make me feel less crazy. Hugs.
The dresses turned out beautiful!
id love to see more collabs between you two! such pretty dresses
Love it both of the dresses are just lovely.
OMG this is my favorite color, I love it. Great job. Thank you for uploading this.
absolutely beautiful, Ladies! Hats off to you both!
I have that blue brocade! It's beautiful!
Y'all look amazing!! I love the dresses and the hair! Great videos today!
Love the dress and most of all the fabrics!!
So fun! Two of my favorite Costubers together! The dress is lovely
I never thought about how much fun it would be to sew with a buddy before but y'all make it look so thrilling
So much f un to see you two together! Love it all! The dresses came out wonderful, and the hair is just 👌
Loved this video, so fun, very cute pattern. I love your videos! When Morgan says she is covered in glitter from being with you …it was so fitting 😁.
Oh my god you guys are so cute together, I love this whole idea and wish I had a sewing buddy like this 😍❤️
I think it's so awesome that you and Morgan got together! I love everything you both made during the weekend 😍😘
You look like a Glamour 50's Sailor Mercury and I am loving it. The fun you girls had in this video shows and it is highly contagious! 🤩
Fun watching you and Morgan making this project!
Your one of the fastest cutters I know ! 😀 I enjoyed both yours and Morgan's videos and the dresses. The dresses pleats at the elbow a lovely feature and the pleating in the back too . Cute clip of you pup licking your leg 💕
I love the fact that you said that you thought these things 8 hours ago and can't really remember what they were. This is my daily experience. It was really fascinating seeing the different approaches you each used to tackle different parts of the construction. They both came out adorable and you two are the cutest sewing buddies. :)
I feel like it's been forever since I've gotten my Angela fix! 💙
The hair+makeup+outfit in the opening is gorgeous! Super bright green goes well w Coraline blue hair 💙
Thanks for the video. Beautiful dress, really like materials you chose. 😍
I love both of you! I'm so happy that you decided to collaborate.
.
Impeccable timing. I just got this pattern and am sizing it for my daughter, so useful to see someone else put it together first!
Totally amazing!💙 Even your nail polish was the perfect color.
I've watched @morgandonner 's video too and I love seeing the difference in ur videos and how the dresses feel so different just based on ur body types and the fabric choices
I LOVE THIS! Twice the fun!!
This was so much fun to watch!
Love the blues it is my favorite color
So fun!! Loved loved loved this video.
Beautiful dress and awesome video!
Wow, I have a dress in what might be the exactly the same brocade! If not 100% the same, it's very similar. I got the dress second-hand and found this video while putting the finishing touch on alterations. My fabric looks navy, with silver and light blue roses and leaves, and shimmers beautifully in the light. Yours turned out great!
Your eye makeup 😍😍😍
Beautiful!
WOW, silamide! I haven't seen anyone use that since my days in the costume shop in college. That stuff is great! Didn't realize they still made it.
Love the dresses, love the hair, love watching the costuming buddies. Thanks for this!
Both dresses and both of you are super cute!
You made a lovely pair of dresses, and the new colours look great on your hair! And I gotta say, I adore the feather headpiece! It stood out so much even in Morgan's video - a wonderful choice.
I love this so much!! I'm so excited that you and Morgan had time to get together! I'm so here for this collar and visit!
This was so fun! Love seeing these kinds of collabs!
