- With the celebration of their 100th anniversary, Walt Disney Animation Studios released the short "Once Upon a Studio" that actually feels like the Magic is back.
This video is just the version of "When You Wish Upon a Star" that we can hear in the ending of this beautiful shortfilm. Enjoy it.
Hearing Pooh sing part of this song was something that I never knew I wanted.

It’s my favourite Disney movie actually :-) I was getting sad that they weren’t going to even acknowledge Dinosaur, so I was so happy to see them show up in this final shot and looking better than ever! :-)

I do remember dinosaur i still watch it, it's my favorite movie of all time.
I however do & did. I saw it in Theaters 23 years ago. I have a Deluxe Edition 2 Disc Disney DVD of it & discovered there was some concepts of unused Giant Crocodiles & some of the other Dinosaurs that were originally planned for the movie. Especially the sensational Tyrannosaurus Rex. But according to the profile, they decided to use a Larger than normal life Carnotaurus instead. I wish they kept the Rex or 2 as the Antagonist for the Disney Film DINOSAUR.
It makes perfect sense why they used an archive recording for Jiminy Cricket. As Dickie Jones (Pinocchio's original voice actor) said it best, nobody could ever sing the song just like Cliff Edwards. I doubt any new actor for the cricket would even come close.

Yeah 😊. Cliff Edward’s was a pretty good singer. He played the role of Jimmy Cricket wonderfully. Cliff has been one of my favorite actors growing up. Jiminy was very wise
hearing Belle, Quasimodo, Pocahontas, Ariel and Mulan sing this nearly made me tear up. Literally my childhood growing up as a 90's baby. I hope they remake House of Mouse because this was so beautiful. 😭

Hearing Quasimodo in particular got me good. I’ve always loved his singing voice
Hearing my two favorite celebrities Paige O'Hara and Jim Cummings sing truly warmed my heart. Paige needs to return as Belle on a regular basis. The producers even said in an interview that they were amazed to hear that she now sounds like she did back in 1991.
I know! Same with Judy Kuhn and Tom Hulce. It was amazing to hear her again

Oh yes Paige O'Hara and Jim Cimmings. I love those actors. They played very well for the roles that they did. Jim did Pete, Tigger, Winnie the Pooh and Fat Cat from chip and dale rescue rangers. Oh and Paige, even though its been about 30 years since the original Beauty and the Beast, shes still got that singing voice like Amy Adams.
This whole thing is a reminder that there is still genuine talent and artistic magic in Disney.
It just takes the right way to find it

Esmeralda is smiling joyfully, Phoebus is smirking as if to say “That’s our Quasi”, and while Frollo might have a more neutral face, I think deep down in his usual twisted way he’s proud that Quasi still gets to be above everyone else. “Hehehe… *good.* Show them all why our movie is the best.”

Now remember, this the moment when they made this short even when Disney felt so much problems this entire year including “Wish” will hold up as whether they enjoyed it or not (give it a chance and respect it from viewers and children) and other Disney projects were felt very controversy like Indy 5, Elemental, Marvels, and Ahsoka. This is the legacy that comes to an end and that made this 100th anniversary year into a tribute in our childhood and good ol’ times watching these feature films and shorts and this incredible moment where Disney is going to keep this last moment where things is going to change. Probably because we can’t judge them just watching good Disney moments is still there.
Time is come till the end. Happy 100 years to Disney and live happily ever after when days will be done soon.

I could listen to this song forever.
This song was my favorite part of this entire short next to the moment with Mickey and Walt with Feed the birds playing in the background. To see so many characters interacting with each other, even the 2D and 3D animated characters interacting so well in my opinion! They utilized so many characters and were so intentional with the placement and parts they took!
My favorite part of the song was definitely to hear the archive original song by Cliff Edwards and see Jiminy Cricket. That is when the tears started. Then, to have the full shot of all the characters while singing the final part was a perfect ending.
With so many songs, I was not sure if they could have picked a better one that encompasses Disney animation for the last 100 years.

I remember The Hunchback of Notre Dame. My fave quote is, "Pour the wine and cut the cheese!" That line made me laugh as a kid.

The fact that they even brought back characters from underatted underatted Diseny Movies such as Dinosaur, Atlantis: The Lost Empire, Treasure Planet and even Brother Bear brings a tear to my eye.

I love that Pocahontas was in it. I just wish Aladdin and Jasmine sang in it. Also, having Asha in it with Snow White and Mulan was really heartwarming, showing us how far Disney had come since then.

Can you imagine if all these characters also sang something like “Any Dream Will Do”, “Forever Young”, or the Japanese “Flowers Will Bloom”? That would be just as epic and beautiful as this!
I loved this song since it warmed my heart
My favorite parts are Bambi Thumper and Flower's appearance, Scar got flew over by Mr Toad with Aladdin's Carpet, Iago guessed that Goofy fell down by saying "Three Two One", and Bongo from "Fun and fancy free" appeared in the picture, that is nice of Disney to welcome Bongo in the short, and the cutest scene I've ever looked is when I see Dumbo with Tod and Copper from the Fox and the Hound with Gurgi from the Black Cauldron as Pocahontas sings!
